Welcome Ririflower
Let's get into it!
1.What motivated you to start writing your story? Do you enjoy writing or is it more of a chore for you?
I have always seen myself as a writer. I always have a story in my head. I would see a child laughing on the street and come up with a story about why the child is laughing, what he or she is laughing about, what he or she would do after laughing. Writing is a way of expressing myself as I don't talk much in real life and it helps me create a world I can't see.
2. How did you stumble upon Wattpad ? Have you always known about ?
I went through Google play store looking for somewhere to read good stuff and I found Wattpad.
3. Who is your favourite writer on wattpad so far? And which book drew you to them?
My favourite writer has been and is still Kim Herz, the writer of Roommates. Her book was the very first I read when I came on Wattpad and I still love her works.
4. What is your aim for your wattpad career? Anything specific you would like to achieve?
I would love to be a better writer, to be able to express my stories in the way people would enjoy them.
5. Tell us something interesting about yourself that your readers may not know!
I live in Nigeria and I am an avid reader. It took me four years to be able to summon up the courage to write, I was scared of making a mess but now I am doing it and getting better everyday.
6. How did you choose your wattpad username? Was it challenging or did it just come easily?
Ririflower is what my best friend calls me. It's his nickname for Rita so I just went for it.
7. Can you name some accounts that have improved your wattpad experience? Eg: friends you may have met here!
I met Bhumika987 on Wattpad and i have never regretted it. We read each other's works and help when we can.
8. What is your favourite thing about being on wattpad?
I love the fact that there is no restrictions on who can write and what you can write. I also appreciate the constructive criticism I get every now and then, it keeps me going.
9. How did you decide on the plot and title of your current book? Tell us!
It just came to me really. I was just lost in thought thinking what it would be like living in the 18th century as a princess and what challenges a princess of that century could face. The title of the book, purple blood just represents royal blood as purple color stands for royalty.
10. Is there anything else you would like to say to the audience ?
Creating a world in your head, putting it into writing and showing it to the world can be the best feeling. Maybe you could try it sometime.
