"Come on, Weeg, please wake up. It's dangerous to be sleeping in a haunted mansion" Mario told his brother.

Luigi still didn't wake up.

"Luigi, wake up or I'll- I'll.... Tickle you! I know how much you hate being tickled but if you don't wake up, you leave me no choice" Mario told him. Still nothing.

"Okay, you asked for it bro" Mario began tickling Luigi as he jolted awake with laughter. 

"Stop Mario stop, please!" He begged as he laughed.

Mario stopped tickling him. "Took you long enough" he giggled.

"Where are we? What happened?" Luigi asked.

"We're in the Mansion. Y-"

"What? We're in the Mansion! I- I'm so sorry, Mario! I-I didn't mean to fall asleep like that especially in the place you usually get captured in" Luigi interrupted, sullenly.

"No, no Luigi. It's okay. It wasn't your fault. A Boo attacked you. I'm just glad you're okay" Mario said.

"I'm glad you're okay, Mario! I thought the boos would have gotten a hold of you again" Luigi told him.

"Oh I'm fine. How's the bite you've got from the Boo? Can I see?" Mario asked. Luigi sat up and slowly raised the paw that was bitten by the Boo. "It looks like it'll leave a mark but I'm sure it'll heal" " Mario told him. "Anyways, come on, let's keep going. Lightning still needs help, Bro."

"Of course" Luigi replied as he stood up.

                                                                                    ***

Lightning laid down in the cage, wincing in pain and having a coughing fit from the Psychic taking the breath out of her.

"Now, will you talk?" King Boo asked. 

Lightning slowly got to her paws and glared at King Boo, sparks coming out of her cheeks. "I told you! I'll never... Tell you anything that will help you catch them... Hit me with your best shot... You'll never get through me..." she coughed. 

"You really are stubborn, aren't you?"  King Boo cackled. "This is quite fun! Watching you sacrifice all your energy for those pathetic friends of yours. It's... terrific." He gave Lightning a menacing stare that made her quiver. He picked her up and squeezed her again with Psychic.

Lightning gritted her teeth before screaming in pain again. "Help!!" She cried, struggling to get free. He only started squeezing her tighter. "Ahhh!! You're hurting me! Please stop! Let me go!" 

"Not until you tell me what you know" King Boo tells her. "Now, are you ready to talk, pest! You better tell me the answer I want to hear this time!" 

"Y-you will never break me.." she replied, weakly.

"Wrong answer, Pikabrat!!" King Boo stated, before making the Psychic stronger.

Lightning winced in pain before losing consciousness. King Boo finally let go as she collapsed to the ground.

"Good night, Pikachu. Maybe a good night's sleep will make you think more properly." King Boo laughed maniacally. "In fact maybe a Nightmare will make you talk. Don't you think so my Boo friends?" The Gastly Agreed.

"Now witness my true power!" King Boo's crown began to glow. Lightning was struck by a purplish light.

                                                                      ***

Lightning opened her eyes groggily. "What happened? Where am I?"

She took in her surroundings, realizing that she was still trapped in the mansion by King Boo in a cage.

"Ah... Look whose finally awake and at the perfect time too" King Boo told her. 

"Lightning!" She could hear the brothers calling her name and the sound of their chains around their paws and necks. She turned around to see Mario and Luigi, both beaten up and out of shape.

"No! Mario! Luigi! Are you guys okay?" She turned to the Boo. "What have you done to them?" She asked. 

"Oh nothing much, at least not yet" King Boo answered. He gave Luigi a dark menacing stare as he floated towards him.

Luigi quivered. "P-Please d-don't come any closer!"

"Oh, how long have I been waiting for this moment to finally get revenge for all the trouble you two caused me and my fellow boos and as for you Luigi.  Now I can finally punish you for capturing all my friends! Bwahaha!!" King Boo laughed. "I love the smell of your fear, boy, now you will finally feel my wrath!"

"I-I''m s-sorry! P-Please don't do this" Luigi stuttered.

"It's too late for apologies, Green Stache!" He teased as he came closer to him.

"Stay away from my brother, you creep!" Mario shouted.

"Shut it, fool!" King Boo snapped.

"No! Don't hurt him! Leave him alone!" Lightning cried, but it was no use. There was no way to stop the giant ghost from doing what he was about to do.

King Boo used Psychic on Luigi as he was taken up in the air and he began squeezing the air out of him.

"Stop!" Lightning and Mario cried in unison.

