Mario and Luigi were on their way back home from the party when it happened.

Luigi started to feel uneasy as they walked as he grew more cautious of his surroundings. Mario seemed to notice Luigi's behavior. "What's wrong?"

"I-I... Don't know... I just..." Luigi mumbled.

All of a sudden, a purple aura appeared from behind Luigi and it began to grow in size.

Mario saw it and became worried. "Um... Luigi!"

Luigi turned around just in time to see King Boo appear. He screamed in terror and backed away to Mario's side, petrified.

"Surprise!!!" King Boo shouted. His new purple crown on his head started to come to life. A purple portal materialized from behind him and then he picked Luigi up with his psychic power from his crown and threw him into the portal. "...And goodbye!!!"

"Luigi, no!!!" Mario cried.

King Boo only laughed in response as he went into the portal and closing it before Mario could jump in.

Mario landed on the ground, missing the portal as it closed.

"No!" Mario repeated, punching a fist down on the ground in frustration. "I have to do something! I can't just sit here and let King Boo harm my little brother... But how...?"

In the Pokémon Universe:
Luigi landed on the ground face first. "Owww..." he put a paw to his now aching forehead. He pulled away, realizing he had brown paws. He looked at his reflection in a puddle nearby and saw that he was an Eevee again.

"I'm an Eevee?!" He then went into a realization. "King Boo must have thrown me into a portal to the Pokémon world. But why? And what about Mario?"

He suddenly gasped in alarm. "Oh no! Mario could be in danger! This is probably an act of sabotage so I'm away from Mario... or..." he stopped when he saw the portal open again.

"Mario?" He questioned. He only hoped but to his dismay, it was King Boo as a Shiny Gengar. "Wrong answer! Guess again, fool!" He remarked, as he broke into a high-pitch booish laugh.

"Ahhhh!!!" Luigi screamed again and began running for his life, darting out of the way from King Boo. "I have to find Lightning, she'll know what to do... I hope I can reach her in time before King Boo reaches me instead...I don't want to risk getting caught..." he thought.

King Boo was reaching him fast so Luigi tried picking up the pace with Quick Attack. However, the opposing Shiny Gengar had other tactics up his sleeve. He began to fire a barrage of peculiar purple Thunderbolt attacks at Luigi in hopes to hit him in order to slow him down. Luigi dodged them by running to the opposite sides of the attacks and also trying to avoid small rocks that would make him trip and trees that he could run into.

King Boo's Thunderbolt attack even managed to strike a tree and almost made it fall right on top of him but he managed to jump over it and continue running.

He was getting closer to the Pikachu Village. He was almost home free but he only had one problem. He didn't notice a gaping ravine was up ahead of him and down below was a raging river. He was completely oblivious of the dangerous obstacle as he looked behind him to see King Boo still hot on his tail instead of what was in front of him. When he finally noticed what he should have been more concerned about from the start, it was too late. He ran right off the edge and fell right into the raging waters below.

He tried fighting the strong current in order to keep his head up from the water but it proved to be difficult with his already weak paws. He coughed up some water in the process and struggled to breath.

"Help!!" He tried yelling, hoping that someone close by would hear him. 

Luckily for him, he wasn't too far from Lightning's home village. Her large ears heard his cries from a few feet away. The current was pulling him towards her direction.

"That voice... No... it can't be... could it?" Lightning ran towards the ravine and looked down into the river. She gasped at what she saw. "Oh Arceus!!! Luigi!! Hold on!!!"

She ran to a group of Pikachu nearby. "Please, we have to help him!! Quickly!!"

"No Lightning! It's too dangerous!!" Thunder told her.

"Dad please!! If we don't hurry, he'll drown!!"

"Uhhh!!! Fine!! Everyone!! Form a Pikachain. Together we'll pull him out!"

Lightning and the other villagers climbed a tree nearby and jumped down into the lake below one by one grabbing each other's tails in the process. Lightning grabbed Luigi as the other Pikachu began pulling them back up the tree.

Once they were all safe. They shook themselves dry and Lightning hugged Luigi tightly. "Thank Arceus you're okay..."

"Thanks to you, Lightning... and the Pikachu Villagers as well..." Luigi replied. "Y-you really saved my life back there... Thank you!"

"It's not a problem... I'm glad you're okay...But what are you doing here?"

"Well... King Boo managed to escape again... of course...and he threw me into a portal that brought me back here..." Luigi explained.

"But why?" Lightning asked.

"I don't know I'm questioning the same thing. But you have to help me. Is Klefki still around?"

In response, Klefki floated over from the sound of her name. "You called?"

"Yes!" Luigi nodded. "Please, you have to help me get Mario here."

"Got it!" She obeyed, taking her Mushroom Kingdom Key out and opening the portal.

Lightning could have sworn that she saw Mario's human form through the portal and trembled in fear— all thanks to her fear of humans—but she quickly relaxed when he jumped in and transformed into an Eevee.

"M-Mario... It's good to see you again" she told him, still a little scared of seeing him as a human.

"You too, Lightning. You good?" Mario asked, noticing that she was trembling a little.

"Y-yeah.. I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

Mario nodded and turned to his brother. "Thank goodness you're safe, Luigi." Mario sighed in relief. "It's lucky that you found Lightning."

"Well... Actually, I was looking for her but... she kind of found me at the nick of time... I- I could've drowned if she didn't rescue me." Luigi responded.

"Oh! Mama Mia, what happened, bro?"

"It's a long story I-I really don't want to get into detail right now... Let's just get out of here before he finds us..." Luigi shivered. "I'm just glad you're okay too."

"Yeah... But... Sadly, I forgot to get our evolutionary stones..." Mario sighed.

