The following morning, as Seonghwa checked on Wooyoung and Wynter, the omega could tell that something was off. He was tense and kept looking at the door. Wooyoung shifted as he moved to feed Wynter, "Seonghwa? What's wrong?"

"Something feel off." The alpha growls, his eyes flash red as he stares at the door. Then he straightened up quickly and he snarls as he moves between Wooyoung and the door.

The omega looked at him, feeling his heart racing. They were in a territory Seonghwa had claimed, why was he acting like this? Unless... Someone had entered their territory?

"Stay here," Seonghwa snarls, opening the door and closing it behind him.

Wooyoung tenses when he hears a warning snarl comes from the alpha. There was definitely someone outside and he could feel Seonghwa's anger rising.

"I mean you no harm!" A distant voice called.

"What are you doing here?"

Wooyoung stood up at Seonghwa's tone and pressed himself against the far wall of their hogan, holding Wynter close to his chest and sliding to the floor.

"My mate and I smelled an omega in distress and we came to investigate, ready to help if needed." The deep voice called. "You know you're about ten miles away from the nearest pack territory? Our territory?"

Wooyoung tried to keep his anxiety under control as Wynter cooed up at him. Her wide eyes looked around the hut and she lifted a tiny hand. He felt himself starting to relax and the same time Seonghwa did. The alpha must not see whoever was outside as a threat...

"My name is Yeosang, I'm a midwife for my pack. The distress we smelled... Was it an omega giving birth?" The visitor said and Seonghwa snarled again, sending off waves of dominate pheromones in warning. "I mean no harm, I wish to help if you let me."

Now felt his own wolf churning inside him. He didn't want anyone touching his baby. Especially not a complete stranger.

"If you so much as harm either one, I'll rip you to shreds along with your alpha." Seonghwa growls. Wooyoung's wolf appreciated the protection, but still Wooyoung pressed himself into the wall.

"I promise I won't harm either one. I just want to make sure the baby is healthy."

Wooyoung feels Seonghwa give in. He heard the visitor's feet crunching in the snow as he walked closer and Wooyoung was finally able to pick up on the fact that it was another omega. But that didn't stop him from snarling viciously as Seonghwa pushed the door open.

"Wooyoung," Seonghwa said, trying to break the tension, "This is Yeosang. He and his alpha smelled your distress from having the baby. He wanted to check and see if you were okay."

"We're fine." Wooyoung snarls, "My baby and I are fine."

"Just let me be sure," Yeosang pleads, "Please. I just want to make sure you're alright and the baby is healthy. I won't be able to rest until I know for sure."

Wooyoung took in the omega's face. He definitely had the look of an omega. He was slim, with a sharp jawline that was strong, but also gave him a more feminine look from the right angle. He had kind eyes, with a birthmark under the left one. And he radiated concern.

"Why do you care?" Wooyoung asked, staring down the omega and he brought Wynter closer to his chest to protect her.

"Because I want to offer you both a home." Yeosang smiles kindly. "A home with beds, food, and warmth. There are even other pups your child can play with as they grow older."

Wooyoung tenses, but then lowers his guard as Wynter starts to whine. Yeosang walked over slowly and sits beside him. He was still on edge, which made sense since he was in a small space with two protective wolves he didn't know, Wooyoung couldn't fault him for that.

When Yeosang reaches for Wynter, Wooyoung growls, then looks to Seonghwa. The alpha nods and Wooyoung sighs heavily in defeat. He hands Wynter over cautiously and watches as Yeosang take her into his arms. The omega smiles down at her while removing the blanket, "Well hello little miss. You're so very beautiful." He coos.

Both Wooyoung and Seonghwa watch as Yeosang checks over their daughter, admiring the cord tied off and the clean work. Her lungs and heart were strong, and she was deemed completely healthy. Yeosang hands Wynter back over and smiles as he stands. "We still have a home available to you both. One with three other alphas, two betas, and three pups. With permission from my alpha, please take the offer and come with me. We'll be more than happy to accept you into our pack. No one deserves to be turned away in our eyes."

Wooyoung glances at Seonghwa and saw the questioning look in his eyes. He was leaving the decision up to Wooyoung.

It sounded nice... Being in a stable location again. But he was also nervous about joining a pack. And he knew Seonghwa would be as well.

