Since the day of the basement incident, Seonghwa had been trying his best to be the top notch alpha he can be for Wooyoung.

Anytime the omega would show even a hint of exhaustion, he would take Wynter from him and would care for her. Any time his body ached, he drew him a bath like Yeosang had instructed him to do. Seonghwa would even fuss over Wooyoung and make him take naps during the day, the omega was up constantly to feed their baby girl in the middle of the night so Seonghwa didn't see a problem with keeping her when Wooyoung napped or relaxed.

He would hardly let anyone inside the pack hold her. The only one he really trusted was Yeosang, only because the omega showed him how to change a diaper. Hongjoong he trusted a little more as well, considering the alpha was doing his best to work with Seonghwa's status and help him understand what comes with being an alpha.

The one he didn't trust at all was San. The way he put himself between him and his omega and child didn't sit right with Seonghwa and made him have a bad taste in his mouth for San. The beta was really lucky Hongjoong stepped in and broke them up, because he wasn't sure if his wolf would've handled being separated from it's omega and pup.

Even now as he's watching tv with Mingi and Hongjoong, he didn't like how San was awfully close to Wooyoung. Eventually he comes over and takes Wynter from Wooyoung, holding her close to him and getting her away from San. He didn't want San anywhere near his daughter. He couldn't really do anything with his omega and San being near one another.

He held his daughter for a bit, she's been staying awake more during the day and sleeping more at night unless she needed her diaper changed or occasionally needed fed. Which to Seonghwa and Wooyoung, was the best thing ever. She always had to be held until she fell back asleep which isn't so great most of the time.

Her large, bright blue eyes stare around the room as Seonghwa held her against his chest, occasionally her little head will nuzzle into his chest and coo. She is getting to the point where she will grin a little at you if she stares at you for too long.

"Seonghwa?" Hongjoong calls from the doorway of the living room and the alpha turns to look at him. Hongjoong walks over to him, brushing a gentle finger on Wynter's soft head before smiling, "She's getting big already."

"It's hard to believe she's almost three weeks old," Seonghwa pouts, looking down at the baby to catch her yawning, "What did you need?"

"Well I came to see if you wanted to accompany me and Mingi on a hunt," Hongjoong asks quietly, watching as Wynter squirms on his chest.

"Sure, let me find Wooyoung-"

"He's sleeping," Yunho smiles, entering the room rubbing his large belly, "I can take her."

Seonghwa hesitates, and Hongjoong chuckles before patting his shoulder, "Yunho wouldn't hurt a fly, nor a precious baby like her. He'll take good care of her and we know her feeding schedule so he's got milk ready for her in the fridge."

Seonghwa bites his lip, nodding his head before carefully transferring Wynter to Yunho's waiting arms, the baby instantly snuggles up to him and coos happily. Yunho smiles down at her, sitting down on the couch softly as he plays with her tiny hands. Seonghwa sends her one last look before nodding, "Alright, let's go."

"Time to hunt like an alpha," Hongjoong chuckles, patting his shoulder, "With a pack."

"Okay, game plan," Hongjoong crouches down and draws a circle with many x's to represent the herd him and Mingi tracked down. They scouted ahead while Seonghwa stayed back and waited, not being able to communicate with one another is rough.

Hongjoong draws a big X in the dirt with a stick and looks up at Seonghwa, "There's a large buck by the lake that will feed us for weeks. He's our target. Me and you will surround him from the sides and Mingi since he is bigger will make the kill point."

"What's the signal?" Seonghwa asks, biting his lip nervously.

"Trust your instincts," Hongjoong nods, "Okay? Listen to your wolf. It will know when the best time to charge is. Once you make your move, follow through with it, don't hesitate. If you hesitate, you risk scaring them all and potentially hurting or killing us three."

Seonghwa's heart races and Mingi chuckles, "Watch Joong's back legs. When he's getting ready to charge, his legs twitch and not even two seconds later he takes off. The second you see him twitch, you better be ready."

Hongjoong punches Mingi's shoulder and the other alpha chuckles as he dodges the other blows sent by the head alpha. Seonghwa swallows, nodding his head as he takes a deep breath, "Okay. I'm ready."

"You've hunted by yourself, now it's time to learn how to hunt with a pack," Hongjoong smirks, standing to remove his clothes and shifting. Mingi follows him and so does Seonghwa, keeping their words in his head and pumping himself up.

He shakes out his fur and follows on light feet as they move forward and begin to stalk the herd. The large herd of elk stood near the lake as they grazed, not a care in the world. Hongjoong's black and white wolf crouched low to the ground as he watched the herd, picking through them all to find their choice of kill. Mingi moves to a better position, eyes locked on the target as he waits.

Seonghwa and Hongjoong move whenever their target moves, Hongjoong looking to Seonghwa and nodding, stepping on a small twig and making it snap loudly. The buck jerks it head up and freezes, it's ears swivel around to pick up any small sound.

Seonghwa can see it's nose flaring as it scented the air, not smelling or hearing any danger. Seonghwa's eyes trail to Hongjoong's legs and notice they were twitching, and he prepares himself.

Hongjoong charges out of the bushes and Seonghwa follows right behind him. The buck was completely caught off guard and tries to run off, but decides to turn and lower his antlers. Seonghwa growls, feeling his inner wolf take over and he moves to the side to have the buck focus on him while Hongjoong latches onto a hind leg.

The buck screeches for help, but at that moment, Mingi's wolf charged out of the bushes and jumps on it's back. His teeth sink into the buck's neck and with a quick jerk of his head the neck snaps cleanly. Seonghwa charges and uses his strength to knock the buck down to the ground right as Mingi's snapped it's neck, officially killing it off.

Hongjoong unlatched from the leg as he snorts, trotting over to Seonghwa and licking his muzzle. What does that mean? Did he do well? Did he do something wrong? Mingi grabs an antler with his mouth and begins to drag the buck to the bushes.

Hongjoong grabs a front leg and helps, Seonghwa follows behind them and kept look out for any other wolves nearby or anything unusual. When they make it back to the house, Hongjoong shifts back into his human form and changes. He gives Seonghwa a stern look, "Shift."

Seonghwa obeys, pulling his shorts on and shying himself away from Hongjoong's glare. The alpha crosses his arms, keeping up the strong act before he laughs and brings Seonghwa in a hug, "You did incredible!"

"I-I did?!" Seonghwa asks, his excitement bubbling as Mingi shifts and smirks at him, chuckling before continuing to drag the deer to the back yard.

"You did!" Hongjoong smiles, "Not bad for your first pack hunt. Alpha."