"That doesn't matter. The only thing that matters right now is that you two are safe. Besides, you're in the Pokémon world now, I'm sure you'll find replacement stones." Lightning explained.

"I guess you're right." Mario complied.

"Come on guys. We can't stay here for too long. King Boo would eventually find us here and attack us. We got to get moving." Lightning said. "Let's get to the village. We'll talk more once we get there."

"Right!" the brothers agreed in unison.

Meanwhile, at the Pikachu Village, Lightning and the brothers were getting settled in and catching up with Lightning. "So... What have you two been up to in your world?"

"A lot has been going on lately in the Mushroom Kingdom. It's been kinda rough..." Mario sighed. "Especially to Luigi..."

"What do you mean by that?" Lightning asked, her head tilting to the side in curiosity.

"Well... you see. We now found out that King Boo had an ally. A fan girl to be exact. She owns a hotel that she called the Last Resort Hotel." Mario began.

"Last Resort?" Lightning questioned to herself out loud.

"Yes." Mario nodded before continuing, "You could tell she really was crazy about him. She probably had the world's largest King Boo memorabilia collection. She really admired him a lot and tried to impress him by plotting this plan to help King Boo capture all of us—including Luigi—in paintings. But, of course, it failed and Luigi managed to escape through a laundry chute and later on he found the Professor's new and improved Poltergust G-00 with his ghost puppy, Polterpup guiding him. He went through all 15 floors in the hotel to save the three Toadstools that traveled with us, the Princess and me. However, King Boo has gotten even more angry and ruthless and even seems to want to kill him at this point, knowing that he will keep getting fouled by him each time."

"That's terrible! I hope we can stop him once and for all!"

"I hope so too. But he'll probably never give up so easily."

"No one ever really does..." Lightning sighed. "Also what's a laundry chute and a hotel and a Poltergust???"

Mario shook his head. "I'll explain it to you later... but how have you been? Anything interesting going on here lately?"

"Meh... the usual... Stopping criminals in and around Poketown with the Starter Squad. That's pretty much it."

"Ah... I see... not much happening. Boring.." Mario sighed.

Lightning giggled. "Heh... agreed."

Lightning turned to Luigi who was sitting under the large Oak tree in the middle of the village. "Hey Luigi. You've been rather quiet. Are you okay?"

Luigi looked up, almost startled by Lightning. "Oh.. Y-yeah... sorry I just have a lot on my mind right now.. I don't mean to concern you if I seem a little off-kilter."

"It's okay. Don't worry about it, I understand. You've been through a lot lately, haven't you?" The female Pikachu asked.

Luigi didn't reply, he only nodded.

Lightning and Mario sat beside him. "Relax... We won't let him harm you again here... Let's get your mind off it right now..

Last time we met, you two mentioned that you learned new moves. Could you show them off to me if you don't mind?"

Mario and Luigi looked at each other and then back at Lightning. "Sure!" They responded with a smile.

Mario faced a large rock in front of Lightning and he began to concentrate on using Sizzly Slide. He cloaks himself in fire and charges at the rock target, burning the rock with an intense flame at the side, grazing it.

"How was that?"

"That was amazing, Mario! Good job!" Lightning called out. She turned to face the green-clad Eevee next. "Alright Luigi. It's your turn now. Let's see what you got!"

"Uh.. I..."

"Come on, bro! I know you can do it!" Mario told him, encouragingly as he took one of his brother's paws and pulled him towards the rock.

"Well... Okay," he responded, sheepishly.

Lightning and Mario were watching him from the Oak tree.

He turned to face the rock and focused on using his Buzzy Buzz attack. He then shoots a jolt of electricity at the rock and it smashed into many pieces. "I did it!"

"Good job Luigi!"

Luigi turned and faced them with a smile. "Thanks!"

"Oh! Lightning, didn't you use the move Thunder the last time we met?" Luigi asked.

"Yes, but I can't do it again, I'm afraid. Believe me, I've been trying but I guess I'm just not ready to completely master using Thunder. It doesn't seem like I can forget how to use Thunderbolt quite yet. I'm so used to using it now that I just don't know if I can learn a new move just yet." Lightning explained.

"It's okay. You'll be able to learn it soon. I know you can. Could you atleast give it a try now?" Mario asked.

"I-I don't know.. I guess I can try."

Lightning tried to focus on using Thunder on another rock. Her red electric sacs on her cheeks sparked with powerful electricity. She closed her eyes tightly and unleashed the electricity— however, it wasn't enough for a Thunder attack. She just used a normal Thunderbolt. She then collapsed to the ground in frustration. "Ohhh.... I blew it again... I told you I couldn't do it..." she frowned.

Luigi took her paw and helped her up. "Don't worry Lightning, you'll get the hang of it. I believe in you. You gave it your best effort and I'm proud of you for that. You really did great."

Lightning gave him a small smile. "Awww!! Thanks Luigi. You're so sweet!"

He began blushing and giggled.

"I think we should get some rest. You two must be very tired after the current events happening recently. We should sleep in the rock shelter tonight. That way we won't be attacked by King Boo in our sleep. We would be easily overwhelmed out here and vulnerable which would be dire so it'll be the safest place for us."

"Good idea Lightning." Mario replied.

Then, they all went inside the rock shelter to rest for the night.

That's the first chapter of Super Faith. I'm very excited to finally start this story! More will be coming soon...

I will try to put this in order of Mario brothers and Lightning in one chapter and Faith the Eevee in the next. Next chapter may have a mix of both King Boo and Faith the Eevee parts and may be that way for atleast the beginning before it starts going to the order of Good guy chapters and bad guy chapters.
