The day finally came! The day of the 12th annual Mario Party! I was so excited, I couldn't sleep! I waited impatiently for my alarm clock to reach 9 am. When it finally did, I sprang out of bed!

Me: Yes! It's here, it's here! Mario, Luigi! The days finally here!

I ran into Mario and Luigi's room to wake them up.

Me: Hey, sleepy heads, get up!

Unfortunately, they didn't budge.

Me: Ugh! Can you guys get up? The Mario Party starts in 30 minutes!

Mario got up, but Luigi didn't.

Me: *Sigh* LUIGI, GET UP!!!!

I yelled in Luigi's ear to force him out of bed. Of course, he got out in a start. Mario gave me a stern look.

Me: What? It's not my fault he's lazier than you are.

Mario: *Sigh* What's the rush?

Me: Have you checked your calendar? It's the day of the Mario Party, it starts in 30 minutes!

Mario: 30 minutes? Luigi, we gotta go!

Luigi (dizzy): Oh...what did you say, Mario? I think that yell made me deaf.

We went to where the party was, at the Mushroom Park. Peach invited a lot of people such as her best friend, Daisy, Rosalina, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Wario, Waluigi, and others.

Daisy: Hey, guys!

Peach: I'm glad you could make it.

Mario gave a sharp glance at Wario.

Mario: What are you doing here?

Wario: What? It's a party, I can't go?

Peach: Relax, Mario. Everyone's here to have fun.

Mario: Oh, okay.

Toad: Well, what're we waiting for?

Daisy: Yeah! Let's get this party started!

Me: I feel you, girl! Let's bring the house down!

Just as the party was about to start, Bowser came.

Bowser: Mind if I join?

Me: What the what? Bowser, what the heck are you doing here?!

Some of us surrounded the princess to protect her.

Mario: If you want to kidnap Peach, you'll have to get past us first!

Me: Yeah, that's right!

Bowser: No, listen, chumps, I came to join the party, not ruin it for you. Kamek here saw what was going on and told me, so I decided to bring my minions and kids to the party.

Me: Um...

Luigi: Are you sure about that, Bowser?

Bowser: Yes, I'm sure, Green 'Stache! Jr. was all "Papa, can we go to Mario's party?" And I was like "Nothin' better than a good party." (holding out his hand) C'mon, Mario, truce! Trust me.

Mario was reluctant to do so, but he agreed anyway.

Mario: *Sigh* Fine. Truce!

He shook Bowser's hand in agreement. Though it was hard to believe he agreed to this.

Mario: But I'll be watching you, mister.

Bowser: Great, you won't regret it!

The party started and Peach was about to give out instructions.

Peach: Okay, everyone, there will be a few changes because we got some unexpected guests. Everyone will be in groups of 4, and there will be one group of 3. Okay? I'm going to partner you up now. Remember, whoever is you're with stays with you.

She grabbed a list of groups, it read:

Peach, Daisy, Wario, and Koopa Troopa

Goomba, Yoshi, Waluigi, and Rosalina

Mario, Bowser, Krisalyn, and Luigi

Boo, Diddy Kong, Kamek, and Donkey Kong

Toadette, Toad, Hammer Bro, Bowser Jr.

Shy Guy, Dry Bones, Blooper.

Mario: What? 

Bowser: What?

Peach: Any questions?

Mario raised his hand.

Peach: Yes, Mario?

Mario: Do I have to be with Bowser?

Peach: Mario, I read the list, that's what it said. Any other questions?

No response.

Peach: Good, now we can start the party. Have fun!

Me: Okay, guys, what should we do first?

Mario and Bowser were giving sharp glances at each other.

Me: Can you guys just be nice? I know you both hate each other, but this is a good opportunity to get together. *Gasp!* Act Out Your Own Story! Let's do it!

We went to our first activity.

Bowser: Okay, now what?

Me: How 'bout we come up with our own stories. Everybody think!

We were all thinking about what stories to act out.

Luigi: Hey, how about "Super Luigi!"

Me: I was gonna do my style of "Super Mario Bros" but, we don't have Peach on our team, so that's out. Anyway, what's this idea of yours, Luigi, buddy?

Luigi: This would be my chance to be Player 1! So you see, Bowser kidnaps my bro, and I have to save him! He'll be all like, (in deep voice) "Luigi, save me from Bowser!" I-I can't imitate Mario very well. Then I'll be like, "Okie-dokie!" And then we go save him from Bowser and then-

Me: Okay Luigi, we get it. You guys think that's good?

No one else agreed.

Mario: I don't wanna be kidnapped by this spiny butt!

Bowser: Who you callin' spiny, fatty!?!

Me: You literally asked for a truce, Bowser.

Bowser: I never said I wanted to be with him!

