Mushroom Kingdom

Princess Toadstool, better known as Princess Peach, has been governing the famously country known as The Mushroom Kingdom with a high level of competence. Because of this, all of the citizens, better known as Toads, were having her with high esteem over the years, and they still do nowadays. These couple of days however, the princess has been feeling burnout of all her duties, and because of this, she couldn't keep leading her people like she used to. Having enough already, Peach decided to leave everything behind and go to a well deserved vacation.

One day, she was in her room packing her briefcase for her vacation trip, but she didn't realized she left the door opened. Suddenly, someone entered her room while she was distracted.

- "Princess?" Toadsworth said.

- "Oh Toadsworth!" Peach shouted as she let the briefcase fall from her bed, scattering all her belongings around the room.

- "Oh forgive me princess!" Toadsworth apologizes as he helped her put everything back.

- "Don't worry Toadsworth. You've just startled me that's all" She replied.

- "Oh I'm glad to hear that... but may I ask... are you going somewhere?"

*Peach & Toadsworth puts the briefcase on the bed*

- "Well you see Toadsworth... I have been feeling overwhelmed with all my duties as the Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. Because of that, I've decided to take some time off and go to a relaxing vacation".

- "Oh I see." Toadsworth responded worryingly.

- "And that's why, if it isn't much of a bother to you... I want you to be in charge of everything once again while I'm gone" Peach said as she grabbed her briefcase. "Will you do me this favor".

- "Why of course I can dear princess" Toadsworth agreed with no problem. "You go and take all the time you need away from the throne. I'll make sure that everything is in place while you're gone".

- "Oh thank you Toadsworth!" Peach said happily.

- "No problem your highness. However, I can't stop myself of asking if you are going alone".

- "Not at all. Toadette is coming with me. She knows of a good place where I can spend my vacation... and also..."

Mario and Luigi's House

The Mushroom kingdom is also home of the greatest hero the citizens could ever have: MARIO... oh, and his brother Luigi. One day, as the Super Mario Bros. were doing their chores around their home, they've got visited by Parakarry, who is in charge of delivering the letters and packages around the kingdom.

- "Special letter for Mario & Luigi from the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom" he said.

Luigi got so excited that he took the letter from Parakarry and ran to the house to find Mario.

- "....... You're welcome" Parakarry said.

Meanwhile, Mario was busy trying to put a picture frame on the wall until...

SLAM! Luigi opens the door violently, making Mario fall from the ladder, and with the frame in his hands.

- "Mario Mario!" Luigi shouted excited.

- "Ouch!" Mario murmured. "What is it Luigi!? Can't you see I'm pretty busy here!"

- "Mario Mario! We've got a letter from Princess Peach!" Luigi explained, making Mario curious about what she needs.

Mario grabs and opens the letter and both of them starts reading it:

Dear Mario & Luigi:

Over these last few days, I've grown weary of my duties as a princess. Therefore, I've decided to step back and take some vacation with me. I'm pretty sure both of you need some time for yourselves as well, so Toadette and me would like to invite you to our vacation trip. We'll be waiting for you at the airport.

Peach

*Mario & Luigi looked at each other for two seconds*

Mario & Luigi started packing pretty fast and went to the airport as quickly as possible on Luigi's go kart.

Meanwhile, Peach and Toadette were waiting for them at the airport's entrance.

- "Are you sure they will come princess?" Toadette asked undoubtedly.

Peach was starting to doubt if they would actually come, only to see them coming on their go kart.

- "Look Toadette! There they are!" She said.

With their briefcases at hand, Mario & Luigi jumps out of the go kart after leaving it on a parking; they felt in front of them.

- "Mario! Luigi! You've came along!" Peach said happily.

- "I'm glad you two came!" Toadette complimented. "Now this vacation is going to be even more exciting".

- "It sure will!" Luigi responded.

- "And where are we going princess?" Mario asked.

- "Oh you will see soon enough! Quick, to the princess's plane!" Toadette pointed.

Once they've got in, they've flew away without looking back.

- "We are going to this place!" Toadette said as she showed a flyer to Mario & Luigi.

The Smoothskin Archipielago

- "The Smoothskin Archipielago?" Mario said confused as he, nor Luigi, heard about that place.

- "It is a group of islands where we can do all sorts of stuffs!" Peach explained very excited. "Toadette was in there before, and that is why I brought her with us!"

-Uuuuuuh" Mario & Luigi said at the same time.

- "Here, check this out!" Toadette said as she was turning on a tv monitor. A Pianta appeared in it and said:

-"Welcome to the tropical paradise known as The Smoothskin Archipielago! We are so happy to welcome you to our beautiful home! Come and join a wonderful wonderland, where you will visit some beautiful beaches, enjoy some well trips around our attractions, aaand, succulent sea food!"

*Mario & Luigi felt in love with the sea food*

"So what are you waiting for? Come and visit our beautiful archipielago and have an experience you will never forget!"

*End of the video*

- "Is going to be awesome let me tell you" Toadette said to Mario & Luigi, who were still thinking about the sea food.

It was then that, out of nowhere, something crashed against Peach's plane, waking Mario & Luigi out of their mental trip.

- "Aoh! What was that!?" Peach wondered panicked.

Mario looked through the window and realized that they were surrounded by dark clouds. He then saw something unexpected, but familiar at the same time. He got Luigi to look at the window, and they both knew what to expect.

Bowser, King of the Koopas, and the archnemesis of Mario, got word that the princess of Toadstool was planning to leave the Mushroom kingdom to take a vacation, along with Mario & Luigi. He disliked the idea that Peach invited both of them over him. Since he was not going to let them "get away with this" that easily, he prepared his personal airship and crew, and followed them to the archipielago.

- "Brace youselves! It looks like is going to be one of those times" Mario warned

- "Oh tell me something that I don't know!" Luigi said unimpressed, but scared at the same time.

A big door opened below Bowser's airship and trapped Peach's plane inside. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toadette were surrounded by Bowser's minions.

- "Get out very slowly!" An armored troopa demanded from everyone.

The four of them got out of the plane, having Peach in front of Mario, Luigi and Toadette. Suddenly, some strong footsteps were approaching toward them; the King of the Koopas, Bowser, let his presence be felt across the place.

- "Princess of Toadstool" he said arrogantly. "So you planned to go on a vacation without inviting me first huh? Well don't worry. I forgive you for making that mistake".

- "Bowser... I didn--"

- "That's why I came to you as soon as possible, so we can join together on this wonderful time!" Bowser added to the conversation after interrupting Peach. "So sit down and get comfortable, because we are flying to my beautiful resort in the middle of Smoothskin Archipielago!"

*Mario & Luigi jumped in front of Peach to protect her from Bowser*

- "Ah yeah... I've almost forgot about both of you" Bowser said unimpressed. "No matter, I have come prepared for the both of you. I won't let you stand in my way!"

Bowser took out a remote and pressed a red button. A small door opened below Mario & Luigi, ejecting them from the ship on the act.

- "Mario! Luigi!" Peach shouted panicked.

- "Don't worry princess! I'll save them!" Toadette said as she fell from the ship with a parachute bag on her back.

She tried to get both Mario & Luigi, but a lightning got on their way and separated them from each other. Toadette was just close enough to Mario, so she had no choice but to save him instead. Meanwhile, Bowser's airship flew away from them, directly to Smoothskin Archipielago.
