Dark Pit: (looks at the picture and glares at Author-chan, who is laughing herself off) What the hell is this, Tsubasa?!
Tsubasa: A picture of you happy, which you normally aren't. I figured that I would make a one-shot based on this picture or something. XD
Dark Pit: (pulls out the Dark Pit Staff) You are so dead!
Tsubasa: (stands up) If you don't like, don't read or flame about it. (pulls out a Thunder tome) ONWARD!! (starts fighting with Dark Pit)

You were in the hallway with your weapon in your hand. You had just finished a match against Dark Pit and surprisingly, you had won against him. Now you were on your way back to your dorm ready to lie down on your bed. Once you stood in front of your dorm, you began to dig through your (pocket/bag) for your room key. When you pulled it out, you were about to insert the room key into the keyhole...until you felt a hand grabbing your wrist, which made you drop the key. You turned to see Dark Pit looking at you.

"What is it, Pittoo?"
"Don't call me that!"
"Whatever. What do you want?"
"I just want to say congrats."
"Yeah right. You rarely say that."
"Actually, I want a rematch."
"Not now. I want to be in my room."
"Hmph. You're just afraid to fight me, aren't you?"
"No, I'm not. Now leave me alone, Pittoo."
"I told you to not call me that! I just want to say that I want my rematch!"
"No. And it was your fault that you missed while firing your staff."
"I just messed up my aim! That's all..."
"Really? Then explain this: why did you go easy on (y/n)?" a voice spoke.

Both of you turned to your left to see Tsubasa the dark mage with a tome. Dark Pit walked towards the dark mage and glared at her.

"What was that?!"
"I said why did you go easy on (y/n)? You don't normally do that," Tsubasa spoke with a smirk.
"That's what I was about to ask him," you spoke.
"Ooh! Could it be...that you have a crush on my friend (y/n)?" the dark mage fangirled.

Your heart skipped a beat as you began to blush hardly. You covered your face with your hands to hide it. But what you didn't notice was that Dark Pit was also blushing hard, except that he wasn't covering his face.

"N-no, I do not like (y/n)!"
"Sure you do, Pittoo!" Tsubasa teased.
"Quit calling me that! Just because she's a girl doesn't mean that I have to go easy on her!
"Riiiiight..." the dark mage casually said.
"I'm out of here!"

With that, Dark Pit stormed off angrily, leaving you and a laughing Tsubasa alone in the hallway. You picked your room key and unlocked your room door. Once you went inside, you were about to close the room door until your dark mage friend barged in like Big Bullet Bill destroying little blocks. You backed away as Tsubasa closed the door and turned towards you.

"Okay, (y/n). Be honest. Do you really like Dark Pit?"

Your heart skipped a beat. What she said about it was true. You DID develop a crush on the angel of darkness. But the way he was acting hostile towards you all the time, there was absolutely 0% chance to confess.

"Promise you won't tell him."
"I keep my word."

You took a deep breath and became red.

"Yes I do! Okay?"
"Then why can't you tell him?"
"It's hard. His attitude is what's keeping me from telling him?"
"Ouch. Pretty harsh..."
"What am I gonna do, Tsubasa?"

Tsubasa just stood there, thinking about it, until she made a playful smirk.

"I have an idea."

Tsubasa went to the bookshelf and found the perfect tome she needs.

"I'll be right back, (y/n). This won't take too long!"
"Tsubasa, wait!"

But the dark mage had already stormed out of the room, making you sweatdrop.

"Crazy girl..." you said.

Tsubasa ran out of the room and spotted Dark Pit training in the training grounds all by himself.

Found you!

She opened her tome and flipped through the pages. Once she found the spell she needed, she began to cast it on Dark Pit. He got struck by the magical spell and collapsed on the ground. Once Tsubasa closed the tome, she ran back to the room.

You were on your bed watching your favorite movie (f/m) in your room with popcorn. You were about to get to the best part until Tsubasa barged in (Sorry. Where are my manners?) and turned off the TV with a panicked look on her face.

