Wooyoung couldn't believe that Seonghwa had gone through all of this trouble for him. He had thought the roses were sweet, but this?

It was everything he had always wanted out of being in a relationship.

His heart felt so full as enjoyed the food, but he also avoided Seonghwa's gaze a lot because he felt so shy.

When they were laying on their side, he finally got the courage to look at the alpha. "This was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me, Hwa. Thank you."

"It's the least I could do." Seonghwa smiled at him. "I just wanted to show my appreciation to you. You've put up with so much from me and I wanted to show you that I care for you and that I want this to possibly... progress more than what we have now."

Wooyoung felt his heart stop for a moment as he took in what Seonghwa was saying.

Seonghwa wanted to be with him. Not because of Wynter either. Seonghwa wanted him.

He couldn't stop the smile that slowly tugged at his lips, "I'd like that." And it was true. He wanted to belong some where, and even though he knew it was more his wolf speaking, he wanted to belong with someone.

Seonghwa lifted a hand up hesitantly and cupped Wooyoung's cheek. He let his thumb move back and forth gently before he started to lean in.

Wooyoung felt his eyes widen for just a second, before he forced them closed. He let out a shaky breath as he waited for it to happen.

He wanted it to happen.

But before the contact actually came, thundering footsteps came crashing toward them and they pulled away. On the other side of the lake, a giant brown and black bear broke through the trees and stared at them with red eyes.

Wooyoung gasped and started to back away as a deep, gut wrenching growl came from the bear as it started to charge at them.

Seonghwa jumped up immediately and pulled Wooyoung behind him. The bear was so fast it had already cut them off from the house as it rounded the lake and roared a second time.

HONGJOONG! Seonghwa called out through the link.

Wooyoung clung to his shirt as his heart pounded in his ears. What were they going to do? That thing was huge... There was no way they could stop it on their own.

And the dominance that Seonghwa was emitting was already starting to force Wooyoung into submission so he would be useless anyway. Just as he always was...

We are coming, hold on. Hongjoong said through their link and Wooyoung could sense him, Mingi, and Jongho all shifting and running in their direction.

Then a loud gunshot interrupted everything.

Wooyoung yelped in surprised and stumbled backward while Seonghwa spun around to catch him and bring him to his chest. "Don't move, I don't want to lose you." The alpha muttered into the top of Wooyoung's head before he glanced over his shoulder.

The bear had stopped and was now staring into the trees again. It roared for a third time and Wooyoung could feel his entire body vibrate.

Several more gunshots could be heard echoing out of the trees.

Hongjoong stay back! There's gunfire!

Have they seen you?

I don't know, but we are still human so they don't know there are wolves around. The bear is distracted so stay back for now. Seonghwa urged as he started to back away from the creature.

Apparently the bear decided it had had enough of the gun fire so he started to walk forward as if the bullets meant nothing to him.

But he paused once to turn his head and stare at the couple. Wooyoung shivered and felt like it was looking right at him...

Then it roared and ran into the trees, disappearing from view.

"What... Just happened?" Wooyoung asked, his voice quivering.

"I don't know, but let's get back." Seonghwa said, grabbing the omega's hand and holding on to it as he gathered everything up in his other arm and pulled him back to the house.

Wooyoung bit his lip and blushed as he stared at their hands.

This was nice.

Then he shook his head. He should be scared and panicking right now, not thinking about holding hands...

And yet he couldn't help it. He squeezed Seonghwa's hand to tighten his grip as they reentered the house.

Everyone was gathered in the living room, minus the kids, Hongjoong came over to them immediately. "Are you ok?"

"Yes." Seonghwa answered, setting down the basket and blanket.

Wooyoung shifted closer to his side so their shoulders were touching. The heat coming off the alpha felt so nice.

"I didn't even sense it coming on to our territory..." Hongjoong muttered as he started pacing.

"We were on the far side of the lake, right at the edge, so it might not have actually crossed the border." Seonghwa cringed and rubbed the back of his neck.

Wooyoung watched as Hongjoong relaxed a little, feeling the relief that he hadn't failed as head alpha rolling off him.

"I guess we can thank the hunters in the area for scaring it off. I've checked with the local human population in the town over. They have actually put out a reward for bears because they are posing enough of a threat right now. But that means we will need to be even more careful when we go hunting. If they aren't afraid to shoot at bears, they definitely won't hesitate to shot at us." Hongjoong said, making sure to look at everyone in the room. "But for now, I think we are safe."

He got nods from the entire pack before Yunho turned to press his nose against the mating mark on Mingi's neck.

San stood from his place on the couch and walked down the hall to return to his room, and Jongho watched him go.

The rest of them stood there for a long moment, and Wooyoung couldn't help but glance back at Seonghwa, his words from earlier ringing in his ears.

His wolf churned as he thought of the possibilities...

