CHAPTER TWO

It was hard being a 22 year old mother with no help from pretty much everyone , before Ana was more Amelia had a best friend , Bella who had helped her throughout everything in life. The two were close.

Until Amelia got with Nik...Bella drifted away from Amelia and didn't speak to her for a whole 2 years which was when Amelia realised Bella had feelings for nik and she couldn't help but feel guilty for the fact she got with a boy her friend liked.

But now she realises , it wasn't her fault at all... she had no reason to be guilty of something she didn't know.

Chris and Allison had been the only two people besides Derek , Lydia alongside Stiles and Scott who had truly stuck by her throughout raising a child alone.

Amelia tensed slightly in her seat as she drove past the woods  , she hasn't been here in 3 months due to the fact only 2 people knew of her being a werwolf... them two people being Allison and Chris.

She knew they wouldn't rat her out to the argents or any psychical hunter that came along , the reason Nik and Amelia hit it off so easily was because he also like her came from a long line of Hunters.

The difference was Amelias family loved her ( even if most of them didn't know ) where as Niks family hated him , he was seen as a disappointment during his childhood which what made him turn into a heartless monster as Amelia saw him.

Ana didn't know of her fathers past of reputation , amelia prayed she'd never know. Although she knew one day Ana would find out. Amelia put her drink down as she received a text from Allison.

she smiled before replying a simple "nearly there' and got back to driving in her thoughts.

If any knew of her fathers reputation of killing etc , it would break her heart knowing she wanted to know him but he turned out to be the opposite of her fairy tale.

Ana had her own imagination of her father and it was every 5 year olds mind , a perfect life,

but if she really knew who he was , it would be the complete opposite.

Amelia hated knowing her daughter thought her father was a perfect man but of course he was not , in the tiniest day.

Amelia smiled as she made her way out of the car with her sleeping daughter in her arms , she was currently on her way to the mccall house as Allison had messaged her and told her where to go.

Knocking on the door it immediately opened revealing Allison , Scott and Lydia alongside stiles.

"I missed you!" Allison squealed hugging her older sister.

"I miss you too" Amelia beamed happily.

Ana begin to stir in Amelia's arms from the voices , tapping her arm amelia woke her up.

"Auntie Allie" Ana shouted running for Allison and signaling she wanted picking up.

After the reunion Amelia , Allison and Ana drove home to be greeted by Victoria and Chris who were beyond happy there daughter and granddaughter were home.

"We missed you" Chris smiled at Ana as Ana hugged everyone tiredly.

"Come on monkey" Amelia picked Ana up taking her for a bath,

After Ana was bathed Amelia got her dressed into there pjsrmas and laid into Amelias old bedroom that had been redecorated ready for them.

Ana hated sleeping without her mother so she often ( all the time ) slept with Amelia.

She was scared of the 'monsters' , no matter how many times amelia assured her and checked it never seemed to sink into Anas head.

Amelia stayed until she heard the soft snores coming from her daughter , she smiled gently getting out of bed.

Careful not to wake anyone she walked downstairs to find her father sitting on the sofa with a cup of tea,

"What are you doing awake?" Chris asked.

"Not tired" Amelia answered when in fact , she was absolutely exhausted.

"I'm proud of you" Chris blurted out after s few moments of silence.

"For raising a child young on your own" he continued with a slight smile.

"Thank you , I'm quite proud of my self too" she admitted.

"Has she recently been asking about her father?" Chris questioned hinting that he was talking about Ana.

"Sometimes , I think she's afraid to ask about him" Amelia stated sadly.

"Why?" Chris asked confused at what had changed , Just s few weeks ago Ana wouldn't stop asking about her father.

"I'm not exactly happy when I answer her questions... I think she knows that. She's afraid she might upset me I believe" Amelia sighed.

"She'll ask again eventually I'm sure" Chris assured her , he knew Amelia wanted ana to know the happy things of her father.

"I hope so" Amelia smiled.

"Well I'm off to bed" Chris said as he kissed her cheek and walked off to bed.

Amelia decided to go to bed not long after , slipping some comfy pjarmas on and climbing into bed with her sleeping daughter.

She looked over at her daughters features smiling as she thought of a old memory between nik and Amelia.

"jack aaa" young amelia muttered breathlessly after nik has won in a racing game.

"I'm gonna marry you one day" nik blurted out as he watched her face for any disagreement.

"I sure hope so" she laughed running off.

She smiled slightly as she thought of the promises her promised the 15 year old girl , years later he still hadn't kept a single one.

She wouldn't admit it out loud but.. she was still madly in love with the boy , how couldn't she be? He was her first love along with her daughters father.

She knew one day she'd stop loving him , even if it took years and years.

But one day , she wouldn't have to thing about him without thinking of every happy memory the two shared when they were younger.

One day , she hoped he wouldn't be the man she thought about every night.
