Thousand upon thousand of gems destroyed in the conflict including one of the leaders of gemkind, Pink Diamond.

After learning of her demise, the rest of the Diamond Authority decided to obviate the Rebellion,

Some got away through the Galaxy Warp,

A handful survive the blast

But others................

Weren't so lucky.

Homeworld left and the leader of the Rebellion, Rose Quartz, with the few gems she managed to save from the light went to rest and finally live free of danger as well as the control of the Diamonds.

If any gem was looking they would of spotted something coming to Earth.

During the war a wormhole opened up

Out of it came a meteorite that was direct course for Earth, entering it's orbit

Then the meteorite smash through the earth's crust bringing to a underground cave system with the surface clasping upon itself sealing away the hole that was made. Everything was in complete silence say for the meteorite humming and dimly glowing
