"Papa..! Mama theek ho jayen ge na?"Manvi
asked Manik and he just nodded,then Manvi
again rested her head back on his chest.
They both were sitting in front of ICU on a
bench. Fab4,Mr&Mrs
Malhotra,Chacha,Chachi and Rishab all were
roaming here and there. While Papa
daughter were continuously crying. Manik
was feeling himself dead..!! He wanted to
scream..!! As loud as he could..!! But for
Manvi he controlled himself..!!
"Manvi..!! Maushi ki princess..!! Chalo kuch
kha lo..!!"Mukti once again tried to feed her
something but she shook her head and
hugged Manik tightly.
"No..!! I don't want to eat anything..!!"Manvi
shouted and Mukti look at Manik helplessly.
He nodded his head and took the burger
from Mukti's hands.
"Papa ki jaan thora sa kha lo..!! Please
Papa kay liye..!!"Manik said lovingly
controlling himself and his tears. Manvi look
at him and he smiled at her. She didn't
denied her Papa's wish and quietly ate half
from Manik's hands. Then after eating half
she took the half from Manik's hand and
feed it to Manik. Although Manik didn't
wanted to eat anything but he obeyed and
eat the other half. All smiled between their
tears on seeing the love. Mukti pated
Manvi's head and suddenly she realized
something.
"Manik..!! Manvi ko fever hai..!!"Mukti said
in a panicking voice and Manik became
horrified. He too touched her forehead and
gulped his saliva. Manvi really had high
fever. All run towards them and each of
them touched Manvi's forehead.
"God..!! What's happening..!!"Manik said
with teary eyes.
"Manik..!! Chal Manvi to doctor kay pass lay
kar chalty hain..!!"Cabir suggested and
Manik got up. In same hospital they went to
a doctor and he checked Manvi.
"It's ok Manik...!! Due to constant crying and
not eating anything this happened..!! I will
give her an injection she will be
fine..!!"Doctor said politely.
"Injection..!!"Manik and Manvi freaked out
in Unison. Manvi hugged Manik in fear.
Manik too was afraid so he unconsciously
tried to hide her in his arms as much as he
could. MukBir smiled on the cuteness.
"Koi medicine day dain doctor..!!"Manik
pleaded.
"Ok..!! No problem with me..!! Main tou bus
bool raha tha that she will recover soon..!!
But medicines bhi ok..!!"Doctor said
smilingly and ManVi sighed in releif. After
getting medicines Mukti and Alya with lots
of efforts feed Manvi medicines. Then Manvi
snuggled in Manik's arms and due to
medicines she drifted to sleep. And once
again Manik started thinking about
Nandini..
"I will slip from your hands aur tm kuch nahi
kar paoa gay..!!" Nandini's words echoed in
his mind. He closed his eyes as the tears
again rolled down his cheeks.
"Nandini..!! I will die that day when you will
not talk to me..!!"
"Nandini kay aiyapaa please meri
Nandini mjy wapas kar do..!!"Manik prayed
and look at the little angel. She was
peacefully sleeping clinging to him. She was
so young to handle even a little stress that
she got fever. Manik caressed her forehead
and kissed her cheeks.
"Nandini..!! Please..!! Come to me..!! Come
for US..!! Main aur Manvi nahi reh skty
tmhry begair..!!"Manik thought painfully.
"Mama..!! Mama..!!"Manvi murmured in her
sleep and Manik became worried. Suddenly
murmurs turned into screams.
"Manvi..!! Baby get up..!!"Manik said
worriedly and all rushed towards them.
Manvi opened her eyes she had tears in
them.
"Papa..!! Mama..!! Thoon(khoon)...!!
Mama..!! Mama gil(gir) gai..!!"Manvi shouted
and Manik hugged her tightly.
"Bus baby...!! Mama theek ho jayen ge..!!
Papa hain na ap kay pass..!! Bus..!! Shh..!
Papa ki jaan..!! Papa ka brave
baby..!!"Manik consoled the little one but he
himself was crying. Alya came forward and
touched Manvi's shoulder.
"Manvi..!! Let's go home..!!"She said politely.
Mukti too came and stood beside Alya.
"Haan..!! Manik hum Manvi ko ghar lay jaty
hain..!!"Mukti said as now Manvi was again
drifting to sleep. Manik nodded and Mukti
carefully picked up Manvi in her arms.
Manik kissed her whole face lovingly then
Mukti and Alya took her with them,Dhruv
too went with them. Manik again sat on the
bench and closed his eyes. Mr.Malhotra sat
beside him and patted his shoulder.
"Manik..!! Hosla kar..!! Tu bohat weak par
raha hai..!!"Mr.Malhotra said in a serious
tone.
"Dad..!! Meri strength is wakt ICU main
zindagi aur moat ki kasmakash main hai..!!
Ap nay suna ni doctor nay kya kaha hai?
She got a head injury..!! Agr usy agly 12
hours main hosh na aya tou wo us kay liye
kuch nahi kar payen gay..!!"Manik said
painfully,his heart was bleeding..!!
Mr.Malhotra was asking him to get strong..!!
How could someone be so strong..!! Seeing
your love..!! Your lifeline on an ICU bed
was not easy..!! Mr.Malhotra hugged him.
Manik cried like a two year old kid hiding
his face in Mr.Malhotra's arms.
