Participants and judges, please claim your stickers. If any of you are unable to download them, leave any of your social media accounts and I will send them to you there.

Does it look good though? I tried my best. It looks really simple but this is my first time, lol. I hope it's to your liking.

The participants do check if your books are added to two reading lists: one titled as '🐟⭐Super Tuna Awards!⭐🐟' and another for the specific award category you entered, like :- '🐟STA - KIM SEOKJIN🐟'

Also, I have been thinking about raising the number of entries per participant from 2 to 3 entries in each individual and special category. What do you guys think about it? Let me know in the comments!

Now let's talk more in depth about why I opened this award book.

As I said in the introduction chapter, it has always been in my mind to open an award book and I have always liked that idea.

What really made me open a specific one for the hyung line of BTS right now is that I don't come across any awards just for them. Literally, I think they gain less recognition compared to the maknae line, and in many award books I entered in the past, the maknae line's category always gets filled within 2 to 3 days. If I had to speak honestly, I felt really, really sad about the hyung line. As someone who loves them too much, I couldn't stand still, and that's why I opened this award book only for them. Yes, I will open one in the future for the maknae line, but the hyung line came first because they need some recognition too, as well as the authors who write fics about the hyung line.

From the past few days since I opened this award, I want to give a round of applause to all the participants for filling up some categories real quick.

The Moonchild with RM category is already almost fully filled, with only one entry left, so I will start judging that category soon and hopefully, I can give the results quickly, as well as for the Best Plot category, which has only two entries left to be filled.

Again, I want to appreciate these participants, the authors of hyung line fanfiction and I am really happy to come across many genres of books and not just any fanfiction genre.

You guys don't know how much it delights me to see all these books, and I am so happy. If not for the limited time I have, especially as a final year college student, I would have read each and every book myself and would have been the only one to judge all these books. But unfortunately, I don't have much time, which is why I created a form for judges to help and support me through all this.

And for the review of your books after the judging process, the reason I made it a rule for the judges to make the review more than 500 words and point out reasons for any deductions is because there are many awards I entered where I haven't won and wasn't given any reasons for the point deductions.

Literally, only 2 or 3 judges gave reasons, but a ton of them just deducted many points without any explanation. As an author, it made me feel sad and many times demotivated not knowing why I couldn't win or why I received such low scores.

So, as a fellow author to all of you, I assure you all that I will try my best to have the judges in this award book point out the reasons for any point deductions. As a reviewer in a community and a judge of several awards shows and this award book, if I were to judge of your books, I will definitely give a review that is as detailed as I can make it in my time. Of course, I will provide reasons for any lower points and suggest improvements in certain areas. Many awards I entered gave reviews in only 200 words, but in my award, I want to give out much more detailed reviews for the participants to understand and make any necessary improvements in their books.

Also, let me tell you all a short story that happened to me some days ago.

There's this award show where I entered one of my books (the dom-sub universe one - Yoongi (sub) and Jin (dom)) into the best plot category. The judging process took longer than I expected and finally, when the results came out, I didn't win. What made me more sad than not winning was the review I got through my email from the award show host.

I don't wanna point out who the host or judge is or what the award book is, but let me point out the scores I got from the judge for my book:

Idea : less than 6 out of 10
Characters : less than 3 out of 5
World Building : less than 4 out of 5
Hook : less than 3 out of 5
Grammar + Vocabulary : less than 6 out of 10
Originality : less than 7 out of 10
Interest : less than 3 out of 5

Total : less than 32 out of 50

The judge then added at the end of the review that my book isn't one that she will give her attention to and isn't worth her time, which just,

Hit. Me. Fucking. Right. In. My. Heart. Like an arrow that got stuck in me and I couldn't get it out no matter how much I tried.

Literally, that day was the worst day of my life and no one knew how much I cried inside because I really tried my best in putting all my effort into that book. The ones who read the book and mainly the ones who reviewed it knew how unfair the marks were.

But what made me really feel motivated even after that was the best review I got from a review shop only one day after that award review. A review from, umm, I don't know if the reviewer is comfortable with me saying her name here, but let's call her Jellybean.

Yes, Jellybean's review is the best one I have ever gotten. Her review, compared with the award's review, is completely opposite. The reviewer observed every detail, gave improvements for the areas I needed and praised me for many things, which is the best feeling I have ever gotten. Whenever I feel sad or demotivated, I just go to her review shop and read the review she gave me to regain my trust in myself and the motivation to continue writing. She is the only reason I became a reviewer myself. She's the one who helped me get out that arrow that stuck in my heart and I am thankful for her and will remember her and her review until the end.

But the judge who judged my book pointed out many things, saying they were really out of place and criticized how Yoongi gets stuck in Jin's cruel world.

The judge mentioned that many scenes lacked reason, even though I had addressed everything in detail across many chapters. It was clear she didn't put any effort into the review and I can clearly say she didn't try her best in judging my book. It seemed like she was forced to give the scores due to her lack of time. The review was really harsh, despite my detailed explanations for the criticisms and the things that were supposedly 'out of place.'

So for the judges in my award book, please don't judge the participants' books in a rush or give out harsh reviews. I believe in you guys and your judging process, but I feel it is my responsibility to ensure that participants do not feel unfairly treated or demotivated by harsh reviews.

So if you guys need more time for judging or find yourselves in a difficult situation and can't continue the judging process, please let me know. I will definitely help you out by extending the number of days for judging if needed, and I can review the books myself if you are unable to do so in that time. It's completely alright. Please trust me.

If you don't want to judge a particular category or genre, please decline even if you've been assigned. Don't judge solely for the sake of payment. If you're not comfortable judging a specific genre or category, let me know. I can reassign you to something more suitable. So refrain from judging anything you're not knowledgeable about just for the sake of payments. I'm not saying all judges are like this, but I want to address it because there are some who score books based on personal preference and likings rather than the judging criteria.

And since the judging process for Moonchild with RM and Best Plot seems to be starting soon, please judge the books fairly and provide reviews that are not harsh. The judging criteria will be out soon and I am really excited to start the judging.

The Participants, please follow your respective judges when they are assigned to judge your book, as it's the only payment they will be receiving from you. Remember, they have lives outside of this app too, so do not approach them with questions about the judging process. If you have any doubts, ask me, not them.

I think I have said more than enough today, so see y'all later.
