Mario Circuit

-"Welcome everybody to another season of kart racing in the Mushroom Kingdom!" a Toad said on a microphone. "We are happy to have all of you in one of the most recognizable tracks in the world: Mario Circuit!"

*The crowd applauds*

Meanwhile, the eight racers were on the way to the start line. These are the participants:

1. Bowser Jr.
2. Kamek
3. Yoshi
4. Birdo
5. Koopa Troopa
6. Toad
7. Baby Luigi
8. Baby Mario

Baby Mario and Baby Luigi were driving to their assigned positions... unfortunately, it was just when Bowser Jr was passing by.

-"Hahahah!" Bowser Jr. laughed. "To think that both of you ended way behind everyone else. Me on the other hand, i'm all the way on the front because, guess what? I'm better than everyone else in this place right now. Be sure to not cry when you see me as the #1 victor, hahaha!"

He then drove directly to his place, leaving Baby Mario and Luigi with an angry face. Although they knew they would compete against each other, they were on the same terms with the following: beating Bowser Jr!

Meanwhile, Bowser Jr. was having a conversation with the racer behind him: Kamek

- "You know what to do" Bowser Jr told to Kamek, who nodded back at him.

- "All racers, prepare to race!" The Toad announcer said.

Every racer started their karts and prepared for the Lakitu to give the signal.

THE RACE HAS FINALLY START!

The first five karts in the front started with a advantageous boost. Baby Mario got a good boost as well, but Baby Luigi and Toad weren't so lucky.

It was the first lap with Bowser Jr. Kamek, Yoshi, Birdo, Koopa Troopa, and Baby Mario in the front. Baby Mario had Koopa Troopa in his front and was looking to pass him. However, the Koopa wasn't going to let him without a fight. He grabs an Item Block that gave him a Green Shell. He then throws it at a wall, which made it bounce to another wall and viceversa. Baby Mario paid enough attention to the shell and managed to avoid getting hit hy it, while taking an Item Block as well. He also gets a Green Shell and hits Koopa Troopa with it, making him lose control of his kart; Baby Mario manages to pass Koopa Troopa and gets in the 5th place.

Birdo was next on line. She quickly noticed Baby Mario and starts shooting eggs at him; Baby Mario starts to drift left and right to avoid getting hit. While at it, he manages to get another Item Block. From that Item Block he gets a... Banana Peel ?? He throws the Banana Peel and falls right on Birdo's way, making her kart spin on the act. He managed to pass Birdo and gets on the 4th place.

He now had Yoshi on his front. Yoshi gets an Item Block and gets three green shells from it. Baby Mario gets one as well, but while he waits for the item to pop, he had to avoid getting hit by Yoshi's green shells. After avoiding them, the item finally pops, and it was something way better than the Green Shells themselves,: a Red Shell. Baby Mario throws it right at Yoshi, who desperately starts to drift left and right to avoid it. Unfortunately for him, the Red Shell travels directly to the driver it has on front, so Yoshi at the end gets hit, giving Baby Mario the 3th place.

Bowser Jr, Kamek, and Baby Mario were the first three to finish the first lap, followed by Yoshi and Birdo. Luigi and Toad were still the only two losing racers.

- "This is really fun, right Baby Luigi?" Toad asked happily.

Baby Luigi doesn't answer and remains upset.

Second Lap:

Baby Mario was eating both Bowser Jr. and Kamek's tail.

- "Uumm master... we have a problem" Kamek said while looking at Baby Mario.

- "What!?" Bowser Jr. shouted while looking back. "Wha!? Grrrr... you know what to do Kamek".

Kamek nodded at Bowser Jr. while taking his wand out. Using his magic, Kamek started popping items, without the need of an Item Block.

- "is this allowed?" The Lakitu asked the Toad with the microphone, who had no idea what to say.

Baby Mario started avoiding every green shells and banana peels that Kamek threw at him. While at it, Baby Mario grabs another Item Block and took an odd item out of it: a Chain Chomp! He threw the Chain Chomp on the track, all while holding the chain tightly; the Chain Chomp increases Baby Mario's speed. Kamek gets a panic attack before getting crushed by the barking mascot, forcing him to forfeit the competition.

- "Oooooh! Kamek got crushed out of the race! The Toad announcer said with enthusiasm.

- "Grrrr!" Bowser Jr. growled as he finished the second lap, followed by Baby Mario, Yoshi and Birdo.

- And then I told Toadette 'look I really like you, but I don't like when you steal my video games just to make me a prank', and blah blah blah" Toad kept talking to Luigi, who was bored of his mumbling.

Final Lap:

The race was between Bowser Jr. and Baby Mario.

- "Teeheehee! I can handle you myself pretty easily" Bowser Jr. said as he pushed a button located on the middle of his steering wheel.

A monitor appeared on Bowser Jr.'s kart, which was made to give him an item without the need of an Item Block. The monitor gave Bowser Jr. a shell with spikes, similar to the one he and his father have. He grabs it and throws it at Baby Mario. After throwing it, the shell got super big, which shook Baby Mario for a moment. He successfully dodges the shell, but he lost some speed in the process.

Bowser Jr's monitor gave him another item: a Bullet Bill Cannon. He attached it on the rear of his kart and started shooting at Baby Mario. Baby Mario avoided getting hit by many of them, but it came to a point where he couldn't use this same strategy any longer. Therefore, he decided to bet everything on the last Item Block that he grabbed on the way. He was sweating at the fact of what item would come first, but more importantly, if it was going to turn things around..........

"Just what I needed..." Baby Mario said silently.

Baby Mario got a Power Star! He immediately absorbed it and started to sparkle away, pushing every Bullet Bill out of his way. He managed to beat Bowser Jr.'s strategy and bounced him out of the race.

- "Waaaaaah! Bowser Jr. yelling from the distance.

- "And the winner is: Baby Mario!!!" The microphone Toad yelled happily.

Everybody in the audience started clapping at Baby Mario, who was waving at his fans while holding the trophy.

Meanwhile, Baby Luigi and Toad were the last two reaching the finish line.

- "aaaaawww... Too bad Baby Luigi" the Toad said sadly. "But hey, we can always race again sometime. We can even share the same kart as best buddies".

Baby Luigi screamed of annoyance and ran as fast as he could from Toad.
