Everyone falls at some point.

Whether it be to a buzzer beating shot or a poker game, you can expect some type of loss at some point in your life.

However, there is a large spectrum through which you might fall. Some lose the battle against their own greed whereas other willingly take the fall for someone else.

And some fall to something heavier, more irreversible, like the sweet kiss of death.

Living in a city full of supers and villains alike, I expect to experience more downfalls than you have family members.

But I figured out that my expectations weren't always in sync with the reality I was living in. My naivety clouded the fact that it could happen to me.

And it did.

I don't want you to pity me and I'm not asking you to love me. However, I want you to understand me and you can only do that by reliving my story.

So with that being said, my name is Genevieve and this is how I fell.
