Back in the present Mario Luigi Peach and Daisy were walking through the mushroom kingdom

Daisy: Mario aren't you excited? Your wedding is coming up soon!

Mario: I am! Everything is almost ready and we have a plan to stop the koopalings just in case

Peach: I still have to pick out a wedding dress-

Suddenly a boat fell out of a warp pipe

Luigi: what the?

Peach read the words on the boat

Peach: Venice Pizza Delivery?

Mario: What's a Real World gondola from Venice Italy doing in here?

Luigi: Yeah I thought Mario and me were the only pizza gourmets in the Mushroom Kingdom! What's going on?

Peach: Only one way to find out guys! Ask!

Daisy: Oh right!

Gondolier: Call the police-ia! Call the marines-ia! A sea monster is attacking my beautiful-a Venice! Mama mia! Francis Sinatra! John DiMaggio!

Luigi: Oh I love to hear people speak my native tongue!

Daisy: it really is a beautiful language

Mario: Hey, slow down paisano! There's no sea monster in Venice!

Gondolier: There is a now! It's scaring all the people out of the city! Venice will die!

Mario: Not Venice!

Gondolier: See paisano! Soon there will be no one left! Ceasar Augustus! Christopher Columbus! Anitupu Dicello!

Daisy: Uh... you lost me at 'left'

Gondolier: my home is a doomed!

Daisy: that I got!

Mario: This is terrible! Venice, Italy is my favorite city! Next to Brooklyn USA.

Peach: Why's that Mario?

Mario: it's filled with history and amazing places to see! I always wanted you to see it

Luigi: same here!

Peach: Well if you both feel that strongly we must go to Venice right away and save it from the sea monster!

Daisy: hold on peach! Mario Luigi and I will go while you find a wedding dress!

Peach: what? I can't just stay behind

Mario: we'll be back before you know it!

Peach: alright I trust you

Mario: but don't show me the dress until the wedding! It's bad luck

Meanwhile Bowser Jr and Wendy were traveling in the doomsub underwater

Junior: If those pesky plumbers try to use this warp pipe to Venice my giant cheep cheep's eat them! so we can keep scaring all the humans out of Venice!

Wendy: Yeah and when Venice is empty we can warp it back to the Dark Lands for my very own Wendy water park!

Junior: this better not turn out the same way when you tried to take over America

Wendy: I promise big brother! I've completely changed!

Junior: yeah sure whatever

The doomsub went into the warp pipe then Mario Luigi and Daisy arrived

Mario: plumbers log number 51 Luigi Daisy and I are going to stop a sea monster in Venice but I have a feeling Junior is behind this

Luigi: Hey that's the warp pipe to Venice!

Cheep cheep's swam out of the warp pipe

Daisy: we have company and not the good kind!

Mario: Look at all those cheep cheep's I was right! Junior must be up to something in Venice! We've gotta stop him!

Luigi: yeah before these fish stop us!

The three of the started to fight off the cheep cheep's

Mario trapped the first one cheep cheep in coral

Daisy got the second cheep cheep stuck in a tube

Finally Luigi swam out of the way from a rock making the last cheep cheep hit it hard

Luigi: nice swimming you guys! Remind me never to challenge either of you to a game of underwater horseshoe!

Daisy: I don't think that's a real sport but I would love to play it!

Mario: now Into the warp pipe! Venice needs us!

The three of the enter the warp pipe and head to Venice

Back in the mushroom kingdom castle toad and toadette were helping peach pick out a wedding dress

Toad: are you sure I should help with this?

Toadette: Yes! You're one of peach's closest friends! Not just her subject!

Peach: alright I'm ready

Toadette: let's see it!

Peach walked out of the big closet wearing this dress:

Peach: what do you think?

Toad: it looks great princess!

Toadette: I agree! Do you like it?

Peach: yes but I just want everything to be perfect

Toadette: you don't have to pick the first dress! Try on more!

Peach went back in the closet to pick another dress

Meanwhile Mario Luigi and Daisy made it to Venice. They were dressed as gondolier's

Daisy: Wow I see what you mean Mario! This place is pretty

Mario: I told you! and With these gondolier disguises we can sneak up on junior if you can keep your frog in your pocket

Daisy: Huh?

Mario: that's a figure of speech

Daisy: Oh got it!

