Mario and Luigi headed to downtown Brooklyn to fix the plumbing.

Pauline: thank goodness your both are here! Can you fix this?

Water blasted out of the manhole in front of the police

Mario: of course we can but they're looking in the wrong place. Come on!

Mario opened another manhole where the water was going down

Luigi: you are not seriously considering-

Mario held his breath and jumped in

Luigi: Mario!

Pauline: now it's our turn Luigi!

Luigi: but your not a plumber!

Pauline: I want to help you guys and Brooklyn even if that means I have to jump down a manhole

Pauline held her breath and jumped down the manhole

Luigi: why is she usually right?

Luigi followed her

Mario luigi and Pauline landed in the sewer

Mario: we have to get to that pressure wheel!

He pointed to a wheel across the pipe

Luigi: Mama Mia...

Pauline: we're right behind you!

Mario: wait what are you doing here?! It's dangerous!

Pauline: i don't care! I want to help!

Mario nodded and the three of them climbed across the pipe but the it broke causing them to fall

All: AHHH!!

Mario Luigi and Pauline broke through a brick wall and fell into a different tunnel

Luigi: Ow... I knew saving Brooklyn was a bad idea...

Pauline: we just broke through a brick wall... How are we not hurt?

Luigi: are you complaining?

Pauline: No it's just odd

Mario: come on let's look for a way out

They walked down the tunnel and saw a lot of big pipes. Luigi looked at a green one

Mario: looks like nobody's been down here in years

Pauline: pipes aren't usually this big right?

Mario: more like never

They both heard luigi drop his wrench and then he was gone

Mario and Pauline: Luigi?

Mario and Pauline checked the pipe Luigi was in

Mario: Luigi are you in there?

Pauline: we have to stick together!

Suddenly they were both sucked in the pipe

Mario and Pauline: AHHH!!!

Pauline looked around and there were pink clouds everywhere

Pauline: whoa

Mario and Pauline saw Luigi ahead of them

Luigi: MARIO! PAULINE!

Mario: Luigi!

Pauline: We're coming!

They both got close enough to grab Luigi's hand

Mario: it's all going to be ok!

Luigi: how is it going to be ok?!

Pauline: it will be I promise!

Mario: we're telling you nothing can hurt us as long as we're together!

Luigi smiled but he lost his grip and went into a different pipe

Mario and Pauline: LUIGI!

The two of them landed a forest full of mushrooms. Pauline looked around and was couldn't believe what she was seeing

Mario: Ow...

Pauline: Mario you might want to take a look at this

Mario looked around and also couldn't believe it. He went to touch a blue mushroom but toad stood up from behind it

Toad: Do not touch that mushroom you'll die!

Mario got scared and stood back

Toad: Wait I'm sorry that one is perfectly fine

Pauline: what are you?!

Mario: that's a mushroom man a little mushroom man talking to us!

Toad: pleased to meet you I'm toad!

Mario: Uh Mario

Pauline: P-Pauline

Toad walked ahead of Mario and Pauline and they caught up to him

Mario: so this is not a dream?

Pauline: if it is how-

Toad hit Mario with a stick

Mario: Ow!

Toad: that hurt right?

Mario: yes!

Toad: definitely not a dream

Pauline: why didn't you just pinch him instead?

Toad: the stick was more effective

Mario: and this place is?

Toad: the mushroom kingdom!

Pauline: don't you hate mushrooms?

Mario: yep. This is a cruel twist of fate. Look uh toad we're actually looking for someone my little brother he looks just like me but tall and skinny and green

Toad: so he's younger then you but taller

Mario: yes...

Pauline: your jealous of Luigi being taller then you aren't you?

Mario: I am not!

Pauline: if you say so

Mario: look the last time we saw him he was falling through a pipe it was foggy and had lava

Pauline: it honestly looked like hell

Toad: *gasps* that is not good. Your brother has landed in the dark lands. They're under... bowser's control

Mario and Pauline: bowser?

Toad: he's the most evil creature alive! He just destroyed a kingdom called sarasaland and took Princess Daisy prisoner. I'm taking you to see the mushroom kingdom princess. She can do anything!

Mario: princesses?

Pauline: that's a lot to process...
