12 years later and the Yakuza gang was just as active as ever, more and more of them were springing up in the open like maggots on a carcass.

Mikado was a hero even before he ever put on a mask, to everyone else he earned his position, heroism required sacrifice, such as suffering so someone else doesn't have to but...

Yuuto had become the strongest hero even though he refused to wear a costume like Mikado did, plus Yuuto  preferred to handle his missions alone so naturally Mikado didn't get as many opportunities to shine as he did, obviously none of the masses would truly acknowledge Mikado since to them he was more of a vigilante than a hero, no one didn't understand what being worthless felt like to Mikado, it was like being a dirty rag filled with shit and vomit.

Although Mikado had received an ability from an unknown man when he was younger it proved useless in improving his hopes of saving someone.

Mikado : " Yuuto do you like being a hero, it's not too hard ? "

Yuuto : " Let's see, I don't really think too hard about it, I like doing something that not everyone else can do, I like working hard, and I like seeing everyone around our town happy for a change since that also makes me happy myself. "

Mikado : " Oh, I see... Then what do you say we truly clean up this town by going straight for the source ? "

Yuuto : " Are you suggesting that we disband the Yakuza organization in our town instead of fighting against them every day forever ? "

" I heard that... Are you two really planning on going up against an entire organization, I'm not going to try and stop you two since I didn't train you for all these years after adopting you for nothing. But my job is to judge justly, and defend the poor and fatherless, do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. "

This man is Tenjin he's the one who's been taking care of us and a lot of other orphans in this town ever since we were kids, although now that we're a lot older we do a bit of vigilante work in order to make this town a safer place where orphans won't be such common occurrence.

Ever since we were kids and he found out that we got superpowers he hand picked us both and taught us how to precisely manipulate the energy within our bodies, chi manipulation he calls it and he forbid us from going around displaying or teaching this technique which he calls a heavenly secret.

Few hours later.

Yakuza men : " Intruders, intruders, two men has infiltrated our headquarters, requesting backup !? "

Mikado had forced his way into the Yakuza hideout asking Yuuto to just stand by and offer support when needed which would be when Mikado pushed a button to alert him to finally jump in if he was in danger.

Yuuto decided to wait at the door since that would at least prevent anyone from escaping, meanwhile Mikado fought and fought his way up the multi floored building by using his chi manipulation and detection skill to follow the wind and flow like a river channeling all his energy into a single point of your body to attack while minimizing the energy being used so he could simultaneously dodge.

By staying on guard he enabled himself to avoid their bullets with minimal movements. That's a fundamental of using Chi, being willing to adapt and grow both mind and body so they'll both eventually adapt and grow as well while keeping calm and being sure to breathe, this is why meditation was key in order for him to reach such a level.

Only after he learned how to do this all like it's second nature he decided to finally go head to head with the entire Yakuza organization itself. When he mastered chi he was able to close his eyes and tune into his environment to feel the vibrations in the air hinting him on how far his opponents attack are, it allowed him to sense the opening for all attacks that lack perfection so that's why they were no match for him (although he was indeed shot a few times while proceeding through the building).

It all came down to speed, accuracy, flexibility while never closing his eyes even for a second until the fight was won, plus he was wearing a custom multi layered bullet proof armor and a helmet whose appearance was inspired by super heroes he saw on TV growing up.

Everyday ever since the day he witnessed Yuuto's strength Mikado has been tirelessly training in hopes of reaching a similar level but again and again Yuuto would display an even greater level of strength and speed so Mikado could've never really reach him.

Nevertheless along the way of trying to become someone completely unstoppable he reached the level of someone great so within less than a couple of hours he was able to reach their leader who was standing on the roof over looking the city, although this was partially because his plan was a surprise to them and they were mostly off guard and unprepared.

Yakuza leader : " How were you able to get to this place ? "

Mikado : " Well I ran up the-... Oh I get what you're asking me, the other criminals downstairs tried to stop me so I had to punch them. "

*Pow, pow, pow*

Unbeknownst to Mikado there was another man on the roof with a sniper fully prepared to greet him.

Yakuza leader : " Is that so, then die !? "

Red haired woman : " I'm sorry. "

The man on the roof seemed to have had a woman with him that was able to make them appear as a large dumpster which was why Mikado failed to detect them when he ran to the roof even though he was careful to look around.

Mikado : " Being weak sucks but if I work harder than everyone else sacrificing absolutely everything then someday maybe I'll become something. "

Mikado said as he coughed up some blood while preventing himself from falling to the ground, but he knew that he was already far too injured and fatigued to keep fighting all alone at this point so he pressed the alert button calling for Yuuto's aid.

" Hey, Mikado are you alright ? "

Yuuto asked while walking towards him from the edge of the roof.

