"Come on, I can do this. I have to save the Bros. They need me." Lightning thought.

While Lightning was stuck in her thoughts. A Wartortle used Rapid Spin behind her.

Luigi gasped. "Lightning, look out!!"

"Huh?" She turned around to see a spinning shell heading towards her. She gasped in surprise before she quickly jumped over it to dodge. The Wartortle didn't stop until he hit a tree trunk.

"Thanks Luigi!" Lightning told him.

"No problem" Luigi replied.

"Lightning Focus!!" Mario shouted at her.

Mario was right. She had to focus on the task at hand, but she hoped the brothers would be okay. She knew Wendy wasn't messing around when she said she would hurt the brothers.

Lightning turned to see the Wartortle slowly get back up and glared at her.

The Wartortle used Water Gun. Lightning dodged and used Thunderbolt. The Wartortle dodged and ran towards Lightning. She waited until he was close enough before she used Iron Tail. She slapped the Wartortle across the face and used Electro Ball to finish him off.

The other Squirtles and Wartortles were in pursuit after her. Lightning used Thunderbolt again on half of the group. She only had 2 dozen left.

The remaining water type Starters all used Water Gun at once. She attempted to use Thunderbolt to counter the attack but it didn't work too well. Lightning was hit by the attack as she slammed right into a tree.

Lightning collapsed to the ground.

"Lightning no!! Don't give up!!" The brothers shouted.

Lightning slowly got to her paws. However, it was too late as two Wartortles grabbed her.

She struggled to escape their grasp. "Let me go!!" She shouted. "Nyah...." she used Thunderbolt. The two Wartortles soon let go of her.

They backed up from her and quickly recovered from the attack. Suddenly, a random Thunderbolt struck them. She turned to see Riley.

"Riley!! You're not giving up on the brothers either? Even if we know they're human?"

"Of course, I'll never ditch my friends." Riley replied.

"YOSHI!!" Yoshi said happily.

Tidal and Eva stepped forward. "We're all here to help." They replied.

"Thanks guys" Lightning smiled.

Together the group continued fighting off the minions until they were finally defeated.

"What!! You defeated all the minions!!" Wendy said. "You're going to pay. You are all going to pay!"

Wendy turned to the brothers. "Forget the Pikachu. We have our main targets. Let's go! We'll take care of these idiots later."

"No! We're not letting you take them away." Lightning growled. "Don't worry guys, we won't let them take you to Yveltal we promise."

"You guys can do it!" They replied.

"Alright, I had enough of you two talking." Wendy growled in annoyance.

She was about to attack them with Dazzling Gleam But Lightning didn't want that to happen. She used Electro Ball on Wendy. Wendy turned to Lightning and growled. "You little fool!" She used Moonblast But Lightning dodged the attack and used Thunderbolt.

Riley helped Lightning by using Focus Blast on Wendy. Wendy used Dazzling Gleam on Riley. Riley was blinded by a white light. Lightning used Iron Tail on Wendy.

Tidal used Flash Cannon. Wendy used Moonblast on Tidal. Tidal dodged and used another Flash Cannon. Riley's vision returned and he used Thunder Wave. Wendy was now paralyzed.

"I think we can finish her off, Lightning. You go help the brothers." Tidal said.

"Got it" Lightning nodded.

"Lightning!!" The Brothers responded happily.

Ludwig The Vaporeon and Roy the Espeon growled at her. "Come any closer and we will hurt them."

Lightning struck Roy with Iron Tail to the face. However, he still held on to Mario.

"We warned you!!" Roy growled using Psychic on Mario.

"No!!" Lightning shouted, using Thunderbolt on Roy. Roy dropped Mario.

"Mario are you alright?" Lightning asked.

"I'm fine, but we have to save Luigi." Mario answered.

Mario and Lightning stepped forward towards Ludwig. "I don't think so. I will attack him again and this time I'll poison him and I'll make sure he isn't healed from it."

"I don't think so, Ludwig. Let my little brother go or you will be sorry" Mario growled.

"I don't think that will work Mario. You can try but it might end up with Greenie being poisoned." Ludwig replied.

Lightning's cheeks started spitting sparks with anger. "You let him go right now!!"

"I don't think so. You try and shock me and I will use Toxic."

Mario looked at the condition Luigi was in. The poor Eevee didn't look too good. Mario then glared at Ludwig with anger.

"How dare you treat my brother like this. I won't stand for it." Mario then charged a Shadow Ball at Ludwig and released it. Luigi was freed at last as he fell to the ground.

"Luigi! Hold on bro..." Mario replied.

Ludwig got back up to his paws and glared at the brothers. He was going to  use Toxic. "No!!" Lightning shouted, tackling Ludwig to the ground. "I won't let you poison them!!"

"Get off of me you pest!" Ludwig yelled. He used Toxic on Lightning.

She collapsed to the ground now poisoned.

"No!!!" Mario and Luigi shouted.

"Hahahaha!!! I warned you!!" Ludwig replied.

"Lightning, hang in there!" The Brothers replied.

Luigi glared at Ludwig. "You monster!! Why would you do this to her!"

"Luigi... be careful.." Mario warned. "You're in no condition to fight." However, no one seemed to listen to him.

"She brought it on herself. That was meant for you two not her. Speaking of which maybe you should join her." Ludwig replied to Luigi.

Luigi used Shadow Ball to keep him from using Toxic. He quickly took his Thunderstone out and evolved into a Jolteon.

"Luigi! No!" Mario shouted. "I don't want you getting worse."

"I'm fine Mario." He said walking past him. "Just go help Lightning."

He used Thunderbolt on Ludwig.

Mario sighed. "Luigi... Please be careful..." he then walked to Lightning's side.

Mario gave Lightning a Pecha Berry. "Here Lightning." Lightning opened her mouth to take a bite out of the berry. She slowly got to her paws. "Thank you Mario."

"It's not a problem at all. You did the same thing for Luigi earlier and you did save us both from being poisoned." Mario replied.

"Where's Luigi?" Lightning asked him.

Mario sighed and pointed to Luigi as a Jolteon fighting Ludwig.

"Come on we have to help him." Lightning said.

Mario and Lightning walked towards Luigi and Ludwig until they were then suddenly attacked by a random Psybeam. Roy the Espeon blocked their path.
