Ted woke up to see two figures standing over him blocking the light. He covered his eyes with the nearby throw pillow and turned his back to them.

"He was here when I came in last night so I left him. You said you all got into another fight?" That was Ketter. "Yes sir. We all fought with great strength but it ended in a draw. Your son was a great leader. You should be proud." That was Pip. Ted could hear Ketter sigh before mumbling something he didn't catch but it made Pip laugh. Ketter walked away as Pip turned back to his friend.

"Wake up friend Ted. We have an adventure waiting." Pip declared. Ted groaned and rolled off the couch only to be met with the cold wooden floor. "This isn't my room." He winched. Pip smiled with his hands on his hips. "Pompadour."

Ted leaned against the wooden post while Pip sat on the bench and scrolled through his phone. They were waiting at the bus stop near Ted's house where they decided Eve would pick them up. She planned on picking up Olivia first since she apparently lived closer to her than he did.

Ted was wearing a pair of brown skater pants with a light blue shirt and a white over shirt. He had a single strap bag with him. Pip wore a red shirt with some band on it and a pair of board shorts. His hair was also loose allowing for some strands to fall over his face.

"Hard to believe it's the weekend. This week just dragged on." Ted said aloud. Pip nodded in agreement before tucking his phone into his pocket. He noticed someone walking their way. "Jim?" Ted looked over and saw that it was indeed Jim.

He wore a grey hoodie with a skull on the shoulder and some jeans. He waved at them and took a seat next to Pip. "She said she should be here soon." He simply said. Ted and Pip looked at each other confused. "You're going with us?" Ted asked. Jim nodded. This was a rare occasion when anyone would see him outside of school or on a weekend.

Before either boy could question him a white SUV drove up and parked. The window rolled down to show Eve in the passenger seat wearing a pair of sunglasses. She smirked. "Get in nerds. We're going to Fantasy Land."

Pip smiled and hopped into the car before climbing to the very back. Jim followed leaving Ted to sit next to Olivia in the middle. "Morning." He greeted. She only smiled at him. She seems excited like a kid getting candy. After everyone settled and buckled up the car began to drive. Eve turned to face everyone.

"Thanks for being here on time. Honestly thought Jim was going to be late." She joked. Jim rolled his eyes but smiled regardless. "Oh yeah, why are you here? You're usually busy on the weekends." Ted asked. Jim just shrugged going with the excuse of someone convinced him. "He texted me last night and asked if the offer was still there. The more the merrier right? As a matter of fact, we're going to pick up Lilith and Steph right now." Eve informed.

"What about Ned? Is he going?" Pip asked. Eve just shrugged. "He never ansswered."

'Almost everyone is going. Wonder what Cid and Ned are doing.' Ted wondered.

"HOW ARE YOU STILL BEATING ME?!"

Ned simply smiled.

"You can't beat me you casual."

Cid cried in defeat as he started another game.

"Rematch!"

The car pulled up to the sister's house that was only a few blocks away from Ted's. The sisters were dressed casual like the boys were. Lilith wore a sleeveless black shirt and some torn jeans with her hair tied up while Steph wore a white shirt that was about a size too big for her and some shorts. Steph had a small bag with her, her medicine most likely, while Lilith had a jacket over her arm. The car stopped and the two climbed in. Lilith decided to get in the back while Steph sat between Olivia and Ted.

"Hey bff. How are you?" Steph greeted. Ted smiled and said he was doing fine. He almost had to remind himself that they didn't know about the fight. At least that's what he thought before Lilith flicked his ear. "Sore from yesterday?"

Ted looked to Steph and Olivia who looked at him puzzlingly. He messed with the bandage on his hand and laughed. "A bit yeah." He simply said. Lilith took his look as a warning not to push the subject anymore. She sat back and fell into conversation with the other two boys. Olivia lend forward a bit to talk to Eve.

"So what are we doing when we get there? Rides? Food?" She asked. Ted was going to make a joke regarding slaying a dragon before he caught what Olivia was wearing. A pair of tan shorts and a light yellow blouse that hung off her shoulders. He could see her, she was wearing red today huh? NONONONO! LOOK AWAY CHILD! LOOK AWAY! Ted snapped his head to face the window with a ever growing blush on his cheeks.

