About me

Hi, I'm Snowdrop.I have worked as a freelance professional editor and I've never had a disgruntled client. The services I provide here are minimal, though they are highly beneficial.I have edited a plethora of genres, and I enjoy editing because I love the act of storytelling, of dissecting a story into its essential elements, and then helping the writer reassemble them into something beautiful (which is why I am drawn to developmental editing.)  On the other hand, there's line editing. To me, words are not just words - they must sing in tune with the writer's voice, intent, and characterization - this I can help you with. I can also make a basic style sheet for your story sans the grammar decisions.My style of editing involves lots of note-taking and communication with you, the writer. I never push my wants on you, but I try to understand your wants. 

 Additionally, after I accept your request, I shall wait for payment before my service is provided. This is to safeguard me from those who are prone to running away after receiving an edit. I look forward to working with you.

For developmental editing specifically:You will read 10 chapters of any of my ongoing stories while leaving meaningful comments. Minimum of 3 comments. 

For line editing specifically:You will read as many chapters of my ongoing story as I edit for you. You will also leave meaningful comments in each chapter you read. Minimum of 3 comments.

Depends on chapter length, but most likely 2 chapters a week