Yakuza leader : " And where'd you come from ? "

Yuuto: " I jumped over the edge, over there. "

Yakuza leader : " But this is the seventh floor !!! So, are you that strong hero said to have achieved peak human muscle structure who keeps foiling my absolute control over this city ? "

Yuuto : " I take it you're this Yakuza branch's leader ? "

Yakuza leader : " Correct, I'm Noritoshi and I'm not exactly a human, I'm a creature known as a preterhuman which  the world governments has concluded to have extra dimensional energy capable of disregarding basic physics. When I was born the balance between preterhuman and human was severely shaken and with my supernatural powers I was not only able to take over this Yakuza organization's branch after escaping from the Japanese government albeit they occasionally send other Preterhumen and military soldiers to recapture me which is the primary cause of all the war and violence in this area since I have an entire organization backing me. "

Yuuto : " I don't know what you're talking about ? "

Noritoshi : " Then I'll show you. "

Then Yuuto dashed towards him throwing a punch but surprisingly enough Noritoshi caught it with relative ease, amazed by this since it had never happened to him before Yuuto commended him.

" Wow, you're pretty strong, no one has ever caught one of my punches before. "

However Noritoshi decided to correct his misunderstanding of the situation.

" Incorrect, I am not the one who's really strong here, you are. As I was saying earlier I am a supernatural being but I possess the unique ability that equalizes my strength, speed and durability stats with anyone and anything I consider a threat, that's how I took over this branch of the Yakuza organization, I considered all of their bullets a threat so I was as fast, powerful and durable as all of their bullets combined. "

Yuuto : " Interesting, so defeating you would mean I'm stronger than myself and your entire army combined... "

Realizing that he was merely copying his physical stats Yuuto started spamming punches at him at full speed causing Noritoshi to start blocking them as the entire city started shaking.

" We gotta get out of here !!! "

Mikado yelled grabbing ahold of the red haired girl and the man with the sniper before running for it as fast as possible, even before they could say anything in response.

" Are you an idiot, I'm the guy who shot you !? "

The guy with the sniper yelled as he wriggled his way out of Mikado's grip, causing Mikado to warn since he didn't have time to turn back and force him to come along.

" There's no time to waste, this building won't last very long with two absolute juggernauts going at it !! "

But still being confused by his actions the red haired girl asked.

" But why are you doing this, we're the ones who tried to take you out earlier you know, I'm another escaped freak just like our leader Noritoshi. Although he tends to be a little cold choosing to ignore all the orphans being created in the area thanks to all the fighting, especially since us Preterhumen never once got to know our parents growing up. "

Nevertheless Mikado yelled while continuing to run for the exit with her.

" I don't care about any of that, I'm a hero so I save people. Everyone else, you hear that, you need to get out of here before the building collapses !!! "

She however still found issues with leaving and explained.

" Weren't you listening, I'm being hunted by the government, I don't have a place to return to and call home so I have to stick around Noritoshi even if he's barely better than the government themself !? "

Hence Mikado decided to make things clear.

" I heard you the first time but being that your ability is transformation I don't see why you wouldn't be able to continue to evade them, plus if you're okay with it I can be your place to return to, you can live with me until you're able to get your own place !? "

Thus her face turned completely red and she remained silent until they reached the exit where hundreds of Yakuza members were gathered tending to each other's wounds in the distance.

But mere moments after they exited the building there was an explosion on the top floor that smashed something with great force all the way down to the bottom floor causing the building itself to collapse into the ground making a shockwave that shoved them to the ground, in that moment something else completely astonishing happened since all GPS devices around the world temporarily turned off and every star in the observable universe also shook, something that led to Re : Muay Thai being called the martial arts capable of shaking the very heavens itself.

Notwithstanding everything that had happened there also seemed to be someone standing between Mikado, the woman and the explosion.

" Are you two alright ? "

A very bloody Yuuto in torn up clothing asked protecting them from the debris caused by the destroyed building, realizing that Yuuto had somehow won his fight with the Yakuza leader Mikado asked while getting off of the red haired girl since he had placed his body over her's in order to try and protect her.

" Yuuto is that you, so does that mean you beat him ? "

Yuuto : " Yeah, he was pretty tough ! I was able to verify that he was as fast and strong as I was, perhaps even more, he easily blocked all of my attacks so I made a Chi aura around myself for him to hit instead so I could absorb all of his extra dimensional kinetic energy using Chi which made me that much stronger so I could've survived. Then after absorbing a couple dozen punches I adapted stepped back and grabbed onto his arm when he dashed towards me with a punch, and I used his momentum with every bit of power I had concentrated into my two arms to slam him into the roof ending the fight. "

Noritoshi : " I'm not done yet, this is just getting started !!! "

Noritoshi yelled blasting out of the rubble completely bloody with his right arm missing, but as this happened their hideout was completely surrounded by the Japanese military and the Preterhumen assets.

??? : " I'm here to defeat you, Noritoshi. "

Two black haired twin men said, they were a teenage Mojin and his older twin brother Suiryu.