Steph noticed him acting weird and offered a granola bar she had figuring he just skipped breakfast. This was going to be a long ride. To make matters worse, the three in the back were actively watching Ted and rooting for their selected girl. Steph fell asleep somewhere between the first pit-stop and Jim fighting with Pip over who was more popular with girls, Lilith confirmed it was Pip, which lead to her leaning on Ted. Olivia saw this and chose to look out the window. Even Eve seemed to face forward more. Ted was watching the trees roll by before hearing Steph make a noise in her sleep causing him to look over. Her shirt was falling over her shoulder. Ted looked away quickly with yet another blush on his face.

'Stop being a creep stop being a creep stop being a creep' Ted repeated in his mind. Eve smiled and turned back to the group before pointing forward. "Fantasy Land ahead!" She declared. Everyone looked forward and all gasped at the sight before them. Just like that, everyone was a little kid again. Steph even woke up and began to cheer. Eve told them that she had a surprise planned which would explain why they were driving around the back rather than the entrance.

"So, what's up with this?" Jim asked. Eve didn't answer and the SUV came to a stop. Everyone got out and began to stretch after being cramped in a car for an hour and a half. Soon a man and a lady walked up to them and greeted Eve. "There's our royal court for the day." The lady welcomed. Everyone looked to Eve who just whistled while looking away. "Eve?" Ted asked manically.

Eve gave a nervous laugh before answering. "I made a deal with them that we would help advertise the park by dressing up and getting our pictures taken as we go about our day."

"WHAT?!" Everyone asked, except for Pip who was just happy to be there.

"This way now. We have your costumes ready in the changing rooms." The man stated. The three boys were lead to the left while the girls went right. "I didn't AGREE TO THIS EVE!" Jim yelled before getting pushed into the room.

"I think we need more chips." Cid decided.

Ned nodded as he continued to play the game. He paused it and turned to the blonde boy.

"Let's do something." He said.

"Like what?"

"Well, the headmistress gave me these."

"Eh, why not? I'll grab my jacket."

"What the hell is this?"Ted asked as he looked down at himself.

He was dressed like a king. He wore a navy blue tunic with elegant gold designs stitched into the fabric. He also wore a pair of black trousers and leather boots. He also wore a pair of black leather gloves to cover his bandages since they weren't "time appropriate" or whatever. They had styles his hair to be combed back and put a gold crown on his head which was decorated by fancy looking jewels. It wasn't any store bought costume either, it was the real deal. Or at least as real as you could get this day and age.

"I'm right there with you." Jim said.

He was wearing a brown leather vest over a black undershirt and tight black trousers. He wore black leather boots and gloves but also wore brown leather braces with unique designs. The look was finished with a black cloak that reached his mid back and a hood covering his head. He was able to keep the bandages since it fit the character.

"I LOVE IT!" Pip cheered.

Pip was a knight. Do you really need a description? The only thing he was missing was a helmet but they promised to give him one once the girls were finished.

"Why am I a thief? Is it because I'm Mexican?" Jim asked. Pip and Ted laughed. "No, probably because you look like a punk." Ted suggested. Jim joined in their laughter. The boys settled down and took a closer look at their costumes and were actually impressed by the amount of detail put into them. Someone behind them cleared their throat catching their attention. When the boys turned around they were greeted by the girls in their clothing.

"What do you think?" Eve asked.

The boys were shocked to say the least. Steph was dressed as a nun of shorts. She wore the habit but it had a few minor changes to it. The white went all the way down the middle of the front and she wore a golden necklace of shorts around her neck. Instead of black and white, the habit was instead blue and white. She was also carrying a staff. It made sense since it was Fantasy Land.

Lilith was dressed as a warrior of shorts which suited her quite nicely. Thankfully the costume didn't expose too much skin and was actually quite fashionable. She wore a white undershirt with a brown leather belt around her stomach with a smaller one right below it hanging off her hip. She also wore a pair of green pants and brown leather boots that went up to her mid calf. On the belt was a dagger and the look was topped off with a green cloak that looked like Jim's.

