Kath-> Zee, le-ts get out of h-here right now!

Kath suggested while running towards the exit of the fort. Unwillingly I nodded and joined her. There was no other option left, we didn't know how to defeat Megha. We reached in front of the fort's gate.

Zee-> GUARDS! OPEN THE GATE!

I shouted for the guards. But the guards' cottage seemed empty. No one came out. Kath was in tears, she shook the gate and shouted.

Kath-> O-OPEN I-IT!! P-pl-ease~

Zee-> K-Kath control yourself...l-lets go to Hanumanji's temple...it's the safest place now.

I helped Kath to get up and was taking her towards Hanumanji's temple. When suddenly we heard an evil laughter. I didn't pay attention to it and started moving towards the temple. But as much as we were moving towards it, it was going far away from us.

Zee-> Huh?!...w-what's ha-ppenin-

Suddenly Kath removed my hand from her arms and started to walk towards the fort.

Zee-> Hey?! Kath?!...where a-are you going?!

She didn't reply. I followed her. She was walking without any sign of panic...she was walking as if everything was fine and calm.

Zee-> KATH...KAAATH?!...WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!

I paced a hand on her shoulder and shouted.

Kath-> You're talking to me?!

She turned towards me and smiled. I became more angry.

Zee-> NO...I'M TALKING TO MYSELF.

Kath-> Ohh I see.

She smiled and started to walk again. I stood there for a second making a poker face then again ran after her. Placing one hand on her shoulder, I turned her towards me.

Zee-> Kath, ofcours I was talking with you.....who's here except me and you?! You think I'll talk to Megha or that evil Ratnavati-

Kath-> OH MY GOSH!...Shhh...

She placed one finger on my mouth and was looking here and there as if I said something very wrong and as if someone heard it.

Kath-> Girl you've the guts...but next time you say something negative about princess Ratnavati, be sure to say it in a low voice.

I rolled my eyes...putting her finger down from my mouth I answered coldly-

Zee-> Why?!

Kath-> Can't you see the royal guards roaming here and there.

She whispered and continued to walk. I was frozen, my eyes widened.

Zee-> W-what did she just s-say?!....KAATH...KAATH....WAIT FOR ME-

Kath-> Who told you I'm Kath?!...my name is Kotha...Kotha Bai.

Zee-> Kath...please stop kidding me...it's not the time to joke. I know you were Kotha Bai and all...but stop acting like that now.

Kath-> Yeah girl, I know it's not the time to joke but the time to work...that's what I'm gonna do after having my lunch.

Zee-> What freaking work do u wanna do at this time of the night?!

Kath-> Whaat?! No girl, it's afternoon...see the sun is shinning bright....you also come to my house...I'll make lunch for you too...ohh...what's your name, by the way?!

I was going out of my mind....Kath started to drag me towards the fort.

Swanki was sleeping in his stable, suddenly he woke up, neighed and left the stable running.

Zee-> Kath...you know...we shouldn't be here now...w-we should be finding a way out from here.

I shaked Kath. But she removed my hands from her shoulder and took me into one of the shattered building of the then city of Bhangarh with about 2000 people.

Kath-> Welcome to my house!
Wait here and I'll make lunch for you.

Zee-> God! Save h-her....Kath...listen, you've gone mad...now lets move from here.

She was virtually cooking and I was driven crazy...I wasn't able to figure it out what was wrong with her. I tried to drag her out but no use.

Zee-> Wait...i-is s-she hypnotized?!...I-its some t-trick of Megha...NO...NOOOO...
Kath...Kath...listen, Megha can arrive anytime...we're not safe here-

Kath-> Who's Megha?!

Zee-> O-Oh god!

I cried placing a hand on my forehead. I heard an evil laughter.

?-No use of trying Zee, you can no longer save her....hahahahaha....I'll kill her....

Zee-> Megha?! Where are you?! Please...please leave us alone....w-we promise, we w-won't hurt you...w-we'll go back to our hostel a-and never return here again...p-please make her well....pleaseee...

