𝐍𝐨𝐰 𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. . .

NORA MIKAELSON WAS BORN WITH stardust swiped across her eyelids and a smile as radiant as the sun. She was pure. She was innocent. But what is innocent can always be corrupted. And even though she wouldn't show it, she had been a corrupted soul from the very beginning.

When their mother had turned her siblings and father into the first vampires to exist, her fate had been sealed. Nora would forever be a soul tainted with darkness, and there was nothing she could do about it. She grew to learn that to spill blood was her nature. It was her true self, it's what being a vampire meant: to survive, they had to kill.

Nora and her younger brother, Kol, were similar in the sense that they both rather enjoyed the rush of taking someone's life. Maybe that's why they had always been so close, because they shared so many similar emotions and opinions. And because they were so close, they shared many experiences together. The sheer number of bodies that dropped lifelessly to the ground over the course of the millennium they had been alive for caused Nora and Kol to be lulled to a temporary sleep by their brother Niklaus' magical silver daggers numerous times.

Almost a hundred years after one of the slumbers, Nora and Kol are awoken to find themselves in Mystic Falls. With the Original family running rampant in the small town, of course they were going to run into trouble eventually. They shouldn't have been too surprised when it did finally happen. A piece of Nora's soul was ripped out of her body when she watched her brother be stabbed with the white oak stake by Jeremy Gilbert. She watched helplessly as Kol was drained of the life within him.

The Gilbert siblings were dealt with a fate most would never wish upon their worst enemies. Of course, Nora then found herself at the hands of Niklaus' dagger yet again. She wasn't surprised this time; perhaps she deserved it.

Another peaceful slumber is brought upon the woman. However, when she opens her eyes, she's smacked right in the face by shock. Not only have her family brought her to New Orleans with them, but they aren't alone. This strange werewolf pregnant with Klaus' miracle child might just kill the entire family from anxiety and stress, but there's a good chance that Hayley Marshall might save them all instead.

And God knows Nora Mikaelson could use some redemption.

Ok this is so exciting I have not been able to stop thinking about this book. I am genuinely so obsessed with the plot and have SO many ideas about where this is going to go, and I hate that it can't just magically right itself, like what do you mean I have to do it all 😔

Also, I'm very very aware about Nate Buzz and do not support him whatsoever. Sadly I can't picture anyone else as Kol, and as much as I loved Daniel as him, it just didn't feel RIGHT. I can't explain it. So seperate the actor from the character, or feel free to imagine him as someone else.

This book will be a slow burn and for once in my life will include a ridiculous amount of angst... so buckle in.

Also:
- Hayley is singlehandedly the best character to come out of the TVDU (except Bonnie). Fight me.
- Davina is my baby
- I will support Rebekah until the end of time
- Cami deserved better.
- And Aurora is so not straight like come on