"Dad main mar jaoan ga...!! Agr usy kuch ho
gya tou main kaisy zinda rahoon
ga..!!"Manik said between his sobs. Suddenly
he felt a tap on his shoulder and look at the
person. NAYONIKA..!!
"Manik..!! Beta..!! Nandini bilkul theek
ho jye ge..!! Tum apny oper control
rkho..!!"She said a low voice and Manik
jerked her hand away.
"That what you want na? Mjy,meri biwi and
meri beti ko takleef main dekh kar bohat
khush ho na tum..!!"Manik said in a high
pitch and Nayonika shook her head. She
knelt in front of Manik and held his hands.
"Manik..!! I am sorry..!! Just once trust me..!!
I have changed beta..!! Please..!! I want you
to be happy..!!"Nayonika said crying hard
and Mr.Malhotra patted her shoulder. Manik
was confused now he had never saw
Nayonika crying this hard.
"Fine..!! But please..!! Abhi mj say koi baat
mat karo..!!"Manik said in a low voice and
gently freed his hands from her grip. She
quietly got up and sat beside Mr.Malhotra.
Mr & Mrs Malhotra had
asked Chacha, Chachi to go back home. Now
there was only Manik,Cabir and Rishab with
Nayonika and Mr.Malhotra.
Each passing second was turning into
minutes and each passing minute was
turning into hours. Manik's anxiety and
depression was increasing. Doctor had gave
a deadline of 12 hours for Nandini..!
According to doctor if Nandini don't come
back in her conscious in next 12 hours then
she will be in a coma or may be DEAD..!! As
she had got a sever head injury. Now only
two hours were left in that deadline and
Manik's heart beat was getting slower with
each tick tick of watch. He got up from the
bench and look inside the ICU room from
the window.
"Nandini..!! Please come back..!! I want
you..!! Itne mushkil say tou hum phr mily
thy..!! You can't leave like this right?
Tum ny apny baby monster say promise kiya
tha..!!"Manik murmured painfully. Nandini
was lying unconscious,drips,monitor wires
attached to her body,a nurse was
noticing the readings..!. She was in pain..!!
So as Manik..!! At last, last hour of the dead
line started and Manik's face was now
expressionless..!! He was quiet now..!
Mr.Malhotra tried to talk to him but he
didn't talked to him..! Mr.Malhotra became
worried at least few hours ago he was
crying..!! He was letting it all out..!! But now
he was quiet..! That was disturbing..!! He
knew that his son was in pain but maybe he
too failed in guessing the depth of his
pain..!!

Nandini opened her eyes..! She was wearing
a white gown..!! White light everywhere..!!
White curtains..!! White passage..!! White
roses..!! It was some kind of Valley..!! A
creature who had wings came in front of
her..!! Bright white light was emerging from
his body..! He was not a human..!! It looks
like he was light..!! White light..!!His
features were very visible..! But she was
confused? Who was he? Angel? Devil? Was
she imaging or he was real..!! She was
standing exactly in the middle of the
Valley..! She stared at the angel he smiled at
her..!! He was beautiful she guessed..!! He
pointed towards her right side she look at
the pointed side it was beautiful..!!
Breathtaking view..!! It was HEAVEN..!! The
angel was offering her to go there..! His
expressions were like as if he was asking her
whether she wanted to go or not? She
bobbed her head excitedly that she wanted
to go..!! Angel smiled and offered her to
show her way by extending his hand..!! She
was about to held his hand when
two familiar voices stopped her.
"Nandini..!!"The voice was familiar..!! She
thought..!! MANIK..!!
"Mama..!!"Manvi's voice..!!
She turned her head. She saw Manik and
Manvi..!! Manik was wearing white jeans
and pants while Manvi was in same white
gown..! They were waving at her..!! Maybe
they were asking her to come back..!! She
look at the angel he was just smiling..!! Now
she was in a fix? Family or heaven?
"Choice is yours..!"She heard a divine
voice...! She look at the angel did he spoke?
No..!! Then? She again look at Manik and
Manvi they had tears in their eyes..! She
became restless..!! Her both babies were
crying..!! Maybe because of her..!! Or maybe
for her?
"My family is my heaven..!!"Finally she
spoke..!! Angel's smile became more bright
and he nodded his head. Then he pointed
towards Nandini's family as if giving her
permission to go back to them. She became
happy and run towards Manik and Manvi.
They too became happy and they run
towards her.
"Manik..!!"She shouted and the DREAM
broke..!! She came back to reality..!! Where
was she? Then she felt a female figure
bending over her. What was she doing?
Everything was so blurry for Nandini..!!
"Patient ko hosh aa gya..!!"She heard that
female's shout and shrugged her head to
recollect everything. She was running for
Manik and Manvi..!! Then her foot slipped..!
Maybe she fell..!! Then? Everything was
blank..!! Then she was about to go to heaven
with that angel? But she came back for her
family..!! Yeah..!! Maybe she was in hospital
and that female was nurse..!! That means
her family will be out there..!! Manik..!!
Manvi..!! She smiled thinking of them..!!
Although her head was aching like hell but
she was so eager to hold her baby love in
her arms and wanted to hide herself in her
love's arms. She started staring at door..!!
Desperately waiting for Manik..!!
