Morton walked closer to Luigi with an evil smirk on his face.

"L-leave me alone!!" Luigi said.

"You're coming with us, Coward!" Morton replied. He threw the ball at Luigi.

"NO!!!!" Lightning used Quick Attack and ran in front of Luigi.

Lightning was about to attack the ball with Iron Tail but the attack was too late as the ball hit her forehead. She was dragged into the ball.

"NO!!! LIGHTNING!!!" Luigi shouted.

The ball hit the ground and shook once then again. The ball stopped for a second before it roared to life shaking and jumping until it opened up. Lightning escaped the Ultra Ball.

Lightning shook her head, turned around and saw Luigi. "Luigi, are you okay?"

"L-Lightning? Lightning!!" He quickly got to his paws and collapsed to the ground beside her back into his Eevee form. He hugged her as tightly as he could. "I'm okay now..." he replied, tears in his eyes. "I-I thought you were gone."

"Don't worry I'll always be here. I always want to be with you." Lightning told him.

Luigi attempted to hold back the urge to cry but he wasn't able to completely stop as a few more tears fell.

"Aw.. How cute..." Morton teased, clearly not interested.

"Don't just stand there you idiots!! Get them!!" He ordered Larry the Glaceon and Lemmy the Jolteon. Larry and Lemmy both looked at each other and back to Morton. They nodded at him and approached them.

Lightning and Luigi both stood up.

Lightning used Thunderbolt on Larry. Luigi used Shadow Ball on Lemmy.

Larry used Blizzard, hitting both of them. Lemmy used Thunder. Lightning counted the Thunder with Electro Ball. Luigi used Bite on Larry. Larry didn't look too happy about it so he used Ice Beam. Luigi was hit hard. Lemmy used Thunderbolt on Luigi But Lightning quickly pushed him out of the way and took the hit.

"Lightning!!" Luigi shouted, rising to her side.

Lightning quickly got back up. "I'm fine... Don't worry."

Luigi sighed in relief. "Thank goodness."

A large Ice Beam and Thunder attack was heading towards them. Mario used Fire Blast to counter them.

"Thanks Mario." They replied.

Mario smiled. Suddenly Mario was shocked by a Thunderbolt.

"Mario!" Luigi yelled.

Mario glared at Lemmy. He used Swift and Lemmy was attacked by a bunch of flying stars.

"Hey Mario, I think you learned how to use Swift." Lightning told him.

"Oh that's what I've been using. Cool!" He replied, happily.

"Hey, I've got an idea. How about we use their strategy against them?" Tidal asked.

"Oh, yeah!" Mario and Luigi replied.

"Let's do it!" Lightning answered.

The group stood beside each other as they all charged up an attack.

The Eeveelings stared at them with wide eyes. "No! Wait! That's not fair!" They protested.

"Really?! Not fair, huh?" Lightning growled.

Mario used Fire Blast.

Luigi and Eve used Shadow Ball.

Lightning and Riley used Thunderbolt.

Yoshi used Dragon Tail.

Tidal used Flash Cannon.

Iggy The Leafeon. Larry the the Glaceon. Morton the Umbreon and Lemmy the Jolteon all attempted to run from the attacks but they failed and with great force were sent up into the sky.

"Looks like those Eeveelings are blasting off!" Luigi remarked.

"Eeveelings?" Mario questioned.

"Yeah... Has a pretty good ring to it, don't you think?"

"I guess you're right, Bro."

Lightning giggled. "Come on everyone, we should continue."

Luigi yawned. "I'm getting tired. This battling thing is making me sleepy."

"I agree Luigi, but we have to continue until we find some shelter." Lightning replied.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's a go!" Luigi responded. "I would really love to find shelter and fast. I wouldn't want to run into anymore trouble today."

"Me too, Luigi." Lightning said.

"How much longer is it going to be until we find another cave?" Luigi complained.

"I don't know yet, Luigi. We just got to keep going until we do." Lightning replied.

"B-but it's almost dark..." Luigi mumbled. "I-I hate the dark. That's when all the scary creatures come out..."

"I won't let anything hurt you Luigi. I promise."

"That's nice of you Lightning, but I don't want anything to hurt You either. I never want to see you get hurt. I-I l-"
Luigi shook his head.

Suddenly, Mario, who was in front of them halted. He walked towards the large pond  by them. "What is that?"

"What did you find, Mario?" Lightning asked.

Mario didn't reply and jumped into the water.

Lightning, Luigi and the others waited for Mario to come back up. He had been down there for a while and Lightning and Luigi were starting to get worried. Lightning jumped into the water and didn't see Mario anywhere. She swam back up.

"Did you see him?" Luigi asked.

"No... I don't know where he is."

Suddenly a blue creature jumped out of the water and onto the small land in the middle of the water. He turned to them and smiled. The sea Pokémon was wearing Mario's clothes. Mario had evolved into a Vaporeon for what he found was a Water Stone.

"Mario!!! You're alive!!!" Luigi said, sighing in relief.

"Hehe!! Don't be silly Luigi. I'm fine." Mario replied. "I found another stone and I went to check it out. Then I evolved into this creature."

"You must have found a Water Stone Mario. You are the water type Eeveelution, Vaporeon."

"He looks like that Eeveelution that grabbed me." Luigi said.

"Yes. That's because he's the same Pokémon." Lightning replied.

"Oh. That makes sense. Anyways, Come on Mario. Stop messing around and get back over here. We need to find shelter before it gets dark." Luigi told him.

"Alright, I'm coming."

Suddenly, Mario spotted three purple mists fly up from behind Luigi.

"Luigi... What's that behind you?" Mario questioned.

"Oh cut it out, Mario. Are you trying to scare me?" Luigi asked, unconvinced.

"No, Luigi. I'm serious. There's something behind you."

Luigi turned around only to see nothing. He turned back to Mario. "Very funny..."

At that moment, the purple mists returned and surrounded him.

Luigi gasped. He looked around for a chance to escape but he couldn't find none. "Help!!!" He cried.

"Luigi!" Lightning walked towards him only to be pushed away with great force into the water.

Mario jumped back into the pond and back up to the other side. Mario was also pushed back.

The purple mists then revealed themselves to be three Gastly. Luigi screamed in utter terror. They were closing in on him. "You're ours now, Luigi! What are you going to do? You can't save your friends from us now can you?" One of the Gastly taunted.

Luigi charged up a Shadow Ball.

"Awww!! Isn't that cute! He thinks he can stop us again." Another one of them taunted.

The others laughed their horrible booish laughter that haunted him.

At that moment, a larger purple mist revealed to be King Boo the Shiny Gengar.

"Oh no!!! It's him again!!" Lightning responded in terror.

"Surprise, Fools!!" He said.
