1. What motivated you to start writing your story? Do you enjoy writing or is it more of a chore for you?

A: The saying I live by is "To live my best life". Ever since, I've always tried to keep in mind and ask myself "how can I live my best life?". I love fashion, and writing is my passion. These are the two things that make me happy, and never make me feel as if I'm "working". Right now, photoshoots are unfortunately not possible what with the virus and so I have found myself writing again!

What motivated me was the wattpad community, and my desire to live the best that I could! I've always wanted to write my own story and connect with various readers out there, and I truly believe that in time, wattpad can grant me the opportunities that would give me the chance to live the best life I possibly could!

I thoroughly enjoy writing since it allows me to be someone I'm not. It gives me a whole new perspective of what life could be. Although sometimes it could be a chore--what with writer's block and all, I'd never give it up. ♡

2. How did you stumble upon Wattpad ? Have you always known about it?

A: I've had wattpad since I was in middle school (lmao we've all been through that phase) and I found out about it through a few classmates! I've been a reader my whole life but wattpad gave me the opportunity to explore the possibilities of being a writer. ♡

3. Who is your favourite writer on wattpad so far? And which book drew you to them?

A: There are so many amazing authors out there! But if I really had to choose, my all time favorite authors are nikki20038 who's work "The Bad Boy and The Tomboy" was the first story on wattpad I ever read, and RobThier for the amazing historical work "Storm and Silence" that absolutely captivated me to the last chapter.

4. What is your aim for your wattpad career? Anything specific you would like to achieve?

A: Currently, my aim is for me to reach plenty of readers who share the same love for mafia stories! But my dream is to be a known author on this platform (and possibly worldwide but baby steps!)

"The trick to getting ahead is to get started." This is another saying I live by, and I've always been ambitious since I was a child. I like to believe that I'd be one of the lucky few who would make it in the world, which is why we all have to start somewhere. ♡

5. Tell us something interesting about yourself that your readers may not know!

A: I'm sixteen years old, I'm an only girl in a family of boys (oof), I absolutely love fashion and aesthetics (love photoshoots), and I'm an incredibly business minded person (or so my friends tell me). ♡

6. How did you choose your wattpad username? Was it challenging or did it just come easily?

A: I've had multiple usernames in the past few years but I absolutely love my current one @vhentii ! It wasn't challenging in the least, it sort of just came to mind one day and it was just so "me" you know? When it feels right, it's just right. ♡

7. Can you name some accounts that have improved your wattpad experience? Eg: friends you may have met here!

A: I'm inspired by KiwiAndKoalas and panickedsociety ! We're not exactly friends friends but I admire them and their works! I'd love to believe we will be friends someday. ♡

8. What is your favourite thing about being on wattpad?

A: The opportunities and being authentically me. I love wattpad's interface and the platform in general but the opportunities that they give are amazing, especially the "Paid Stories" program and a chance to being featured! I believe it was well thought out.

I also love it because I get to meet many readers worldwide and I can be the "realest" me I can be. ♡

9. How did you decide on the plot and title of your current book? Tell us!

A: My current project, "Russian Bastard" was inspired by my love for mafia, mobs, and gang groups. They may be criminal organizations, but I love the stories that these characters can spin when it comes to them. They're not all that they seem, they have their reasons and their stories to tell which is why I love these sorts of books!

The plot mostly came to mind one day, after watching "Peaky Blinders". I loved the series so much that I named my leading lady "Tatiana" after one of the characters!

The title, "Russian Bastard" was inspired by my two leading characters, Tatiana and Zeke. They're both "bastards", born out of wedlock and their stories revolve around their struggles with this and their family drama, and the complications of not knowing who's really someone's family ;) (oops I might have said too much) ♡

10. Is there anything else you would like to say to the audience ?

A: I'm so glad to meet you! I sincerely hope you will give my story, "Russian Bastard" a chance! It is a mafia story featuring Russian, Italian, and French mobs. I poured my heart and soul into it and I hope you'll enjoy it!♡ (Find it on my profile: @vhentii)