Noritoshi : " Why do you bastards keep hunting me down, it's not that you can beet me anyway being that I am the strongest Preterhuman. "

Suiryu and Mojin : " We don't care what you say, the prime minister promised to let us know our last name if we stopped you. "

Their statement severely angered Noritoshi so he blasted towards them at high speeds causing all of the military soldiers to open fire at him but as expected this only made him stronger so suiryu jumped in Noritoshi's way activating his own ability to protect him and his brother.

Noritoshi : " I know all about your ability kid, it's spatial manipulation that allows you to put up a barrier that sends all the damage from your attacker right back at them so the harder they try to hit you the more likely you are to win, and your brother is able to slow down time in a specific area. But since I consider everyone here a threat I'm as strong as all of you combined so I can just break through time, space itself !!! "

Hence a black hole was being formed around him until suddenly he started coughing up blood before collapsing into nothingness as Suiryu and Mojin leaped backwards in order to escape.

Suiryu : " Normally that would be what'd happen and we'd end up destroying a chunk of this town before retreating injured, but your all tuckered out of Preternatural energy so your ability went haywire before that'd happen. "

Mikado : " Wait, does that mean that you were draining him of his energy when he made contact with you Yuuto ? "

Yuuto : " Yeah, I thought that's what I said. "

Governor general : " Nice work Blondie, we couldn't do it without you so how'd you say about working for your government to hunt down Preterhumen terrorists and all sorts of criminals that wriggle around. "

Yuuto : " I refuse, this whole thing sounds super shady so I won't work for you or else you make everything about my employment public and open for others to apply as heroes. "

Governor general : " Hahaha, your hilarious kid but I'll humor you and bring your proposal before the prime minister... And now about that Preterhuman over there, surrender or we'll shoot !? "

Mikado : " No way, she only wants to live a normal life !!! "

Yuuto : " I'm with him so if you want her you gotta go through me. "

Governor general : " You punks are driving a hard bargain !!! "

Military soldiers : " Sir we've emptied all of our clips trying to stop Noritoshi. "

Governor general : " But we still have... !!! "

Suiryu : " Sir, my brother and I are almost out of Preternatural energy. "

Governor general : " Okay kid, I'll agree to your terms but we'll be leaving you two in charge of watching her, so if she ever acts up you will all be deemed terrorists and executed. "

Mikado : " You see terrorists everywhere but there aren't any here, she's a Japanese citizen you know !!! "

Although Mikado had adamantly yelled what he truly believed towards the governor general he didn't pay him any mind he just walked away requesting his army to pull back, so angered by this situation Mikado stepped forward preparing to show them a piece of his mind but he was stopped by no other than the red haired Preterhuman woman he had rescued.

" Hey I know how stubborn you are, I know that you love trying as hard as you can to save everyone even if it breaks you... But still, I want you to take some time to relax with me from all this chaos and suffering, Mikado. "

Mikado : " But if what you said is true then they're still oppressing those preter whatever, and stealing them from their families !!! "

Preterhuman woman : " You don't get it don't you ? They say that it's never too late to start something new in one's life but the bigger problem is never when to start but when to quit. I don't want you to try and stop them and end up getting hurt, I want you to go out with me, please be my boyfriend !!!? "

Mikado : " Eh !? "

Yuuto : " You sure got some Rizz there, Mikado. "

Then as this happened the citizens of the town began to gather and those of them who had witnessed what had happened began to yell.

" Look, that blonde haired man who's always been looking out for us has single handedly took down the Yakuza organization finally bringing peace to our town, Peace Sign, Peace Sign, Peace Sign, Peace Sign !!! "

Yuuto : " Are all those people cheering for me ? But I'm no hero, I was just following you and offering some assistance. "

Mikado had a sad expression on his face when he saw this but he quickly shook it off and said to Yuuto.

" Look at those cheers man, you don't get to decide if your a hero are not... They do and they've decided that you're their hero Peace Sign. "

And that's Mikado's story on how he met Yuuto and changed his town for the better, after a couple months of dating that super human woman decided to settle down and create a family of her own with him so they got married and created me, Mikaru Hyroyuki.

Bonus : Most of the Yakuza members within the town who hadn't been at the headquarters with Noritoshi during his battle had now arrived at 12AM to see the condition of their boss's headquarters but they were shocked to see a cloaked man standing on the rubble from the destroyed building so they called out to him in anger.

" Hey you, what are you doing here !? "

As soon as he noticed them all staring at hem he turned around to see all of them in order to verify that they were indeed the Yakuza members he was looking for years ago since in fact he was the same man who had gave Yuuto and Mikado super powers when they were kids.

" Testing, testing, from this moment forward this organization will belong to me. Any resistance absolutely won't do. "

Obviously enraged that some nobody would arrogantly step up and declare himself their new leader after Noritoshi's passing one of the Yakuza members immediately shot at him using a hand gun, however he caught the bullet with his teeth proving to them that he was absolutely no joke.

Fujisaki : " Oh, I guess I wasn't clear.... Listen up ingrates you'll all obey me now !!! "

Following those words dozens of blades with wings on their handles appeared above every single one of the Yakuza members heads who were currently present.