Mario: Hey you feel what I feel?

Luigi: Yeah tired! Junior's last plan was yesterday!

Mario: No no! I'm talking about something in the Venice air! Something that reaches a Mario Brother's soul!

Daisy: since when were you a poet?

Luigi: yeah we've never been here in Venice before how could our souls get reached?

Mario: I don't know. But I'll tell you one thing I'm gonna solve this mystery before we leave and peach is going to love it here

Daisy noticed two statues that looked like Mario and Luigi

Back in the mushroom kingdom castle peach was almost done putting on her next dress

Toadette: are you ready?

Peach: I am now

Peach left the closet and was now wearing this dress:

Peach: how does this one look?

Toadette: it's beautiful!

Toad: Very princessy and you're a princess!

Peach: I know but Mario doesn't love me because I'm a princess. He loves me for me. I want to find a dress that will show that

Toad: that's so sweet!

Toadette: of course we can keep looking!

Meanwhile Mario Luigi and Daisy were ambushed by the sea Monster

All: Whoa!

Luigi: It's the sea monster!

Mario got a closer look and realized it wasn't a sea monster at all

Mario: That's no sea monster! That's the doomsub!

Daisy: hey remember when bowser had a similar plan?

Luigi: yes and it was terrifying! RUN!

Mario Luigi and Daisy started running away. Bowser Jr and Wendy were still in the doomsub

Junior: Those spoiled plumbers got through my trap!

Wendy: If they stop us from getting Venice for my very own Wendy koopa Water Park the only word you'll hear from me is tantrum!!

Junior: They won't startle us! We'll startle them!

Mario Luigi and Daisy jumped into a speedboat and got away

Mario: Let's see junior catch us now!

Daisy: I would have a bunch of these if Sarasaland had any rivers! Move over Mario I'm taking the wheel!

Luigi: what?!

Mario: good plan!

Daisy sat in the drivers seat and made the speed boat go even faster but the doomsub was catching up

Back in the mushroom kingdom castle peach was trying on her third dress

Peach: maybe this is the dress I'm looking for

Toadette: you know what they say! Third times the charm

Peach walked out of the closet wearing this dress

Toadette: it's so pretty!

Toad: the bow is a nice touch to!

Peach: I agree but it's a little similar to the last one

Toadette: well there's plenty more to look through!

Toad thinking: why do I have the feeling we're going to be here awhile?

Meanwhile Mario Luigi and Daisy escaped from the doomsub

Mario: That doomsub's been laundry blinded! It'll crash for sure!

Daisy: I wish I could see that happen!

Luigi saw the doomsub heading straight for them

Luigi: you will! Because it's going to crash right into us!

Mario: This is not time to be Italian Luigi! Be Polish!

Luigi: polish?

Daisy: that's a language?

Mario grabs a pole from the water

Luigi: oh I got you now Mario!

Luigi and Daisy each grabbed a pole to and used them to vault out of the away right when the doom sub crushed

Daisy: and we stick the landing!

Back in the mushroom kingdom castle peach was trying on her final dress

Peach: I think this is it!

Toadette: let's see!

Peach walked out of the closet wearing her wedding dress which will be revealed at the wedding

Toad: wow you're right it is perfect!

Toadette: you look beautiful your highness!

Peach: thank you. I can't for Mario and everyone else to it

Toad: you know toadsworth mentioned that dress was your mother's for her wedding

Peach: really? I didn't know that...

Toadette: your uncle and aunt were at her wedding to!

Peach: ... my what?

Toadette: oh you must not remember him telling you this

Meanwhile the doomsub started flooding because of the crash. Bowser Jr was holding the door closed

Junior: Hurry with that emergency welding kit! The doomsub won't hold much longer!

Wendy ran up to him with a big tube of glue

Wendy: Just because you're drowning doesn't mean you have to yell!

She squirts to glue onto the door until there was none left

Wendy: Good thing you brought me along instead of my stupid brothers!

Bowser Jr tried to move but he was stuck

Junior: what the?! You glued my shell to the door!

Wendy: Well nobody's perfect!

Back with Mario Luigi and Daisy they hadn't gone back to the mushroom kingdom yet

Luigi: Hey with Junior sunk Mario shouldn't we have gone right back to the Mushroom Kingdom?

