Shortly after writing my view on the TTG+YJ crossover, I went and Googled it. Turns out it aired on Feb. 26. So I went to YouTube. And I watched it. And I nearly puked.

Here's what happened:

Robin and the gang were out dealing with the Hive, and totally getting their butts kicked. So then, Aqualad, Miss Martian, and Superboy swooped in to save the day. I realize having KF and Young Justice Robin in the shots would've been awkward since they had already been established in the Titan's world, but still.

Another thing was, well, the animation. The YJ crew was in their old animation style, while TT was still in their own animation. Plus, Miss M had her old hair and outfit, as well as Supes. Plus, Aqualad was the only person to talk, and it was probably because I'm pretty sure Aqualad and Cyborg are played by the same guy. Honestly, if I were tlone of the people that plays Miss M or Supes, I wouldn't have wanted to do it either. Who wants to return to their hit show character for a train wreck like that?

Another notable thing was that they totally wrote Aqualads script to make him seem like some heartless, mean, sorry excuse for a hero. I mean, his brooding was worse than Batman on a bad day.

You might be familiar with the way YJ episodes open, using typewriter type text to set the scene. Example:

Well, they sorta mocked Young Justice doing that but stupider, and totally botched up the darker-deeper part to Young Justice.