I cried while looking here and there and pleading.

?-> Hahahaha....I'm Ratnavati....Queen Ratnavati in Megha's body....hahaha...and I'll kill your beloved friend in front of you and you'll be able to do nothing, dear...hahaha.....

The laughter faded.

Zee-> Ratnavati?! RATNAVATIIIII-

Kath was looking at me raising her one brow.

Zee-> D-did you hear...w-what she said-

Kath-> Zee...you're hungry...that's why you're behaving weirdly...now eat this.

She smiled and handed me some sand, stones and mud. My eyes widened and I looked up at her to find her eating some bricks. I immediately stood up, throwing everything. I snatched those bricks and threw away. Kath's mouth was full of blood. But strangely she didn't feel the pain

Zee-> NO...NOOOOOOO....THIS CAN'T HAPPEN NOOOOOOO......

I nodded my head left and right.

Kath-> You wasted my lunch..*sigh*....ok never mind...I'm going to my shop now.

Zee-> Kath wait....you're going nowhere-

She pushed me hard and I fell on the shattered building hurting my leg.

Kath-> You can't stop me from my income.

Saying this she went away. Somehow I managed to stand up. I started to look for her while walking lamely. I reached Johri Bazaar and found Kath, again inside a shattered building, doing I don't know what. Her mouth was still covered with blood. I went towards her.

Kath-> No..no no n-no...I-I can't d-do t-this, Singhia Sevra-NOOO...NOOOO....YOU WON'T DO THAT-OKAY I-I'LL DO...............................

Zee-> Kath?!

Kath-> ..........It's of one silver coin your highness.

I saw her facial expression changing. Her face became pale and she started to cry. I was unable to understand anything and it seemed like my voice was inaudible to her and I was invisible to her. She didn't response to me neither looked at me once.

Kath-> N-NOO...HER MAJESTY IS WRONG....I-I-I DIDN'T BETRAY YOU........ACTUALLY SINGHIA-

Suddenly she reacted and held her left cheek in such a way as if she was slapped hard.

Kath-> P-PLEASE YOUR H-HIGHNESS-NOOOO...DON'T HANG ME TO DEATH...P-PLEASE.....

Then she started to run towards the palace. It was hard for me to keep up with her with a hurt leg but I did my best. I was running behind her trying to catch her.

Zee-> KAAATH....LISTEN.....YOU SHOULDN'T GO THERE..... KATHHHH WAIIIT.....

She stopped in front of the Palace's gate. I tried to drag her to the opposite way but no use. It seemed like I was dragging a non living thing, no reaction from her, she was intact in her place.

Kath-> LET ME GO PLEASE..I'VE TO MEET THE KING!

Suddenly from nowhere Megha or more prominently, Ratnavati appeared.

Megha-> *Evil laugh* Ages ago I didn't let you in, during this same situation....I said, "Go back Kotha...you'll be put to death tomorrow.."...but unfortunately the next day we were all put to death due to that stupid curse which I got DUE TO YOU....It was a great mistake....*evil laugh* but never mind dear, I'm back to correct my mistake.

Kath didn't even say a word. She was standing there like a statue and I couldn't figure it out what to do...how to save her. I wished I had some light or something...but why wasn't the Sadhu's chain working?! Ratnavati started to go inside the palace...Kath followed her blindly and I again started to try dragging her out.

Zee-> MEGHAAA...OR RATNAVATI..WHO-THE-FUCK-EVER YOU ARE I DON'T CARE..IT'S JUST FREAKING ENOUGH...YOU JUST CAN'T PLAY WITH US WITH ALL THOSE SUPERPOWERS OF YOURS....LEAVE KATH...SHE'S INNOCENT...YOU CAN KILL ME IN HER PLACE.

She smirked.

Ratnavati-> What's the rush, dear?! You'll be killed too...but its your friend's turn now.

