Fukushima was snapped back into his senses from recollecting some of his worse memories in his life when he heard a loud crash while he was still in the process of being crushed to death, then all of a sudden Kai's barriers all shattered including the one crushing Fukushima.

And so he looked only to see what had caused it only to see Mikaru and Miyabi who was currently standing behind Kai and so Fukushima got up an asked.

" So it's you again, why am I not surprised your off playing hero again ? You always seem to show up when things get really bad but I think I'll let you help out this time. "

Christopher then sat up activating his ability causing all nearby metals to surround Anya which became a mechsuit she wore capable of utilizing both their abilities combined.

She first compressed her shadows into a energy blast that blew away Fukushima's flames that surrounded her then he headed right for Miyabi as Anya yelled.

" Stop getting in our way !!! "

But Miyabi restored it into ordinary shadows which fell to the ground and so Fukushima threw a fire energy ball at Anya to finish what he had started.

But she seemed to have learned a new trick since she created a shadow energy barrier which caused Fukushima to become confused on why she didn't just do that earlier until he spotted Kai saying.

" You two are absolutely pathetic even when you worked together, I won't allow weaklings by my side so I command you both to do better. "

This immediately angered Fukushima into saying...

" Damn it !! He's seriously pissing me off is he trying to be a god or something, experimenting with the strong and throwing away the weak, why does one's commands hold so much weight especially since his ability is the ultimate defensive barrier ? "

Fukushima however although whispered it under his breath out of frustration and Anya sent a secondary shadow ball attack at Miyabi yelling.

" Wow cool I learned a new trick, Dark shadow ball of terror, capable of inducing the pain of living in the darkest time in her lifetime upon contact !!! "

Unfortunately though Miyabi was caught off guard still recovering from Anya's previous attack so Mikaru had to jump in taking the attack in her place and he seemed to have been recovered to full strength so oddly it didn't seem to faze him as he began to walk through Anya's attack asking.

" This sensation, these memories these are the ones from the time of Fumi's death leading up to my reunion with her. Could you blast me again maybe I'll get to remember the face of that demon who murdered my family leading me to be adopted by Yuuto sensei ? "

Which clearly terrified Anya since she knew that it being a shadowy attack should've also caused his movements to get restricted but there he was walking through it casually until Miyabi yelled.

" How dare you hurt my friends, haven't they gone through enough ? I'll restore every pain you've ever had to experience an see how you like it !!? "

Then Anya was hit by a blast of energy from all angles caused by Miyabi's ability and she started rapidly taking damage proving that Miyabi wasn't bluffing as she was slowly brought to her knees and her mechsuit fell apart.

Mikaru an Fukushima then charged at Kai working together as they punched a barrier Kai had placed between himself and them which even with all their combined strengths they couldn't break since this was a unique barrier that had cemented him as the untouchable king since it reflected any damage imposed upon it back at the perpetrators at double the original output.

" Not bad I'll acknowledge that you both could qualify to be a 2 star with your skills but it's not enough to beat me because you see this barrier reflects damage so you'll never be able to touch me. "

Kai lamented complimenting their efforts, although he only saw it as a waste since they were immediately hit by recoil which cause their arms to start gushing blood as their bones made cracking noises ending in it falling to their sides, however there was someone who had gotten around his barrier.

" How dare you, what gives you the right to dictate what's wrong or right when even you've failed to create a proper hierarchy system !!?? "

Su proclaimed as Ken appeared behind Kai before quickly delivering a punch directly to Kai's face since he had used his invisibility to sneak around Kai's barrier while Su cut it in half before Ken summoned flames in his hand for the epic punch which literally cracked Kai's face open revealing that it was completely hollow.

Kai expectedly enough grabbed on to Ken's face in response an attempted to crush it as payback but Ken raised his hands above his head in a desperate attempt at charging a huge flame ball which he proceeded to drop on Kai at plank blank range leaving him no chance to dodge or form an appropriate barrier.

Immediately following the explosion Ken brought down lightning within the smoke terribly wounding them both since he didn't even give himself the opportunity to escape but this only seemed to have agitated Kai making him toss Ken into the school's building yelling.

