"Are you excited for this?"

Amber turned to face Corpse, a smile on her face as she thought about the song she had written. She nodded and sat next to him, turning on the TV as they watched a movie.

"I-I'm nervous," she sighed, playing with her cup in her hands. "It's just crazy to believe that-that I'm going to have a song out there, ya' know? It's nerve wracking."

"Everybody is going to love it," Corpse reassured her. "As long as you love it, that's all that matters. But, trying to calm you down, how's that annoying boyfriend of yours?"

"His name is Clay," Amber chuckled, flicking him on the forehead. Corpse giggled at hearing her words and snorted, letting her continue. "But he's doing fine. Did you ask him for—"

"The picture that Karl and I used for your song?" He hummed and Amber nodded, staring at him. The curly-headed man moved his head up and down. "Yeah. He didn't know what to choose so he just gave us that picture. You guys were really whipped for each other, huh?"

"We still are," she smiled, rolling her eyes at him. "But, he called me yesterday night and he told me how he had given you two a picture. He just wanted to make sure I was okay that he gave it to you and I'm like... Go for it since it's just our hands and no one will know."

"I just appreciate that he asks for your consent," Corpse said. "He respects you and you respect him. You guys communicate which is important."

"He's so amazing," Amber gushed. "Like, yeah, we just started dating, but you know when you know you want someone in your life. He's very understanding and funny. His friends are my friends, too, and I get along with them well, and I hope, I hope, you can all get along with him, too."

"Fine," Corpse groaned before crossing his arms. He huffed. "Call him right now. I want to speak with him."

"But your face," Amber pointed out. "Oh, wait."

Amber grabbed her phone and called Dream, the man answering in a matter of seconds. He smiled at her and waved. "Hi, kitten."

"Kitten?" Corpse questioned and Dream's eyes widened.

"Is that Corpse?" Amber nodded. "Oh, my God.... Hi, Corpse."

"Hi, Dream."

"So, I was calling because Corpse wants to become friends with you," Amber smiled. "I'm going to disable the camera and you can, too, if you don't feel comfortable showing your face either, but I'm just telling you I'm turning off the camera."

"Yeah, it's fine," Dream nodded, disabling his. Amber did so, too, and handed the phone back to Corpse, his rings making a nose against her phone case.

"So, what's this nickname?"

Dream blushed, running a hand over his face. "Well, I told Amber two days that she reminded me of a kitten and I just started calling her that."

"Ah," Corpse let out. "I thought it was going to have to do with some kinky shit or something."

"Oh, God," Amber covered her burning face and ignored the way the two faceless men laughed at her reaction. "It was just an adorable nickname that I like."

"Mmm, I wonder why," Corpse smirked at her. "Fine, I'll stop teasing, but... What's your nickname, Dream?"

"Amber only calls me by my real name which is Clay," he answered. "I don't make her call me nicknames if she's not comfortable with that, yet. What's yours, Corpse?"

"My nickname?" Dream hummed in response. "I don't know. Amber calls me Corpsie or Bruder. Depends what she's feeling. She usually calls me big head, too."

"No, I don't!" Amber exclaimed.

"She's a bully, Dream," Corpse dramatically sniffed before fake sobbing. "This is-These are her true colors."

"I'll buy you boba!" Amber whispered out loud, cowering as he continued fake sobbing and Dream was laughing. "Just stop before you wake Alani up."

"Oh, how is she by the way?" Dream asked.

"Well, she's 8 months already," Amber replied. "I'm preparing everything. I fixed the crib, the room, everything. I have to prepare the bag, too, and I'm finished. I'm very excited, though. Just one more month!"

"The fact that you're doing more stuff for the baby than your actual sister is concerning to me," Dream let out another hum of agreement to Corpse's words.

"It's fine, guys," Amber smiled. "I just don't want her to stress out. I know she's just as excited for this just as I am."

"We're all very excited."