"Tsubasa! Why did you do that?!"
"Come quick! Dark Pit fainted!"
"What?! Lead the way!"

The dark mage led you to the training grounds and pointed to where Dark Pit was. Your instincts kicked in and you rushed to his side, not noticing Tsubasa's smirking face. As you helped the angel of darkness stand of his feet, his back night hair was covering his eyes.

"Pittoo! Are you alright?"

Dark Pit looked at you and did a cheerful smile.

"Yeah! I'm okay now! Thanks!" he said cheerfully.

You were confused as you made a blank expression on your face.

Odd. He never acts like this. Did Tsubasa did something on him like casting a hex on him?

You turned to look at Tsubasa, only to see her run away. Pretty soon, you saw Dark Pit happily skipping out of the training grounds. You immediately followed him and grabbed his wrist.

"Hey, (y/n)! What's up?"
"Er...are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine! Thanks for asking!"
"Um...you're welcome?"

Dark Pit began to hug you really tight and you had a 'what-the-hell-is this' look on your face. It may be funny to see Dark Pit jump around with glee, but it was also creepy at the same time. You began to gasp for air and realized that the hug was starting to kill you.

"Pittoo...you starting to...choke me."
"Oopsies! Sorry about that."

He released from his grip and you managed to catch your breath before you could proceed. Once your condition was normal, you looked at Pittoo.

"Alright then. I'm okay now."
"Yippee! Hey (y/n), why don't we go hang out in your room?"
"Uh..."
"Of course if you don't want to, then we can go to my room and hang out over there!"

You thought about it twice. This could be a perfect chance for you to confess. But it was going to be hard to do this, especially when his (clears throat) attitude was altered by your friend's magical spell. Nonetheless, you thought about it and made your final decision.

"Sure. Let's go to my room."
"Yay! You're the best, (y/n)!"

I might have to deal with Tsubasa about this later...

Once the both of you are in your room, you just sat on the bed nervously. You looked at the angel of darkness, only to see him play around with one of your stuffed animals. You find it really cute for him to play with your white teddy bear named Fluffy. (I also have a stuffed bear named Fluffy. Inspiration here.) You smiled a little as Dark Pit plopped on the bed.

"This is really the best, (y/n)!"
"Yeah. Nice to see you happy."
"Hey, can I tell you something?"
"Oh. What is it?"
"I just want to say that I really like you a lot, (y/n)!"

You blushed a lot when he said those words to you.

"Really?"
"Yeah! The truth is that I actually admire you a lot!"

You giggled and looked at him.

"I like you too, Dark Pit. But I like you more than a friend for a long time actually."
"Really?! That's awesome! I love you too, (y/n)!"

You began to stretch and yawn quietly. As you looked outside, you noticed that it was already night, so you began to lie down on the bed. You noticed that Dark Pit also began to lie down on the bed next to you.

"I'll be sleeping with you tonight! Sounds good?"

You blushed a lot. You guess that it wouldn't hurt too much. Right?

"I don't mind, Dark Pit."
"Yay! You're the best, (y/n)!"

Pretty soon, the both of you began to sleep while cuddling each other.

Upon hearing the Cuccos' morning crow, you began to slowly open your eyes. As soon as you did, you looked up, only to see Dark Pit on top of you. He was looking at you with an evil smirk on his face, which caused you began to blush harder. As you looked at him, you realized that Dark Pit was back to his usual cold and hostile attitude again.

"Wake up, sunshine."

He then gave you a quick kiss on the forehead and looked at you.

"Why don't we find that evil dark mage and teach her a lesson?"

At the sound of mentioning your friend's name made you realized that Tsubasa did trick you yesterday. You nodded and the both of you got up from the bed and walked towards the bedroom door. As soon as the both of you left the room, you and Dark Pit ended up chasing an evil-laughing Tsubasa around the Smash Mansion for putting the both of you in an embarrassing situation.

Although Dark Pit forgot about his rematch with you, in the end, you still got to hang out with Dark Pit.