" Damn it, little brother your so annoying, don't you know when to quit !? "

Although Ken had gave it his all he was completely defeated by a single attack which knocked him out cold proving just how far ahead his older brother was but Kai had somehow taken on damage, so there was hope.

" You appear injured so you aren't divine after all but still your head is cracked an hollow so you aren't human either. "

Fukushima pondered aloud as Miyabi left Anya Russia unconscious and began to heal Mikaru and Fukushima simultaneously restoring their arm's and body to complete health.

Then she proceeded to fall to her knees from overusing her ability since she was the one who restored Kai's barriers to dust in order to save Fukushima earlier.

" Oh about that don't you think I have things to do during the day, other than going around fighting everyone ? This actually isn't my main body it's a manikin I created in the shape of my body with my barrier capabilities but now... "

Kai attempted to explain to them condescendingly but was interrupted by Mikaru who leaped towards him while his guard was down taking advantage of the situation.

Mikaru launched a barrage of his martial arts basic punches called 'bullet strikes' knocking Kai from left to right to add a extra layer of confusion and unpredictability to prevent Kai from deploying his king's body barrier armour.

" Apologize, apologize for what you made happen to Jason, sure I might've barely knew him and he might've been far too determined for his own good but he still didn't deserve to die !? "

Mikaru yelled before pulling his right leg back for a final attack that became Jason's favourite during their training together, 'Phoenix strike full force'  but something unexpected happened...

Mikaru flinched in pain causing him to hesitate which gave Kai the opportunity to deploy his barrier and Mikaru stopped right in his tracks as his pants knee exploded with his blood which shot out from all the damages being reflected by Kai's barrier who was now swaying from right to left before whispering as he reached for Mikaru.

" How dare you, how dare you lay hands on me, do you want me to send you to meet him again ? "

He was far too stubborn to consider apologizing to someone weaker than him an would far rather murder another student than doing so but fortunately Fukushima stopped him from moving by using Anya's shadow manipulation after grabbing the arm part of her mechsuit.

Although he was struggling to keep Kai completely still since Kai then directed his attention to Fukushima, but luckily Kai's body slowly crumbled had reached it's maximum damage it could survive since it was only a manikin puppet being controlled.

Trembling in fear Fukushima used his demon claws of fury to throw flames at Kai to keep him at bay from Mikaru as he yelled.

" Mikaru what was that, you can't pull any punches against this guy or we'll both be killed in a single move !? "

" I know I just thought I could've gave this dictator a poetic finish by using Jason's signature move but my mastery isn't as perfect as of yet so I couldn't perform it while using my repel aura, so all the damage came rushing back that I was using to double my power. Especially since he was able to deploy his barrier. "

Mikaru responded an Christopher then picked up Miyabi in his arms as he drew out his maximum power whispering.

" Anya lend me your powers. "

Kai's puppet then smiled sensing what was to come as he whispered.

" Don't get too excited, the academy is destructible. "

Then something started shadowing the academy and everyone looked up only to see a huge asteroid coming towards them.

" But I thought his ability was magnetism, isn't that a big rock ? "

Fukushima asked as he braced himself for impact however Su stepped forward saying.

" Everyone pay attention, this is what happens when you use your vital energy called chi or your preterhuman energy compressed densely into a single point. Cut in half !!! "

Immediately the asteroid split in half before bursting in several other smaller pieces nonetheless Su wasn't finished.

" Cut in half, cut in half, cut in half until there's nothing left !!! "

Thus yet again it split into several smaller pieces repeatedly, again and again until the remnants were small enough to burn up in the atmosphere on their way down.

Kai's puppet had fallen to pieces and Anya had collapsed so Christopher decided it was about time to throw in the towels as he carried away Anya in his arms saying.

" It seems that we've lost, I guess I was right to have pegged you as someone special Mikaru the charisma ? As an award I'll take Miyabi and Ken to the Nurse's office. "

But Kai's puppet wasn't exactly destroyed whispering as it slowly broke down.

