(Kevin Rose is seen investigating a wreckage of a warehouse, then he finds a body.)

Kevin: There's someone here.

(Then he checks on him as he somehow recognizes him)

Kevin: He's still breathing... Good. But somehow I know him... Is he...

(Then he finds out who he just saved as a flashback of two kids, one of them being Kevin is seen before ending.)

Kevin: Jason?

(Then some minutes later, Kevin takes Jason to the hospital as Lex Luthor communicates with him.)

Luthor: Have you found any survivor, Kevin?

Kevin: Yes, Commander Luthor. And you won't believe it, but he is my childhood friend when we were in an orphanage.

(One hour later, Kevin is seen watching Jason as he wakes up from his coma.)

Kevin: Jason, are you okay?

Jason: (weakly) How do you know my name...?

Kevin: Jason. it's me, Kevin.

Jason: Kevin? My childhood friend at the orphanage?

Kevin: That's right.

Jason: You grew up, Kevin...

Kevin: Hehe. Same about you, my friend.

(Next day, Kevin and Jason are seen talking as they walk in the corridor)

Jason: How was your life?

Kevin: Well, since I was adopted, I got a happy family... Or at least I thought so...

Jason: What happened?

Kevin: They started abusing me and neglecting me. I had enough and ran away. Then I saw two girls running away from a bunch of bullies, racists and perverts. I helped the girls to escape and subsequently I got beaten. If it wasn't for Lex Luthor, I would be already dead.

Jason: It looks like you're a survivor.

Kevin: Yes. I am a survivor. What about you, Jason?

Jason: I was a thief until a rich man took me in, raised me, trained me and taught me how to fight for justice. But I started wanting to remove criminals, and my mentor didn't like the idea. He said that there are limits which cannot be crossed. Then we kept arguing, and I was left to die.

Kevin: Your own mentor let you die?

Jason: Yes. I was tortured by a clown. And the warehouse exploded.

Kevin: The very warehouse I found you.

Jason: Yes. I guess we're both survivors.

(Then both laugh)

(Some minutes later, Kevin and Jason see Richard Yagami doing some target practice. Richard shoots each target without missing any shot as the screen shows "PERFECT")

Richard: Yes.

(Then Kevin and Jason come in)

Kevin: Hey, Richard. This is Jason Todd. A childhood friend of mine.

Richard: I'm Richard Yagami.

Jason: I watched your target shooting.

Richard: Wanna try it?

Jason: Here. Let me show you how you truly shoot.

(Then the targets show up again. Jason waits for them to line up and then shoots the three targets with only one shot. And then the screen shows "EXCEPTIONAL")

Richard: What the...

Kevin: Now I'm impressed.

(Then some minutes later, Jason is seen wearing a red mask.)

(Meanwhile in the main room, Luthor receives a message from Batman.)

Batman: Lex. I need your Dekarangers' help. There is a drug dealer running at loose.

Luthor: Drug dealer?

Batman: He is titled as Red Hood. He also kills various criminals around Gotham. Whoever he is, he needs to be stopped.

Luthor: Got it, Bruce.

(Back to Red Hood, he is seen trying to find the inmates, but then Izuku comes in and punches him.)

Izuku: I don't know who you are nor what you are trying to do, but you will not succeed!

Red Hood: Call me Red Hood. And I am trying to clean up this city!

Izuku: What do you mean by cleaning up the city?

Red Hood: Criminals are irredeemable, just like those people from Union. This is the problem of fighting for justice, Izuku Midoriya. The fight never ends!

Izuku: And you think killing criminals will end this?

Red Hood: My former mentor tries to defeat them by fear. But what does he do to those who have no fear?

Izuku: (shocked) Jason?

(Red Hood shoots, but Yagyu defends Izuku)

Red Hood: Jason is no longer. I am Red Hood!

(Unbeknownst to them, Kevin was watching the scene and got shocked by seeing what Jason became.)

Kevin: Jason...

(Then Kevin decides to travel to Gotham, where he goes to Wayne Manor. Then he knocks the door, and Alfred opens it.)

Alfred: Yes?

Kevin: I want to talk to your master.

Alfred: About what?

Bruce: (offscreen) Let him in.

(Kevin enters and follows Bruce to the Batcave.)

Bruce: It's about him, right?

Kevin: No surprise that you found out!

Bruce: He lied to you!

Kevin: About what?

Bruce: He told you that I let him die. But the truth is that I was trying to save him from The Joker. Unfortunately I didn't come in time.

Kevin: Let me tell you something I found out. Jason is the Red Hood guy.

(Bruce suspects about it and decides to check the pictures and the results matched, much for his surprise and dismay.)

Bruce: What turned him into that?

Kevin: (walks away) This is what I will find out. With or without you!

(Then Kevin goes to an alleyway and has a vision of the young Jason stealing tires of the Batmobile. Then he hears a familiar voice.)

Red Hood: Hello, Kevin.

Kevin: (turns around) Jason.

Red Hood: So you found out.

Kevin: You lied to me, Jason. You said Bruce let you die, but he was trying to save you!

(Jason tries to shoot Kevin, but he avoids and shoots him with his blaster.)

Red Hood: Not bad.

Kevin: Emergency, Dekaranger! (transforms) Face on!

(Then they start fighting. As they fight, Kevin kicks Jason in the gut. Red Hood tries to throw some bombs at him, but Deka Blue jumps off and goes to a rooftop. Then Jason runs, only for Kevin to pin him down.)

Deka Blue: Jason, please.

Red Hood: Jason... is dead!

(Red Hood shoves Deka Blue and tries to stab him with his knife, but Kevin manages to avoid each attack and punches him before kicking him again. Unbeknownst to them, Ruby and Yang are watching the fight.)

Ruby: Red Hood and one of the Dekarangers fighting?

(Then Red Hood throws a grenade on Deka Blue, knocking him off.)

Red Hood: You think criminals like Union or The Joker deserve a second chance? THINK, KEVIN. THINK!

(The name Kevin shocks Ruby and Yang.)

Ruby: Kevin?

Yang: That's impossible!

(Kevin then gets up and they exchange shoots. But then Ruby draws her Crescent Rose.)

Yang: Ruby, don't!

(Ruby shoots Red Hood, much for Kevin's surprise)

Deka Blue: What?

(Then he sees Ruby and Yang)

Deka Blue: Ruby? Yang?

Ruby: (in mind) He remembers us...

(Then Kevin focuses on Red Hood.)

Deka Blue: Jason Todd. You are accused of drug dealing and mass genocide! Judgement!

(Then the roulette which shows "O" or "X" is seen in front of Red Hood, and it stops on "X", which means only one thing.)

Deka Blue: Guilty!

(Then Deka Blue shoots Red Hood as he is trapped in the detention card.)

Deka Blue: To think our friendship would end like this...

(At Team RWBY's dorm, Ruby remembers the time she started abusing Kevin, and then she starts crying.)

Ruby: Kevin... Forgive me...

(Yang is seen in the corridor as she sighs.)

Yang: He changed... I really doubt he will ever forgive me for all I did to him... (punches a wall) WHAT KIND OF SISTER I AM!

(Back to Lexcorp, Sienna and the White Fang are seen with Kali and Lex Luthor.)

Luthor: Welcome to the group, Sienna Khan.

(Sienna smiles as she offers a handshake. Luthor accepts it. They shake hands as the screen fades out.)
