Sunflywing glared at Falconclaw as he walked towards her, flicking the tip of her tail in annoyance.

I can't believe I decided to work with him. She thought, narrowing her eyes. I could have killed Robinsky and Gorsestar without his help. Sunflywing remembered when she was made a warrior and went to go kill Robinsky right after her ceremony.

It was the next day in the CedarClan camp and Sunflywing and Falconclaw had decided to talk to each other, even though she really hated him. Falconclaw finally reached Sunflywing and sat down in front of her.

The two warriors were sitting at the edge of camp, both their ears pricked so no one overheard their conversation. Falconclaw looked around, making sure no one was in earshot. He turned to Sunflywing, his gaze full of menace.

"You ready for the trap tonight?" he asked, his voice low. Sunflywing nodded, flicking her ear. The two moved closer together, keeping their heads and voices low "I put foxglove all along the border. All we have to do is wait for someone to report it back to camp."

Sunflywing glanced towards the gorse tunnel. Falconclaw nodded approvingly "Good, now we just have to wait. You know what you have to do, right?" Falconclaw asked, glaring at her. Sunflywing nodded, unsheathing her claws.

I just want to leap at him and kill him right now. But she stayed silent and still. Suddenly, the gorse tunnel swished and Applestripe's patrol came rushing through. His apprentice, Squirrelpaw, hurried after him. Peachsong and Weaselshine raced after the two cats.

"Gorsestar! Come quick!" Applestripe yowled, his eyes wide. Every cat looked up from what they were doing, staring at Applestripe. Gorsestar came out from his den, staring at Applestripe "What's wrong?"

Falconclaw turned back to Sunflywing, nodding his head with a smile. She nodded back, keeping her face serious. Falconclaw raced over to Applestripe's patrol, leaving Sunflywing. She got up, staring at the patrol.

Everyone began to move towards the patrol, mumbling to each other. Sunflywing came over to Lionpaw's side, trying to peer closer "What happened?" Lionpaw asked her, staring up at her. She shrugged, not looking down at him.

"I'm not sure," she lied, knowing exactly what happened. She saw Gorsestar and Falconclaw speaking to Applestripe "I smelt fox all along the border and it's super strong." Applestripe meowed.

"Could this be the fox that is in PondClan?" Falconclaw asked, glancing over at Gorsestar. Gorsestar's tail twitched as he thought of what to do. He turned around, seemingly going back to his den, but he paused.

"Falconclaw, form a patrol. We're going to drive that fox out once and for all." Gorsestar ordered, his eyes narrowed. He padded away, heading inside his den. Sunflywing stared at Falconclaw, her eyes narrowing.

Falconclaw glared back at her, nodding his head slightly. He raced over to the Cedar Ledge, cats beginning to form beneath him. He stood on the deputy's ledge, staring down at the warriors. Sunflywing came to the front of the crowd, staring up at him.

"Sunflywing, Lionpaw, Flintcloud, and Peachsong will come with us to find the fox." Falconclaw meowed. Sunflywing flicked her tail to the other warriors, leading them towards the bramble tunnel.

Falconclaw went over to Gorsestar's den, calling his leader's name. Sunflywing sat down, waiting for Gorsestar and Falconclaw. Sunflywing flicked her ear, waiting for the tom to hurry up and leave.

What's taking him so long? She thought, flicking her tail in annoyance. Falconclaw finally got Gorsestar out of his den and led him towards the other warriors. Sunflywing rolled her eyes, getting to her paws.

Falconclaw and Gorsestar pushed their way through, standing in front of the patrol. They both turned to face the assembled warriors "We'll be back," he began, flicking one ear and turning to Raccoonfur.

"I want you to guard the camp entrance until we get back." Gorsestar meowed to the tom. Raccoonfur dipped his head solemnly, his gaze serious. Gorsestar turned around, staring out into the forest.

He flicked his tail, beginning to walk out of the camp. Falconclaw and Sunflywing followed behind him. Lionpaw and Peachsong followed behind and Flintcloud took the rear. Gorsestar led the patrol through the forest, his gaze dark.

Falconclaw faced Sunflywing, a smile on his face. Sunflywing looked over at him, nodding her head with a creepy smile. Both of them faced forward, their gazes full of menace. This time, he'll die just like Robinsky did.

Falconclaw's eyes suddenly widened, and he turned to Sunflywing "Sunflywing!" he hissed silently. She turned to him "What?" she asked, flicking one ear "Gorsestar might have 6 lives, this is going to be harder to take him down."

Sunflywing had completely forgotten that Falconclaw had told her that Gorsestar might have 6 lives left to live. She thought for a moment, an idea finally hitting her "I know somebody who can help us." she growled, a smile on her face.

Falconclaw stared at her, tilting his head "Cloverdapple and Buzzardtooth can help us." she whispered, keeping her head and voice low. Falconclaw smiled at her approvingly, nodding his head.

They continued walking through the forest, heading towards the PondClan border. Sunflywing? Do you need us? A voice inside her head asked. She could tell that it was Cloverdapple's voice. She had shared a strong connection with the two MeadowClan warriors.

Yes. Meet us at the PondClan border. We're going to kill Gorsestar. She told the she-cat. Cloverdapple's presence disappeared, and she was gone. She must be heading towards us. She thought.

Sunflywing looked around, wondering if she could just slip away. She trotted up to Gorsestar, staring at her leader "Can I go look out closer to the MeadowClan border? I bet it must have a den near the moor since there are a lot of rabbit dens."

Gorsestar lifted his head up and faced Sunflywing. He flicked his ear, staring at her "Are you sure you want to go alone? There might be more of them, and we don't know when they'll come out and attack us."

Sunflywing nodded her head, determined to get away from the patrol "I can go with her, if that's better," Falconclaw offered, coming to Gorsestar's side. He stared back at his deputy, smiling at him "Sure, just let us know if you find anything."

Both cats nodded and began to walk towards the MeadowClan border. Sunflywing smiled the same creepy smile. Say goodbye Gorsestar.