" It doesn't matter how hard anyone trains there's no way they'd be able to train their internal organs. That's what I thought so I always striked my foes internally due to the fact that no one could do anything about it so who'd think I'd lose in the form of a manikin without internal organs. "

This Caused Fukushima to say in response.

" Only those who meet your standards will remain at this academy uh, well now I will not rest until you are dethroned !!! "

This however amused Kai who responded.

" Don't get cocky, just because I admitted defeat here it doesn't mean it would be the case if this was my real body. "

Fukushima on the other hand decided on rephrasing what he had said in order to make it clear that it was not an empty threat.

" Did you ever forgive an animal just because they begged for their lives...? Didn't think so, you only resorted to physical abuse because you couldn't prove Jason wrong. As soon as you reach the top an believe that you're the strongest, someone will appear and put you back in your place, I am that someone. If there are some that rise up, there are others who grovel beneath them, isn't the world cruel...? When you are first introduced to the world it seems like the world is limitless and you can have anything but then one day the world tells you this is your limit although there are so many things you want to have, I'll be that limit after all, you don't meet my standards to remain here. "

This was the first someone had ever talked down to Kai in a long while so in his mind since he had already been able to figure out their upper limits he wasn't really intending on engaging with them again so he warn Fukushima of his insolence to his king.

" Don't use such strong words it'll only make you look weak action is all you need, but remember there is no perfect invincible hero, I'd know because I defeated them all and that'd include you right now if I were to humor you an come to face you with my real body kid. "

The thought grieved Fukushima anguish he replied.

" Yeah but if I ran away how would I live with myself, with great power comes great responsibility I can't turn my back on those who needed help and died at the hands of your hierarchy ? "

Before he jumped over completely crushing Kai's manikin's head with his right foot before then turning to Mikaru asking.

" What, is there a problem ? "

And although it was a manikin Mikaru had a hard time handling death of any kind especially since he had experienced it himself, so he turned his head away saying.

" You never told us you had abilities, and although I think you owe us an explanation as a friend... That's not why I'm here right now, there's bigger issues to tend to so I'll just say this, you can't change the choice you made all you can do is not let it ruin you. "

But Fukushima assumed he was talking about what he did to Kai's manikin although Kai had already admitted defeat so he yelled.

" The nicer you are , the easier you're hurt. So, be an a$&hole !!! I was completely justified in all that I've done like what kind of king or hero does something like that, did they think they could get away with being as violent as they wanted if they said it was for the sake of others ? "

Realizing that Fukushima was possibly only frustrated due to some form of trauma which withheld him from exercising his abilities without becoming enraged, possibly being mad at himself for needing that power Mikaru approached him an gave him a hug saying.

" Calm down Fukushima. No one can heal an injured heart, time alone can cure all wounds so whatever it might've been that hurt you has merely given you the opportunity to grow, remember that you can't gain something without losing something first but whatever it was, it made you strong... I know you're strong since I'm like you everyone is always targeting me by pushing me breaking me. I was lonely, I was rejected, I was sad but those reasons made me strong and that strength made me corrupt creating a monster called K who desired revenge. "

The genuine care and emotions Mikaru had shown reached Fukushima and he realized that he wasn't the only one suffering so he asked.

" Why do you shoulder so many burdens all by yourself Mikaru ? "

Which immediately broke Mikaru and he was no longer able to hide how he felt and withhold the truth from Fukushima so he said in the depths of his despair.

" It's because I feel so uncertain it's almost as if I'm a different person, the only thing I can do is keep telling myself that I'll save Jason, my first and only student who was once my hero, I'll be his hero. I'm pretty pathetic but I'm doing my best but it's not enough, if only I had ReLife then I could say 'If it's to save you I don't care how many times I die' !! "

This however left Fukushima in silence as he pondered aloud.

" 'ReLife, don't care how many times I die' , what is he saying, is it a metaphor or is he dreaming about an ability he saw in some anime? Anyway, Mikaru it's as if you said if you keep winning the game then a day will come when you'll experience more pain because of how far you've come, people can't have everything after all. The day always comes when they lose something but you gotta be sure that you keep moving forward or you'll certainly regret it. "