Eve wore a green shirt that went down to her mid thigh but was lifted up by a leather corset and a pair of brown leather pants. Her boots went up to her ankles and she had various pouches hanging around her body. On her face was some black markings and her ears were longer. Her hair was braided up and she wore a  necklace decorated with small bones. She was an elf right?

Ted looked to Olivia and felt his heart rate increase by a million. She was a princess. A short, adorable, elegant looking princess. She wore a royal purple dress which reached the floor but didn't drag. She wore foundation with red lipstick and her hair was styled up professionally. She was also decorated with jewels such as rings and necklaces. A small tiara rested on her head.

'She looks so cute! I just want to hug her and whatthehellamIthinkingrightnow?' Ted shook the thoughts from his mind and smiled awkwardly. "You all look nice. I like it." He simply said. He turned away and adjusted the gloves on his hands. "Oh? What's this?" Pip smirked.

Lilith and Jim groaned at their defeat while Pip threw his arms around both Olivia and Ted. "A king and a princess! Such a glorious coincidence. You two look like a great pair!" Pip shot a look at Jim and Lilith over his shoulder. They both sighed. Pip walked away and "accidentally" pushed the two together gaining jealous pouts from Eve and Steph. Pip snickered silently as Ted and Olivia apologized to each other.

"Alright let's go!" Eve called out before walking away quickly to escape the scene. Jim agreed and followed. Everyone mobbed along leaving the two awkward teens alone. Ted looked to his left while Olivia looked at the ground. She wasn't used to dressing like this especially in front of people. She also admitted to herself that Ted was indeed handsome at that moment. Not that he's not handsome every other time it's just that he looks even more handsome with his hair styled like that.

"You look cute in that."

Both teens looked at each other with blushes on their faces. Did he just say that out loud? Yeah. He did. Lilith called for the two and they collected themselves the best they could before walking to meet the others. Olivia smiled when Ted wasn't looking. She slowly reaches to hold his hand, and he let her.

"Oh. So this is the place. Interesting."

"Yeah I heard it's pretty cool. OH! Costumes! Let's grab some!"

"Ok."

Cid marched happily towards the shop with Ned following closely behind.

"Why does she always hold his hand?"

Jim looked over his shoulder towards Ted and Olivia and shrugged. "Who knows? I just hope he opens his eyes to the real best girl." He sighed. Lilith nodded. "Yeah. Why does he insist on going for Scaleless when he can have my adorable little sister?" She wondered aloud. Jim was about to agree but stopped himself. "Wait a second there, Stephanie? No way. I was talking about Eve."

Lilith glared at him. "Excuse me? Miss Goody Two Shoes is better than my sister? My sister is a genius which goes perfectly with Ted's own smarts. On top of that she is cute, funny, and nerdy. Totally Ted's type." She argued.

Jim rolled his eyes. "You have to be joking. Eve and him obviously have something going on. She flirts with him all the time and he even takes her out sometimes. They're practically a couple in everything but name." He fired back.

Pip popped up in between the two. "Ted has a strong desire to protect Olivia from all of the world's harm. He opened a new world to her and is willing to fight on her behalf whenever anyone dares to tell him to stay away from her. He is, in a metaphorical sense, her knight. Also she is incredibly adorable and sweet." He stated before sliding back down and continuing his conversation with Eve as if he was never there.

Jim and Lilith looked at each other and shrugged. "He'll make the right choice." They both decided.

"Holy Hell, we can't escape them."

The group stopped and looked to see both Cid and Ned standing there. Ned was dressed as a, tribesman? A barbarian? He wasn't wearing pants. Cid was an archer of some kind. Both boys walked towards them with a wave.

"Hey. Fancy running into you here." Cid smiled.

"You to. What are you guys doing here? I didn't even know you two knew each other." Jim welcomed.

Ned nodded. "We live together. Temporarily at least until my new home is ready." He explained. Lilith smirked as she giggled. "Oh? I would've thought you two were on a date." She teased. Ned let out a loud laugh scaring everyone around before returning to his plain face. "He's not my type." He simply stated.

He looked over to Ted and Olivia when he saw them holding hands. "A couple?" He asked. Ted shook his head and Ned turned back to Cid.

"Rides." He demanded. Cid agreed and the group all heading towards the rollercoaster.