"Ok." Yeosang said suddenly, clapping his hands. "I have dinner for us to finish. We have kids to watch. Let's get back to what we were doing before." He started shooing Mingi and Yunho out of the room. The beta laughed and peeked back at Wooyoung, winking before walking down the hall with his alpha.

Wooyoung felt his cheeks heat up and he looked at the floor.

Then he was being pulled forward.

Seonghwa was walking at a quick pace to their room at the far in of the house. Last to join, furthest room away from the center.

But Wooyoung's wolf reminded him that this could be a good thing.

He had to work to keep up with the alpha's long strides, but he could feel his excitement growing. Where this was coming from, he had no idea where this... feeling was coming from. But seeing the look on Seonghwa's face when they were laying next to each other was the validation he needed.

No, it was everything he needed to give him the confidence to do this. He knew that Seonghwa was going to do everything in his power to take care of him and be his alpha.

His alpha.

That was the first time Wooyoung had thought of him that way and he could feel his wolf churning with joy.

Seonghwa was his alpha.

And Wooyoung would make sure he knew it too.

They slipped into their room and Seonghwa shut the door behind them. The lock clicked and Wooyoung felt a chill go down his spine in anticipation.

The lights had yet to be turned, so he jumped a little when he felt Seonghwa's fingers brush his cheeks, but he instantly melted into the tough.

Seonghwa took a step forward and pressed Wooyoung into the wall. It wasn't harsh or demanding, but just enough pressure so that he was pinned. He liked it. It felt almost comforting.

He shivered when Seonghwa grabbed his waist with his other hand, and both of their breathing started to get ragged.

"Woo..." The alpha whispered, leaning close so that his lips grazed Wooyoung's ears. "I can't get you out of my head. Even with what happened... Please." Seonghwa pleaded, tightening his grip on Wooyoung's waist. "Please give me a chance to be a good alpha to you. The one you deserve."

The omega shivered and closed his eyes as his head tilted to the side.

Seonghwa immediately took advantage of the movement and started to kiss along the smooth skin. It caused goosebumps to appear immediately and Wooyoung let out a soft moan.

When Seonghwa reached the mark he had left, Wooyoung's wolf burst forward and he fisted the back of Seonghwa's shirt. That's when he realized it had been almost a year had passed since he had been taken by Seonghwa.

His wolf churned in confirmation, desiring its alpha's touch.

As Wooyoung tightened his grip on Seonghwa's shirt, the alpha slipped his hand under the omega's and started dragging his fingers up his side and stomach.

The warmth felt so good against his cold skin.

Wanting to feel more, Wooyoung bit his lip and rocked his hips, wanting to let Seonghwa know that he was ok with this.

The alpha groaned and returned the action, pressing Wooyoung further into the wall as he did.

The omega saw a flash of red and Seonghwa took a step back. Now that his eyes had adjusted, he could see Seonghwa shaking his head. "What's wrong?" He asked, reaching for the older.

"I... I don't want to lose control again." Seonghwa growled as he pressed his hands to the sides of his head.

Wooyoung knew he was thinking of their first time and how Seonghwa hadn't been able to stop his wolf. "Hwa... You're in a much better place now than you were then. It's ok."

The alpha looked up at him, his blue eyes still flashing to red briefly.

"It's ok." Wooyoung said again, trying to get his message through that he wanted this too. He backed up his words by grabbing the collar of Seonghwa's shirt and pulling him forward.

Their lips slammed together and, even with his eyes closed, Wooyoung saw sparks. His entire body trembled at just this one kiss, especially when Seonghwa groaned again and started guiding him to the bed.

The kiss was sloppy and uncoordinated as they tried to find their way in the dark while also shedding their clothes at the same time.

By time Wooyoung's back hit the bed, both were naked and wanting. He could feel the slick pooling from him as his wolf howled for more.

Seonghwa started leaving open mouthed kisses along his neck and shoulders, then over his collarbone and finally over his chest. The alpha latched on to one of his nipples and teased it gently. They were still really sensitive, so Wooyoung whimpered a little at the touch, and even more so when the alpha switched to his other one, before moving on to kiss back up to his lips.

They both inhaled sharply as their limps tangled together on the bed.

Seonghwa grabbed a fistful of Wooyoung's hair and pulled his head to the side, growling a little as he kissed his mark over and over.

The omega shivered as he felt teeth graze against his skin. At that moment he wanted nothing more than for Seonghwa to bite him and claim him again.

Then he gasped when Seonghwa wrapped a hand around his length and started pumping it quickly. He could tell that Seonghwa's wolf was getting more and more present, and Wooyoung wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to fight off his wolf.

But maybe he shouldn't... If he gave in first, then maybe Seonghwa would be completely ok with this.

So that's what he did.

As his wolf surged forward, Wooyoung cried out and threw his head back. "Alpha!"