Daisy: do we need to check to make sure he's still here?

Mario: that's a good point but first We're gonna get a good night's sleep and then find out what mysterious something pulls us to Venice like water is pulled down a drainpipe

Daisy: you know I did see two statues that looks like you guys

Mario: really? That's probably it!

Later that night the three of them were sleeping in a hotel but chain chomps ate the pillars making it fall into the water

Luigi: *yawn* Huh?

He looked out the window and saw a fish

Luigi: Hey hello little fish... Fish?!

Daisy: Luigi? What are you doing up?

Luigi: We're sunk!

Daisy: wait what?!

Someone knocks on the door which wakes up Mario

Mario: I'll get it!

Luigi and Daisy: don't open-!

Mario got up, opened the door and all the water flooded in but he didn't even flinch

Mario: I must be having a nightmare

A bunch of hammer bros started attacking them

Mario: Ah! I'm awake now! We gotta get on that doomsub and stop Junior from sinking Venice!

Daisy: I'm going to enjoy destroying that thing!

Mario Luigi and Daisy snuck into the doomsub without bowser Jr or Wendy noticing

Wendy: Can't we warp Venice to the Dark Lands now? I wanna brag to my brothers that I have my very own Water Park and they don't!

Junior: be patient Wendy! Soon Venice will be all washed up!

Mario Luigi and Daisy got out of there hiding spot

Mario: You'll be all washed up long before Venice Junior

Daisy: you better know how to swim!

Junior: it's you guys again! I'll pulverize you! I'll-

Mario: I get the message!

Junior: Just Give up plum scum! You'll never make it!

Mario: Oh yeah? Never say never!

Junior and Wendy ran towards the three of them but they just stomped on there heads and made it to the controls

Mario: Let's warp this sub outta here!

Daisy saw a big red button

Daisy: this must do something!

Mario and Luigi: No wait-!

Daisy pressed the button and they all swam out of the doomsub right before it teleported back to the dark lands

Mario: that was surprisingly easy

Luigi: I'm not complaining!

The next day Gondolier showed Mario Luigi peach and Daisy around Venice

Gondolier: Venice is safe! Oh Lou Albano! Al Pacino! Frederick Capenene! As a gesture of my thanks I'm gonna show you my favorite statue!

He pointed to the statues that look like Mario and Luigi

Daisy: those are the statues I saw earlier

Gondolier: Meet Marco Polo's plumbers! They brought plumbing back from China and made Venice what it is today!

Peach: They sure look familiar. Must've been distant relatives of Mario and Luigi!

Luigi: Well that would explain why Venice is our second favorite city!

Mario: And why we're the best plumbers in the Real World and the Mushroom Kingdom!

Peach: you're not the only one who discovered more about your family.

Daisy: what do you mean?

Peach: Daisy is your mom queen cinder right?

Daisy: Uh yeah why?

Peach: my mother is queen harmony!

Daisy: what does she have to do with this?

Peach: your mom and my mom are sisters!

Daisy: w-wait what?!

Mario and Luigi: whoa...

Peach: that makes us cousins! We're family!

Daisy: No way!

Peach and Daisy hugged each other

Daisy: I don't believe this! We were family this whole time and I didn't even know! Why didn't my mom mention she had a sister? Maybe she did and I wasn't paying attention but it's still great! Peach it's like I'm meeting you again for the first time! Wait does that make sense?

Peach: yes and I know how you feel!

Mario: I'm starting to see the family resemblance

Later that night in the dark lands junior was trying to come up with a new plan

Junior: we've tried everything! Yet we can't beat them!

Ludwig: the only one who even got close was dad!

Junior: ...wait a minute! That's it! KAMEK!

Kamek appeared out of nowhere

Kamek: yes bowser Jr?

Junior: is there a way to bring dad back from the dead?

All except Junior: WHAT?!

Junior: imagine us working with dad! Mario and his friends won't stand a chance!

Kamek summoned his spell book and read through it

Kamek: Hmm... bringing Bowser back isn't impossible but he'll be like a dry bone

Wendy: daddy will be made out of bones? Ew!

Roy: you want dad back or not?

Wendy: yes I do!

Kamek: then I will get started right away!

Kamek disappeared into thin air

Junior: Get ready Mario... your wedding day... will be your last!