King Boo let him go as he collapsed to the floor unconscious.

Mario knelt down to him. "Luigi..." he cried in sorrow.

"You monster! Luigi didn't do anything! He was innocent! How could you do this to him!" Lightning cried, tears in her  eyes.

""That's What he gets for attacking my friends!" King Boo replied.

"Luigi..." Lightning sighed in despair" You will pay for this!" She growled.

"No one hurts my friends!" She added, sparks coming out of her cheeks.

Lightning's eyes bursted open. She took in her surroundings as she realized, "it was just a dream. Oh thank Arceus!" She sighed in relief. She looked up. "I won't let anything bad happen to you. I promise I'll protect you! King Boo will surely pay if he hurts any of you."

                                                                          ***

Mario and Luigi were still fighting off the boos together until they heard Lightning's cries again. "Help!!" She cried. "Ahhh!! You're hurting me! Please stop! Let me go!"

"Stop it King Boo, whatever you're doing to Lightning. You better stop it, or you'll be sorry!! Leave her alone! Stop tormenting her and stop hurting her!!" Luigi yelled with anger as he ran ahead. "As soon as we get to you! You're going to get it, because no one messes with our friends!!" 

"Luigi wait for me!" Mario said as he ran to catch up with his little brother.

Suddenly, Luigi ran right in front of a certain Haunter. As soon as he saw him, he skitted to a stop and almost jumped out of his skin. "B- Boolossus" he stuttered.

The Haunter laughed. "Now, look what we have here... the scaredy cat and the hero" 

"I am not a scaredy cat!" Luigi yelled. 

"You sure do fit the role of a scaredy cat" he teased.

"He isn't, Boo. I know my brother more than you and he  isn't what you think he is. He's strong and will do anything for me and his friends. He has become a great hero and I know that by heart." Mario replied.

"Can it, Red! We've caught you plenty of times, we can do it again!" Big Haunter said.

"Not while I'm here, you're  not!" Luigi retorted. 

"You two better give up while you still can or you're little Pikachu friend gets it" Big Haunter argued.

"Where is she and what is King Boo doing to her!" Luigi asked.

"It's none of your concern. She's the King's prize now and she's staying with us!l" He answered.

"No she isn't, because we're here to rescue her" Mario said.

Big Haunter laughed. "Not this time you won't be!" 

Mario was picked up by a Psychic attack. 

"Mario!!" Luigi cried. "Let my brother go!" He charges a Shadow Ball. 

"Try to attack me and you're heroic brother of yours gets it!" 

Luigi looks in his brother's eyes. "Mario!"

"I-I"Luigi stuttered.

"Luigi, don't listen to him. He's trying to get under your skin." Mario told him. Big Haunter tightened his grip on Mario.

"Mario!" Luigi cried, his heart beating faster. "I-I... Can't" The Shadow Ball disappeared.

Big Haunter laughed hysterically. "I knew he wouldn't attack if his big brother was on the line.. Now I've got you, fool!" Big Haunter was about to attack Luigi with a Focus Blast. Luigi closed his eyes tightly. 

Before he could attack Luigi, a certain Pokémon flew out of his scruff and used a Dazzling Gleam on Big Haunter. Luigi was trembling and sobbing quietly as he didn't notice that Klefki saved him. Mario hit the ground and ran to his brother's side. He patted his back. "Luigi, it's okay. We're safe now. Klefki saved us." He said softly. 

Luigi looked up as soon as he heard Mario's comforting voice. "M-Mario? Mario!!" He cried, hugging his brother, as he started crying  tears of joy. 

"It's alright, Bro. I'm here. Just calma down" Mario replied.

"You guys should go on ahead I can deal with him." Klefki told them.

"If you say so, just be careful" Luigi told Klefki as he wiped the tears out of his eyes.

"Come on, Luigi, I don't know what King Boo is up to but it probably isn't good. We need to save Lightning before King Boo does anything to her." Mario told Luigi.

Another chapter so I've decided that since Leafeon and Jolteon are the most hottest choices in the voting section, Luigi will be evolving into both. Read Faith the Eevee if you don't know what I mean. Basically Faith is an Eevee who can evolve into all the Eeveelutions and evolve back into an Eevee, now what if Luigi had that same thing but can only evolve into Jolteon and Leafeon... Also the chapters will be longer because we're already in Chapter 20 and I have a long way to go before this story is finished. At this rate, there will be 45-50 chapters or more in this story.
