Wally's "Death"
If you've seen Young Justice, and saw the last episode of season 2, you were probably not too happy to know that everyone's second favorite speedster (with Bart being my fave) was gone. I mean, you can't just kill guys like him off, right?
Well, many fans of Young Justice have probably seen Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. In the last episode of JLU, Wally supposedly died. He disappeared in a flurry of blue and white, just as he did in Young Justice. In JLU, he stated that the Speed Force was "calling" him home. Sadly, as Young Justice was ended so soon, the time for that universe has basically frozen. You can only sort of consider the Justice League movies to be in the same universe, as they have the same animation, but that would mean that Young Justice would happen after those movies.
Some people argue that Wally's death wasn't heroic, but I do beg to differ. Wally died saving the world. Bart and Barry together didn't have enough kinetic energy to stop the machine, and Wally stepped in to help. Even though he himself was slower than both Barry and Bart, his energy was enough to stop the machine, though he was taken into the speed force in the process. Without Wally, the world might not have gotten saved.
