Luigi and Lightning walked cautiously through the forest. Luigi trembled. Lightning stopped and put a paw on his shoulder. "Don't worry you'll be fine. We have each other." She told him.

Luigi looked in her amber eyes and cracked a small smile.

Suddenly, Luigi heard something moving. He jumped and bumped into Lightning's side. He backed away. "O-oh I-I'm sorry I-"

"It's okay. Don't worry about it." Lightning told him.

Lightning grabbed his paw. "Come on. Just stay by my side and you'll be f-" She was then distracted by a bush rustling.

"Fine?" She finished. They saw two blood red eyes starring at them. The eyes were getting closer. The Dark creature grinned as he approached them. Luigi his behind Lightning. The creature cackled darkly. They knew that laugh anywhere.

"King Boo, I thought we took care of you." Lightning said, boldly.

"No, we always come back you know. You can never truly defeat us. That little coward behind you may have stopped me a couple times. Talk about lucky, but not this time. You two would look great on my wall and your pathetic big brother, Mario, cannot help you."

"Why can't you just give up, you know we'll defeat you again." Lightning said. Luigi pushed Lightning back.

"Don't imagine that I'll flee... I'll fight you like a true Boo!" King Boo remarked. He grabbed Luigi and threw him against a tree with great force. King Boo still held on to him. Luigi glared at him, attempting to hide his fear as he tried struggling to get out of his grasp. King Boo's crown atop his head began to glow purple. "Say goodnight!!" Before, he could do anything Lightning used Thunderbolt as King Boo was struck. King Boo released Luigi as he fell to the ground.

King Boo turned and glared at her. "You arrogant fool!!!"

"Lightning, run!" Luigi screamed.

Luigi got up to his paws and attacked King Boo from behind with Iron Tail.

King Boo growled at Luigi and used Sucker Punch with great force that he is knocked into the air and hits a large rock.

Suddenly, a blinding white light surrounded him. He has evolved into the Leafeon for the rock he hit was covered with moss. Luigi got to his feet. He noticed that his body was now tan and his paws were brown. He had several green sprouted leaves on his body.

"I evolved?" He thought.

"You're a Leafeon. The grass type Eeveelution." Faith told him in his thoughts.

"A Leafeon? Well that makes since" he thought as he pawed the large leaf that stuck out from under his hat.

"Luigi!!!" Lightning cried, bringing him back to reality.

Luigi noticed that King Boo was holding on to Lightning with Psychic. Her cheeks were spitting sparks. She was attempting to use Thunderbolt on King Boo but she was having trouble.

"Lightning!!!! W-what do I do? What do I do?"

"Luigi, try using Razor Leaf. Wave your tail around and leaves will shoot out at the opponent." Faith told him.

"Okay. Come on I can do this. Hold on Lightning!!!" He cried. He waved his tail as instructed and leaves shot at King Boo. He let go of Lightning as she landed on the ground on all fours and ran to Luigi's side.

"Thanks" She told him.

"No prob-" suddenly, King Boo shot a Focus Blast at him. He was hit but he wouldn't give in as he shook it off.

"Luigi, are you alright?" Lightning asked.

"I'm fine. We just have to keep going. What if he gets Mario again?" Luigi asked.

Meanwhile, Mario was sitting in the cave. He looked outside of the cave concerned. "What is taking them so long? They've been out there for too long." He asked. "Oh no, what if something bad has happened to them? Maybe I should check on them" he then ran out of the cave into the dark forest.

Mario ran ahead until he heard voices. He peaked behind a bush to see Luigi, Lightning and King Boo.

"Come on you can do this. I know you can." Mario whispered. Suddenly, he heard a small booish crackle behind him. He turned to see a Gastly.

"Oh if it isn't Super Mario" he taunted.

The Gastly dove at him with a surprising speed with bite but Mario quickly dodged him. "Boonswoggle..." Mario said.

"How did you know?" The Boo laughed.

Mario didn't answer as he shot a Shadow Ball at him but the attack missed. "Nice try, but not good enough." Boonswoggle, then dove down again to try and bite at Mario. This time it was a hit as Mario was knocked back out of the bush and right into the battle.

"Mario!!! What are you doing here?" Luigi asked.

"I came to make sure you two were okay." Mario answered.

"Aww!!! Isn't that sweet, Mario does care about you" King Boo taunted.

"Of course I do."

"It doesn't matter anyways because you'll all be mine soon." King Boo cackled as he approached them.

"Not if I have anything to do about it" Lightning ran towards him with Iron Tail, But King Boo attacked her with Focus Blast. She slid across the ground right into a tree and landed on her side.

"Lightning no!!!" Mario and Luigi cried in unison.

Luigi glared at King Boo. "That's it!! I'm sick of you hurting my friends and taking my brother from me it's over!!!" Without thinking, Luigi ran towards King Boo.

"Luigi, wait!!!" Mario warned.

King Boo smirked as he watched and waited for the perfect moment to strike his archenemy. Unbeknownst to  them they were being watched from above in the tree Lightning hit.

King Boo finally found his opportunity to hit Luigi as he shot a Focus Blast straight at him, unable to dodge in time Luigi was struck. Luigi collapses to the ground.

"Bwahaha!! Finally I've got you" King Boo cackled with delight. "You will pay for what you've done to my friends, you little fools."

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a small creature leaped out of the tree and attacked King Boo with Iron Tail from behind. "What the..." he turned around to see a small Pichu with a green scarf. "And Who are you supposed to be?"

The small Pichu didn't answer but instead attacked with a Thunderbolt. The attack also hurt the Pichu in return but she shook it off.

"Hey, do you know who you're messing with kid?" King Boo told the Pichu.

The Pichu used another Iron Tail on him. King Boo used Sucker Punch But the Pichu dodged and used a barrage of electro balls. It was getting more and more irritating for King Boo. "I have enough of this. I'll deal with you later when I have some backup with me." With that, King Boo vanished.
