Jongho's body has never ached so much. Well, he takes that back, it's not use to the constant abuse and beatings from when he worked with Shownu's parents. He was used to manual labor, but not the beatings that came right after or before or even during his labor.

He worked in the garden, he worked in the house, he worked in the fields with other wolves, and he worked with Kihyun in the kitchen. The pregnant omega was due any day now, and from what he's been seeing, Jongho thinks any day he might give birth.

Jongho was helping him with dishes one day after breakfast, Shownu had went to town for a few supplies and would be back momentarily. The pregnant wolf kept hissing and holding his belly, swaying side to side sometimes to ease his pain. But as the day progressed, the hisses and groans of pain came more frequently.

"Kihyun, are you okay?" Jongho asks, finishing up dusting the dining room and his eyebrows furrow at the older male.

"I'm fine," Kihyun winces, "Just cramping that's all."

"Are you sure you're not in labor?" Jongho asks, but before Kihyun could answer, Shownu walks in the house and stops short.

He sees Jongho standing awfully close to Kihyun and snarls, walking over to them, "What is the meaning of this!?"

"He's hurting," Jongho defends himself, "I was just trying to help him."

Shownu locks his dark eyes on the small omega, just in time to see Kihyun whimper and cradle his belly. Shownu storms over to the small omega, standing over him as he places a gentle hand on Kihyun's back, "Is it time?"

Kihyun whimpers, nodding his head, "My w-water hasn't broken but it could any minute."

Shownu looks to Jongho and glares, "Run and get the midwife from the house next door. If Wonho gives you hell about being in his home without me you tell him to come talk to me." Jongho nods and Shownu snarls, "Go now and hurry."

Jongho nods, turning and running out of the house to the only one next door to Shownu. It wasn't as small, but it wasn't big either. He knocks on the door desperately, not wanting to keep Shownu and Kihyun waiting.

The door flies open, and a shorter, muscular built man answers. His face is soft, but as soon as he opened the door a scowl replaces it, "What is it mutt?"

"Shownu, midwife," Jongho pants, his legs ached and his lungs felt as if they were going to burst from running quickly, "Kihyun."

The bear, he assumes is Wonho, looks behind him, "Jody! You're needed at Shownu's!"

A smaller female, a beta, steps into view and her eyes widen when she sees Jongho. Wonho grabs her wrist and turns her to face him, "Shownu will release you whenever he feels as if you can go. Listen to him, and if you so much as disobey him the consequences will be dire."

She nods, her large brown eyes turn back to Jongho and she follows the alpha from her home to Shownu's. As they run, she looks to him, "What's your name Alpha?"

"Jongho," Jongho answers, "And I wouldn't be talking to me if I was you. Not unless you want your tongue ripped out by them."

She nods and kept her mouth shut the rest of the time, they enter the home just in time. Kihyun was crying in pain and Shownu was holding him up. The omega's legs were wet and the floor below him was wet as well.

Shownu snarls, "Take your damn time why don't you."*

"My apologies Sir," the woman bows her head, waiting for Shownu to give permission to step forward and help Kihyun. She helps him waddle to the bedroom, where Jongho assumes he's going spend the rest of the time until the baby is born.

Shownu growls, looking to Jongho, "Clean this up. And when you're done start cooking dinner."

Shownu leaves the room to head to the bedroom, leaving Jongho to clean the amniotic fluid off the wood floors. He nearly gags at the smell, he has never smelt something vile, and it looked like mucus to him. With the others at home having babies, he never got up close and personal when their waters broke.

He sent them silent words of respect as he quickly cleans the mess and began cooking dinner. If Jongho is even a minute late on dinner he is sure to get punished. Not mention he had to feed Kihyun and the midwife as well. He just decided to make grilled salmon fillets and some rice, something easy for everyone since they will be busy with the baby.

Just as predicted, Shownu and the midwife were busy with Kihyun once his water broke. Shownu hardly ever came out of the room unless it was to get more water or ice. The last time he did, he hooked Jongho up to his chains in his room with a hard face.

Jongho didn't even get to say anything as Shownu leaves and locks the door behind him. Jongho sat in his room in silence, the occasional moan of pain or cry can be heard next to him. He lays on the floor with the blanket and pillow provided for him, trying to block out the midwife talking to them.

Eventually, she starts calling out, "And push push push push!"

