Last chapter, things went haywire all across the Mushroom Kingdom and Yoshi's Island. The Boos were released to cause their final mischief. Everyone was pretty entertained for a while. Now we'll see why....

"Well, Luigi, you feeling better?" Mario asked his brother while repairing a door.

"Yeah... Please don't remind me the amount of coins I have to pay... Ugh...." Luigi replied, thinking of the coins he owed for everything​.

"Don't worry, we'll pay that fast!" Mario assured Luigi, and just then, Toad came running to them, scared.

"Mario! Luigi! I got really bad news!" Toad yelled.

"Huh? What is it?" Mario asked.

"The princess has been kidnapped! But there's something wrong..." Toad said.

"We weren't at the castle?" Luigi asked.

"No! There were no security guards nor police around! And they have been recently patrolling the Castle!" Toad explained.

"Oh... Umm... When did you find out that Peach was kidnapped?" Mario asked.

"Just now!" Toad replied.

"And if some minutes ago I was fighting Luigi..." Mario trailed off as je thought.

Luigi was also thinking, and snapped his fingers as he got an idea of what was happening.

"You know, apparently some Boos attacked at Yoshi's Island using Yoshis, and that Boo that lead the big attack here possesed me!" Luigi said confidently.

"Ok... I know all that." Mario replied.

"So, the most probable answer is that the Boos were distracting me, you and Yoshi so Bowser could kidnap Peach!" Luigi figured out. Wouldn't have taken a detective, but everything seemed so messed up after what happened.

"Yeah, that's it! This was but a distraction mission... We need to get going!" Mario said.

"Wait, we're going to Bowser's Castle?" Luigi said, not feeling ready.

"Of course! Let's a go! If we find Yoshi through he'll come with us!" Mario replied, and dashed off. Luigi followed behind.

"Good luck guys!" Toad waved as he saw them take off.

Meanwhile​, on Gray Wood Forest*, Yoshi was in the middle of it, tied up and guarded by a Koopa and a Para Troopa...

"Agh! Someone! Help!" Yoshi cried out, in hopes that someone would hear him.

"Don't you even try escaping!" The Koopa said as he approached his spear he had in hand to him.

"Umm... You know this is just to bring the Mario Bros. So they kidnap Yoshi, along with themselves." The Para Koopa said, looking at Yoshi and then his spear.

"Wait, what? Why can't we just take Yoshi ourselves and then come again for the Mario Bros.?" Koopa asked, dumbfounded.

"What do you think I know? I guess that's why we brought the Boos with us." Para Koopa replied, pointing to a rock, where Rubert Boo and Benard were hiding.

"Well, as long as it works... Sheesh." Koopa rolled his eyes in annoyance.

Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi dashed off to Bowser's Castle, but they have seemed to encounter the curious forest.

"Hey... What is this place?" Mario stopped as he saw the sign that said Gray Wood Forest.

"I don't know.... Maybe it's property of Bowser?" Luigi asked.

"And, it has the trademark Bowser World feel, coincidentally it's also in the outskirts of the Mushroom Kingdom." Mario said.

"Well, if it's a shortcut, I'll gladly take it!" Luigi said, and Mario agreed. Then, the Bros. Entered the forest.
They walked for minutes, till they heard someone calling for help.

"Hey, someone's here!" Mario said as he heard the calls.

"Someone! Help!..." Yoshi continued calling, and in the faint, limited View of the forest, he saw Mario's cap.

"Do you see anything yet?" Luigi asked, looking around.

"Nope, nothing..." Mario said as he saw Yoshi between everything. "Wait! I see Yoshi! Follow me!"

Koopa heard the footsteps as Mario and Luigi fast approached.

"Alright! Time to go! See ya at the Castle Rubert and Benard!" Koopa said and he and Para Koopa left. Yoshi looked puzzled. There wasn't Anyone around. Just then, the brothers arrived.

"Guys! You found me!" Yoshi said as he sighed in relief.

"Yup! Now, how did you get captured anyways?" Mario asked, untying Yoshi.

"Well, some Koopas knocked me out, and I think they took me here..." Yoshi explained.

"Well, don't worry, you're safe now." Luigi said, as Yoshi thanked him.

"Now, where are you heading?" Yoshi asked.

"Ah, we're going over to Bowser's Castle! Peach has been kidnapped, and we're going to rescue her!" Mario told Yoshi.

"Great! I'm going with you guys!" Yoshi said confidently.

"Ok, I get Mario, you get Luigi!" Rubert Boo told Benard, and dissapeared.

"Alright..." Benard agreed and dissapeared as well.

"Well everyone! Let's a go!" Mario said, and dashed off.

"Time to get the Princess!" Yoshi said, as in front of him Rubert Boo appeared.

"Want to visit early now?" Rubert said menacingly.

"Ahhh!!! I'm not getting possesed by you again!" Yoshi said and moved to a side.

"Don't worry you fool! You aren't my target today!" Rubert exclaimed and flew off.

"Surprise!" Benard said as he surprised Luigi from behind.

"Ahhh!!!" Luigi jumped and ducked in fear.

"... I tried my best." Benard thought out loud.

"Well, I didn't choose our targets!" Rubert Boo said.

"Doesn't matter. Let's just get this over with." Benard said and with that, they got into Mario & Luigi.

"Guys! Are you okay?!" Yoshi said and approached the Bros, who just stayed looking at the ground.

"Why Yes! Why do you ask?!" Mario said and in a sudden move, he attacked Yoshi.

"Gah!! What the?!"

"Don't worry little buddy, we'll be heading to Bowser's right now!" Luigi said.

"Yeah, but why attack me?" Yoshi asked, and then it hit him. "Wait! It isn't you guys! You're possesed!"

"Alright, that wasn't so hard to figure out." Benard said through Luigi, but with his (Benard's) voice.

"Just knock him out you fool!" Rubert said and threw a rock at Yoshi's head.

"Get over-" Yoshi managed to say as the rock hit him. "Here... Gah...." His vision went blurry, and he fainted.

"There! Presto! Now, Let's take him back." Rubert said, and both grabbed Yoshi, and left.

Later, they arrived in front of Bowser's Castle. Sure enough, this was a shortcut to him.

"Wha?! What happened?!" Mario said suddenly as he was free from Rubert's control.

"I don't know! Why is Yoshi on the ground?!" Luigi said, completely disoriented.

"Yoshi! Answer me bud!" Mario said as he looked around, but soon noticed he was just knocked out.

"Who did this?!" Luigi asked, and right in that moment, Benard appeared, followed by Rubert Boo.

"You did this! Ha ha!" Benard said.

"Exactly! You k'oed Yoshi! And we're taking ya'll to Bowser himself!" Rubert said and laughed menacingly. Just then, 5 Hammer Bros. Arrived and surrounded our heroes.

"What?! Don't think you'll get away!" Mario growled as hammers fell on both Bros., knocking them out to the floor.

The Boos laughed as they commanded the Hammer Bros to take away the trio.