She started to take Kath inside again. I was really desperate to save Kath. I took two stones immeadiately and lit a fire on top of a stick.

Zee-> HEY STUPID WOMAN TURN AROUND AND LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE...ELSE......

I showed her the fire. She smirked again and without saying anything she disappeared. I took a deep breath. Suddenly I felt somebody pushing me. I unwillingly went towards Kath with the fire.

Niel-> Zen?! Are you here?!

Niel came in front of the fort looking for Zen. Suddenly Swanki came to him running.

Niel-> Swanki?!

Swanki was neighing and raised his back.

Niel-> You want me to sit on you?!

Niel climbed on Swanki and he started to run again with Niel on his back. He ran and ran untill they were in front of a huge wall, Swanki jumped over a huge wall and stopped there looking up.

Niel-> Where are we?!-Are we at the back-

Niel looked up.

Niel-> Ohh Yes!

Zee-> W-what's happening?!...STOPPP...

I heard Megha's voice again.

Megha-> You're gonna burn your friend alive with your own hands....hahaha...

Zee-> NOO...NOOOOO..

I immeadiately loosened my grip, the stick fell, the fire was put out and Megha reappeared laughing.

Megha-> Now its enough playing with you Zee...I've tolerated enough insults...I'll kill her now and then it'll be your turn...hahahaha...like I did with her...I'll play with you first then I'll kill you painfully...hahahaha..now watch out your friend dying a painful death.

I was about to open my mouth but suddenly I felt I was all frozen. I wasn't able to move or talk. I could just hear, see and feel. I saw her following Ratnavati up the stairs. Everything was happening in front of my eyes and I couldn't do anything except for watching it. Streams of tears rolled down my eyes. I was trying hard to move. She most probably took her to the terrace. I couldn't see them fully but I could hear their voices because the surrounding was cool and quite.

Megha-> Ahhhh-ouch... W-why Am I unable to touch you?!-huh?! Ohh that chain?!

I saw a ray of hope...the chain's working.

Megha-> Hahahahaha....You're under my control now...you'll do whatever I'll tell you to...KATH OPEN THAT CHAIN AND THROW IT OUT.

No noo ...nooo Kath...there was a silence for few seconds.

Megha-> I said..THROW IT NOWWW-

Kath-> No your highness...I can't do that, someone special had asked me never to open it.

S-She remembered me?!....It's great....

Megha-> VERY WELL.......THEN DO  ONE THING, JUMP FROM THIS TERRACE RIGHT NOW!

N-No...NOOOO...K-KATH WON'T DO THAT...I know she won't...

Kath-> As you say, your highness!

W-What?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....I was trying hard to move...but no use. I was in tears, suddenly I heard-

Kath-> ZEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeee~~~

Megha-> *Evil Laugh*

Zee-> KAAATHHHHHHHH-

I was again able to move. Without wasting a single second I ran up paying no attention to my leg's pain...I tripped once and my leg was bleeding now....but still it couldn't resist me.

Zee-> KATH?! KAAATH?!...W-where a-are y-you-Hey-HEY BITCH WHAT'D U DO TO KATH?!

Megha-> I didn't do....she herself committed suicide...*evil laugh*

She vanished while saying, "Now it's your turn!"

Zee-> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....KAAAAATHHHHHHHHHH-

I looked down the terrace hall while panicking and crying hard.....but I could see nothing...I heard a horse's neigh and heard it was running.

Zee-> K-Ka-Kath...ohh Kath...if only I listened to you..*cry*....a-and n-never c-came h-here-I-I-i l-lost y-you......I-I c-couldn't s-s-save y-you *cry*.....h-how'll I r-return t-to h-hostel w-without you?!...Y-You left me a-alone..*cry*...w-what will I say to y-your f-family K-ath?!

Suddenly I felt losing my consciousness.....everything started to black out....I fell on the ground...it was hard to keep open my eyes.

Zee-> K-a-ath...I-I L-love y-you....