Me: Sorry, man, rules are rules.

Bowser: Ugh, I hate rules.

Me: You know what, let's do something else, this isn't gonna work.

Luigi: Aw, man.

Me: Sorry, Luigi. You had a good idea.

We went to find something else to do.

Me: Hey, we could get on the dance floor!

Mario: Dancing sounds good!

Bowser: Yeah, I'm the best dancer!

Luigi: Yay! Dancing!

We went to the dance floor, it was a lot of fun! I had the most energy at that time, a lot of people were there and groovy music was playing. But, Mario and Bowser didn't seem like it, Mario kicked Bowser's foot.

Bowser: Ouch!

Mario: Whoops!

Bowser: Hey, you did that on purpose!

Mario: So what?

Bowser shoved Mario.

Mario: Hey! Not fair, Bowser!

Bowser: I don't do fair, Mario!

They continued tackling and injuring each other. The fight kept going for most of the time we were there.

Me: *Sigh*

Afterwards, Mario and Bowser were covered in bruises.

Mario: This is all your fault!

Bowser: Me? You started it, it's your fault!

Mario: No, it's yours!

Bowser: No, yours!

Me: Guys, c'mon!

We searched for another activity to do.

Luigi: Hey, look! Rafting!

Me: Sure, let's do that. Hopefully everyone can relax, this is a day to have fun!

We went to do some river rafting, unfortunately there were only two rafts for what Peach had planned before Bowser joined.

Me: Well, I guess it's two people in each raft.

Although, the rafting didn't go too well, Mario and Bowser were fighting again.

Bowser: Cut it out, will you?

Mario: Me? It's you who needs to stop!

Me: Guys, can you stop fighting?

Mario and Bowser were strangling each other, which caused Mario to fall off the raft.

Bowser: HAHA! How does it feel to get washed up, plumber!

Mario (spitting water out): Ha, ha. Very funny, Bowser.

Luigi: I wish they would have fun.

Me: I know, right?

After the rafting, we went to find something else to do.

Me: Having fun?

Mario and Bowser: No!

Luigi: Bro, maybe you should stop fighting with them. Ooh! Fun House Mirrors!

Me: Okay, sure!

We all went to check out the mirrors, they were really cool!

Me: Check it out, my body's gone haywire!

Luigi: Looky, I'm tall!

Bowser: Why am I upside-down?

Mario: Because these are fun house mirrors, stupid!

Bowser: I'm not stupid, you are! You look like you gained 60 pounds!

As they continued fighting (again), me and Luigi looked at each other, awkwardly.

Me: Let's play a game.

We went to play some games at the Game Center.

Me: Please just relax guys, I've been waiting for this day all week!

We spend several hours in there, I heard Mario winning games.

Bowser: Mario, this is the 8th time I've lost to you!

Mario: What can I say? You always lose to me. Looks like it's not only battles, but games as well.

What Mario said made Bowser furious.

Me: Uh, Bowser, are you alright?

Bowser grew into a monstrous size.

Bowser: That does it! I'm through with this lousy party!

Me: Bowser, chill, bro!

Bowser grabbed Mario and destroyed a lot of places at the party.

Mario: Hey, what's wrong with you, Bowser? Luigi, help me!

Bowser: Shut up, Mario!

Me: Are you kidding me? It's "LarryBoy and the Fib from Outer Space" all over again! C'mon, Luigi! We gotta stop him before he destroys the whole party!

Everyone was watching Bowser cause trouble.

Peach: What's gotten into Bowser?

Me: I think he's mad at Mario. They were fighting all day, and I guess he decided he's had enough!

Daisy: Not cool, Bowser! We're s'possed to party until we drop!

Me: Let's take him out, Luigi!

We tried fighting with Bowser to stop him, that partially worked. I took a deep breath and gabbed a bow and arrow.

Me: Bowser, I didn't want to do this, but you made me.

I shot the arrow in his butt, he yelled in pain and dropped Mario.

Luigi: What was that for?

Me: To bring him back to normal.

Bowser returned to normal size.

Bowser: Man, that hurt.

Mario: Mama Mia, my head...

Me: I hope you two learned your lesson.

Bowser: Fine, fine. I don't even like this lousy old party, anyway. Let's go, minions.

Bowser left the party, but then we took a look around the park.

Peach: This is terrible, he wrecked everything.

Daisy: Aw man, I was hoping for a better day.

Mario: Me, too.

Me: Guess we've had a lot of excitement, today. Man, I'm tired.

Peach: Everyone, I'm really sorry. I have to postpone the party due to what just happened.

Luigi: Aw.

Mario: That's reasonable, Princess.

Me: Let's go home guys. Mario, you and I need to talk.

Just like that, the party was over.