Jongho sighs, rolling over to face the wall as he tries to tune out Kihyun giving birth in the next room. He can hear through the drywall the grunts and groans as Kihyun pushes. Once that baby is born, Shownu will be on high alert and maybe Jongho can escape.

This seems to go on for a bit before finally cheers can be heard and a loud, gurgling scream from the baby can be heard. Jongho tenses as he listens, the sound was bone chilling and beautiful at the same time. He heard some muffled talking from the wall as the baby continues to cry, eventually it quiets down possibly from Kihyun taking it into his arms.

Once it was quiet, Jongho closes his eyes and tries to sleep for the long day of work ahead of him tomorrow. But before he can even doze off, he heard the floorboards creak from something heavy walking on them, and then the door unlocking. He turns when the door opens, seeing Shownu standing there in the darkness watching over him.

He freezes, sitting up and wincing at the sounds of the chains rattling. Shownu steps forward, Jongho braces himself. But Shownu does something unimaginable.

He unchains Jongho from the wall and takes the collar off of his neck. He throws them to the side, taking a deep breath, "Leave." Jongho stares up at him, shock runs through his veins as Shownu growls, "I said leave. And if I catch sight of you again I'll rip you to shreds."

Jongho was still staring at him as the bear walks to the door, leaving him unchained and the door opened. Jongho doesn't ask questions, he stands slowly and walks towards the door, staying on high alert as he leaves his room and heads to the front door. Proceeding with caution, he turns the knob and exits the house. Shownu still didn't come after him as he walked further and further from the house.

He is free.

Seonghwa groans as the pounding in his head intensified, it hurt to even clench his eyes shut tighter. The annoying sound of water dripping into a puddle was starting to get a bit annoying as well.

"Seonghwa." The alpha moans in pain, a shaking hand comes up to cup his forehead. "Seonghwa wake up!" Someone hisses, causing Seonghwa to peek an eye open. He comes face to face with Mingi, the alpha's eyes were large with worry as he stood over Seonghwa.

"Where are we?" Seonghwa whispers, groaning, "Fuck my head..."

"We're in a prison," he whispers back, "me, you, and Hongjoong are the only ones in this cell."

"San?" Seonghwa asks, wincing as the pounding increases.

"We have no clue where he went," Mingi sighs, "I think he was placed in a different cell away from us."

A door opens down the stone hall, and Seonghwa looks over to the cell door. The bars were close together and made it impossible to try and escape. They were probably locked too no doubt. He sits up with a groan, Hongjoong coming into his view as he sat in the floor of the prison cell.

Footsteps walk down the hall right towards them, and stop right outside their cell. The alphas all turn to look at their visitor, Seonghwa snarls and he knew his eyes were bright red, "Rex."

"Hello Rogue," Rex snarls, hanging his lantern on the hook by the cell wall, "Miss me?"

Seonghwa growls, standing and walking over to the large wolf. He ignores the pain in his head and his body as he gets close to the cell, "What the fuck did you do with him?"

"Him?" Rex hums, a look of realization and a slight smirk crosses his face, "Ah. My mate, Wooyoung?"

"He's my mate," Seonghwa snarls, pounding on the cell bars, "What did you do with him!?"

"Relax, he's under my safety and care. For now," Rex narrows his eyes as he looks behind him to the other alphas in the cell. He smirks, "Two others. And a beta? My, you've recruited such an elaborate team to get slaughtered for my celebration tonight."

"What celebration you over grown beaver?" Hongjoong snarls, the tension of his mate being here as well was making his anger rise.

Rex chuckles, "Oh don't worry, it's a special occasion to start my marriage right," Rex leans in and whispers, "Firstly, I'm going to bring you in a room and you are all going to watch us eat and drink delicious food while you watch. Then, Wooyoung will come in, and I'll fuck him raw right in front of you. And finally, after pumping him full of my seed and breeding him, I will claim him as my own. All in front of you," Rex smirks, "Sounds like fun right?"

Seonghwa roars, pounding and banging against the cage. He didn't care if it hurt, he wanted this wall gone so he can rip apart the wolf in front of him. Rex chuckles, "Don't worry, I'm not done there. I still have unfinished business to take care of regarding the bastard pup you put in him and he birthed." Seonghwa's stomach drops at the mention of Wynter and Rex grabs the lantern, a sick smile on his face as he steps back, "Tonight will be a night to remember for me, and everyone else attending this celebration. But the highlight of the night will be killing you once and for all."