Maybe they would stay just for one night and go from there.

He nodded, earning a soft smile from Seonghwa and they turned to follow Yeosang through the trees, leaving their hogan behind.

It was a hard journey with the snow, and Wooyoung was still a little weak, but Seonghwa stayed by his side the entire time and would grab onto his elbows to steady him if he ever slipped.

When they crossed the boarder into the new territory, two alphas stepped forward to greet them. Their eyes drifted over the pair, but then the shorter smiled and held out a hand. "I'm Hongjoong, and this is Mingi. Welcome to your new home."

Wooyoung tensed a little and stepped behind Seonghwa as the alpha accepted the handshake. "Thank you for your offer. But I don't know that we are ready to call it our home yet."

"That's fair." The taller, Mingi said. He intimidated Wooyoung a little bit, and the omega found himself holding Wynter a little tighter.

Thankfully she had fallen asleep on the walk over here.

"We can't force you to stay, but the invitation is there." Hongjoong nodded in understanding before taking Yeosang's hand in his. The loving look he gave the omega made Wooyoung's stomach twist and he glanced up at where Seonghwa was watching the alphas.

Then he looked down at the ground, knowing he would never get that kind of look. Not that he would have gotten it from Rex either. There must be something special about this other omega to get that kind of look... Maybe he had given Hongjoong the three pups here so he was pleased with that. Or he did a cook job cooking and cleaning.

He felt himself shiver from the cold and bit his lip.

"I'm so sorry, please, come with us and let's get you out of this better cold." Hongjoong said quickly before walking, still holding hands with Yeosang, back to the large log house behind them.

Seonghwa stayed next to Wooyoung's side, watching everything wearily, while Mingi followed behind them.

Once inside, Wooyoung felt a pleasant warmth coming from a fireplace in the corner and immediately went over there to sit in front of it after kicking off his boots.

"Are you ok?" Seonghwa asked, coming to kneel in front of him, a concerned look on his face.

"Yeah, just trying to warm up." He hummed, leaning closer to the heat.

Then a large fur was thrown over his back and he looked up to see Yeosang giving him a soft smile of understanding. "We have some extra coats we can give you that will be better than what you had, if you don't decide to stay. But I hope that you do." He said shyly before snapping his head up.

A soft whine came from one of the rooms and he rushed to go check on it.

Hongjoong watched him go, smiling after him. "That would by Irys. She's two, and probably just woke up from her nap." The alpha said, turning back to the pair in front of the fire. "I have another pup, a boy named Asher. And Mingi has a boy named Zaden. The two of them are in the play room right now, I'm sure you'll meet them later."

"Ah!" Mingi said as Wooyoung sensed someone else entering the room. "There you are babe, come here and meet our guests."

A beta the same height as Mingi waddled into the room rubbing his swollen stomach. Wooyoung's eyes widened a little at the sight. "Oh, hello!" The beta flashed them a wide smile as his eyes lit up. "I'm Yunho. It's nice to have some new faces around here."

Mingi pulled the beta into a hug and nuzzled his neck, earning a purr as both rubbed their hands in circles over Yunho's belly.

"Where are the other two?" Hongjoong asked, looking down the hallway that Yunho came from.

"I'm not sure. I think I remember Jongho saying he was going to do a perimeter run. San is probably still in his room." The beta's face fell a little.

Hongjoong hummed and turned to face Wooyoung and Seonghwa. "They are our newest members so they are still settling. Although Jongho is doing well. He is our other alpha and has been with us for about a year. San has only been with us for a few months and is pretty timid, so it'll take some time for him to warm up to you. It took a bit of convincing for him to stay with us but I didn't feel right letting him go out on his own again."

Wooyoung just nodded and glanced back at Seonghwa. The alpha was eyeing everyone cautiously, but there was no sign of them being a threat, so he was still fairly relaxed.

What do you think? The alpha's voice filled Wooyoung's head.

I don't know. They seem nice. But...

I know. We will take it one day at a time. Don't worry, Wynter and you are my first priority. I won't do anything that will put you in danger. Seonghwa said as he gently rubbed the back of their daughter's head and smiled at her.

Wooyoung just nodded, feeling his heart sink a little as he glanced back at where Mingi was whispering in Yunho's ear and Hongjoong was glancing down the hall his omega had gone down.
