Mingi finished latching the diaper on Grayson before picking him up carefully, "There we go baby boy," he kisses his son's forehead, Grayson was still whining. He did not like having his diaper changed.

"I'll take him," Yunho reaches for him from the bed, he had just finished folding laundry and was resting in their bed.

Mingi hands his son over, the baby was still angry even as Yunho lifts his shirt and begins to feed him. But once he latches and starts to feed he's calm. Someone knocks on the door and Hongjoong peeks his head inside, smiling, "Hey, we're going hunting here in a bit you wanna come?"

"Yeah I'll come," Mingi nods, leaning down to kiss Yunho softly on the lips, "Are you okay to fend for yourself?"

"I do every time you go hunting," Yunho giggles, nuzzling his nose against Mingi's.

Mingi chuckles, leaning down to kiss the dark hair on Grayson's head softly before standing up straight, "Is Seonghwa and Jongho going too?"

"San is instead of Jongho, he wanted to stay behind today," Hongjoong confirms with his second in command before they leave the room. Once they enter the living room, Seonghwa and San both stand and head to the door.

They shift and take off running through the woods, going a different route to hunt than one they normally do to change up their pattern and catch the prey off guard. As they run, they scout the area and Hongjoong remarks old trees when his scent started to fade a little from them.

So Seonghwa, Mingi asks through their link, very glad he can talk to them this way now. It was so much easier, How's everything going with Wooyoung?

What do you mean? Seonghwa huffs, falling in step with the second in command.

Mingi growls slightly, It was a simple mistake!

A mistake you kept doing for two weeks until the owner of the house came out and asked why you were leaving flowers at his door! Hongjoong snickers, Yunho lived right next door to them.

Seonghwa had to do everything he can to hold in a giggle as Mingi grumbles, walking ahead. Hongjoong shakes his head, It's okay, I was actually chased off from Yeosang's house when I was courting him.

Let's just say his father walked in on a very intimate moment that involved my lips leaving hickies on Yeosang's neck, the alpha smirked, His father walked in right as Yeosang started moaning and caught us. I was chased out of the house and off of their property.

Seonghwa chuckles a little and off to be side they heard San huff, his wolf standing from it's laying down position and walking deeper into the woods. Seonghwa frowns, sighing, I know I messed up with San, how can I fix that?

Hongjoong was quiet before he sighs, San needs time. Not sure how much but just be patient.

Seonghwa nods, but before he can respond they see Mingi tense up and sniff the air before turning to San, San stop-

Before the beta can say anything or process what the alpha had said, a loud clank cut through the air and he howls in pain. Hongjoong and Seonghwa race forward, their stomachs drop when they see a large bear trap hooked against his front left leg. San tried to pull his leg out but Mingi growls and towers over him, Sit still!

Mingi shifts into his human form and hunkers down, grabbing the metal jaws of the trap and grunts as he tries to pull the trap apart from San's leg. The beta yelps and tries to jerk his leg again, but Mingi snarls, "San if you keep moving it's going to rip your leg off!"

Hongjoong and Seonghwa shift as well, Seonghwa grabs San's leg and ignoring the beta snarling as Hongjoong helps Mingi pull the trap's jaws apart. The teeth were lodged in San's leg bone, so Seonghwa had to really pull to free him from the teeth. But once San was free, Mingi and Hongjoong release at the same time and the trap shuts loudly with a clank.

San shifts back into his human form, holding his arm as he screams, his bright blue eyes flash behind the tears. His arms as bleeding profusely and Seonghwa could tell his forearm was broken, "FUCK!!!"

"We need to get out of here," Mingi snarls, looking around, "This isn't safe anymore."

"I agree," Hongjoong nods, "Seonghwa carry San back to the house, Mingi we need two long sticks to set off any traps we come across heading back home."

"Already on it," the alpha grabs two long sticks and hands one to Hongjoong, "You take left and I'll take right. We need to move quickly but slowly. No telling how many of these fucking things are hidden."

Seonghwa was still in shock as he picking San up bridal style and started to carry him through the forest. San held his arm close to him as he sobbed and cried out, "Fuck it hurts!! My arm!!"

"I know San we'll get you taken care of," Seonghwa spoke softly, walking right in between Mingi and Hongjoong who were walking around with the large sticks like two blind men. It took them a bit, but they finally made it back to the house with every limb attached unlike San.

Yeosang runs outside along with Jongho, Jongho getting there first and taking San from Seonghwa, "It's okay Sannie I got you."

Yeosang follows them, wanting to look at his arm but Jongho growls in warning. Hongjoong snarls, "Let him look."

Jongho obeys, letting Yeosang tend to San's wounds as Mingi races to the house to find his mate and children. He heard Seonghwa ask Hongjoong what that trap was, and Mingi's stomach drops. He didn't want to have to tell the story again.

It was a story he never wanted to relive, but he and Yunho are cursed with it.