Seonghwa paused for just a second, but then he red claimed his eyes as he leaned forward and claimed Wooyoung's mouth.

He forced his tongue in and the omega worked his back and forth, wanting to taste everything.

Then the alpha shifted and started to grind their hips together. The friction between their lengths was enough to make them both want to dive over the edge right there.

And when Wooyoung started to rock his hips in response, it nearly did.

Seonghwa snarled as he rolled off to the side and panted heavily for a moment.

Wooyoung didn't want the contact to stop though, so he grabbed Seonghwa's head and brought him back in for another kiss.

The alpha claimed his mouth once again, not hesitating to take charge, while dipping his fingers down and circling the omega's entrance.

Then he pushed two fingers in, using the slick to help slid in and started pumping them quickly.

Wooyoung whimpered at the sudden stretch, not prepared to take so much so quickly, but he loved it at the same time.

"So wet for Alpha, aren't you baby boy? Are you ready for Alpha's knot?" Seonghwa purred, rubbing his nose against Wooyoung's mark.

He didn't give the omega a chance to respond before grabbing him around the waist and flipping him onto his hands and knees.

Wooyoung's limbs were like rubber and he could barely hold himself up. Especially when he felt Seonghwa's tongue enter him.

He cried out and buried his face in his pillow while rocking his hips. His whimpers got even louder when Seonghwa grabbed his length and started pumping it quickly.

Wooyoung felt so overwhelmed but so good. "A-Alpha... Gonna... Alpha!" Wooyoung whimpered, unable to form any intelligent sentences.

"It's ok. Alpha wants you to feel good. Cum for Alpha." Seonghwa commands.

Wooyoung's release hit him hard as he fisted the sheets and thrust his hips forward in time with each spurt.

He could feel his alpha rubbing his back to comfort him, even through he kept running his tongue along his entrance. And because of that, Wooyoung grew hard again almost instantly.

Seonghwa sensed this too and flipped him onto his back. Their lips collided and Wooyoung shuddered at the taste of his own slick in his mouth. He could feel Seonghwa's chest rumbling in pleasure against his own.

It was almost time.

The alpha pulled back and gathered more of the omega's slick and pumped his own length several times before slowly pushing it into the omega.

They both groaned or whimpered at the feeling, and Wooyoung hissed a little as he was stretched even further.

Seonghwa didn't wait long before he started rocking his hips. He did a couple of slow ones, but quickly picked up the pace.

His fingers dug into Wooyoung's side as he lifted him of the bed to drive down into him.

"You take Alpha so well." Seonghwa groaned, letting his head fall back as a euphoric look crossed his face.

Wooyoung felt his entire body heat up with pride at those words. He was making his alpha feel good. That was all he ever wanted.

After a few minutes, Seonghwa spun him around again, managing to stay inside him, before ramming into him at a faster place.

Wooyoung lost all ability to speak as his body was filled to the brim with pleasure. His panting and whines sounded very wolf-like as he gritted his teeth and tried to rock back to meet Seonghwa's thrusts.

And even though it was rough and needy, somehow Wooyoung could still make out the compassion in every move.

Seonghwa never kept his hands in the same spot or squeezed hard enough to leave a mark, and he would occasionally press long kisses on Wooyoung's shoulders.

All to soon, the alpha's thrusts started to slow as his knot grew bigger. The need was still there, so Wooyoung could tell he was trying to power through it, but it didn't last.

Seonghwa's knot burst inside him, stretching him beyond the max and making him cry out as his insides were filled with a pleasant warmth. He came at the same time, once again spraying the sheets with his seed.

Then Seonghwa leaned forward and pull Wooyoung's back to his chest and reopened the mark on his neck. Wooyoung gasped as pleasure rippled through him again, then turned his head and sank his teeth into Seonghwa's neck.

The alpha gasped as well and held Wooyoung tightly as they both felt a different kind of bond open between them. It was a sense of being complete.

Now they were officially mates. Wooyoung couldn't be happier. He was Seonghwa's omega, and Seonghwa was his alpha. Officially.

His alpha was careful to pick him up carefully, but Wooyoung still whimpered whenever the knot shifted inside him, as they pushed aside the comforter on the bed and settled down under the covers.

The omega purred and felt a smile tear across his face as Seonghwa wrapped his arms around him and started to kiss his mark several times.

He was surprised when he felt something wet rolling down the back of his neck and tried to turn to look at the older, but Seonghwa wouldn't budge from his kisses.

Finally, he heard, "Thank you." It was so soft, Wooyoung thought he might have missed it. "Thank you for giving me a chance. I promise I won't let you down. Thank you."

Now he let Wooyoung turn his head and their lips connected again in a slow and passionate kiss. Wooyoung could taste the salty tears on his alpha's lips and felt his wolf stir again.

"I should be the one thanking you. You could have left me behind, but you didn't. You didn't give up on me. I will follow you forever, Alpha."
