Third Person POV

"James I need you Meowth to sabotage the blue haired coordinator wannabe."

Said Jessie through her walkie talkie.

"What do you want us to do?"

Asked James nervously.

"Just follow my instructions. We need to make sure that Serena wins and that Dawn loses."

Said Jessie.

"But Jess why do you want blonde twewpette to make it?"

Asked Meowth.

"Because I made a deal with Ursula and she wants revenge on Dawn and in return she would help me make it into the finals."

Said Jessie.

"What should we do?"

Asked James.

"Just follow Ursula's instructions. She will connect to you through the walkie talkie. She'll even lend you her Pokemon."

Said Jessie.

"Okay Jess."

Said Meowth.

"Excellent."

Said Jessie with an evil smirk plastered on her face.

Meanwhile Dawn stood backstage waiting for her battle to begin while the announcer's voice boomed through the stadium.

"It's time for our second battle in the first round battles. To my right it's Serena Yovonne! And to my left it's Dawn Berlitz!"

Said the announcer:

"Trainers please take your places."

Said the ref.

"His will be a double contest battle! The trainer that has the most points before the clock runs out wins! Trainers you have five minutes on the class clock now begin!"

Shouted the announcer.

"Okay Panchem and Braixen it's your turn its show time!"

Shouted Serena releasing her two Pokemon.

"Okay Piplup and Togakiss Spotlig-"

Then all of a sudden Dawn tripped and fell on her face and dropped her two Pokeballs releasing her two Pokemon with a sloppy entrance.

"Miss Berlitz are you alright?"

Asked the announcer.

"Yeah I'm fine."

Said Dawn trying to get up.

James and Meowth snickered as they used Vivivion's strong shot to trip Dawn on the stage.

"Ursula lending us her Vivion was a great idea!"

Said James.

"Yeah it suwe was!"

Said Meowth.

"Stop dilly dallying I want to get to the fun part."

Said Ursula smirking through her walkie talkie.

"Okay Panchem use Dark Pulse on Piplup and Braixen use Flamethrower on Togakiss!"

Shouted Serena.

"Piplup block it with whirlpool! And Togakiss use Sky Attack!"

Shouted Dawn.

Then Piplup got caught and tripped on the stage and started flailing in anger.

"Oh no! Piplup please stop!"

Said Dawn.

"Wow how embarrassing. I feel bad for her."

Muttered Aracel under breath in a sympathetic tone.

Dawn could hear and she started panicking.

"Guys we have to pull it together!"

Shouted Dawn getting flustered.

The crowd started to laugh as Piplup still continued to flail on the ground.

"This is just so embarrassing!"

Shouted Dawn almost in tears.

"Now Braixen use Psychic and Pancham stone edge on Togakiss."

Said Serena.

Psychic began to cause the stones to glow and hurled them at Piplup and Togakiss.

"Wow a beautiful combination attack!"

Said Aracel.

"Wow I love the Team work between Braixen and Pancham!"

Said Nurse Joy.

"Remarkable!"

Said Mr. Suziko.

Dawn watched helplessly as her points plummeted.

"No this isn't how we practiced."

Said Dawn covering her face in embarrassment.

"This is going great!"

Said Meowth.

"Yes now let's have a little more fun! Why not a little round Togakiss and Piplup up."

Said James.

"I like the sound of that."

Said Meowth.

Vivion used string shot more on the field and Piplup and Togakiss were stuck to together.

"No no no!!!"

Shouted Dawn.

"Serves you right Dee Dee! Good work you two this plan is turning out great!"

Said Ursula smirking in the audience.

"So I see what you're doing! You're trying to make Dawn look bad!"

Shouted Mira at Ursula.

"So what! Serves her right for humiliating me at that party last night!!! What proof do you have!!!"

Shouted Ursula.

"None yet but I'll find some!"

Said Mira stomping off.

"This plan is so great! Jessie will be so proud of us!"

Said James in glee.

"Watch out for Mira you two she's onto us."

Sais Ursula through the walkie talkie.

"that's not good."

Said James while panicking.

"But this is fun to watch."

Said Meowth.

"It sure is."

Said James while laughing.

"So you guys are the ones messing this up I should've known!!!"

Shouted Lillian with her hands on her hips.

James' happy expression changed to a horrified one when he saw Lillian, Drew, and Gladion standing behind him.

"So you're the ones that locked May in the storage closet!"

Shouted Drew.

"No that was all Ursula!"

Shouted James.

"Yeah we take credit fowe this!!! This is such riot!!!"

Shouted Meowth while laughing.

"You two hit an all new low Charizard use flamethrower!!!"

Shouted Lillian.

Charizard's flamethrower hit Vibio knocking it out completely.

"Now I know what's next!"

Shouted James in fear.

"Type: Null use Tri Attack!"

Shouted Gladion.

Type: Null's Tri attack sent Team Rocket and Vivion flying.

"We're blasting off again!"

Shouted James and Meowth in unison.

"Glad that's over with!"

Said Lillian.

"Time's up!"

Said the judge.

Dawn looked up in horror at the score bored.

"And the winner is.... Serena!"

Shouted the announcer.

"Way to go you two!!!

Shouted Serena running over to embrace her two Pokemon.

"Man we were too late..."

Said Drew sadly.

"Well at least we stopped them from embarrassing Dawn even more."

Said Gladion.

"Yeah but I have a feeling that this isn't over quite yet."

Said Lillian.

Aracel looked up at Dawn with Sympathy. She felt bad for her but something seemed strange. Aracel had seen snippets of Dawn on TV performing and she did a lot better than she did today.

She could feel that something was up. She dialed Lillian's phone number into her pink and black iPhone and called Lillian.

Lillian who was still above the stage felt her phone ring in her back pants pocket. It was Aracel calling her.

"Hey Aracel."

Said Lillian.

"Something's up! Dawn's never performed that poorly before!"

Said Aracel.

"That's because Team Rocket messed up her performance so that Ursula could get her revenge on Dawn by sabotaging her performance!"

Said Lillian.

"That's absolutely horrible!"

Shouted Aracel.

"Keep your eye out for Ursula. I have a feeling she wants to get back at Mira."

I said.

"Right."

Said Aracel hanging up.

Lillian and the others watched as the other coordinators advanced to the next round. Soledad, Serena and Plumaria had advanced along with Jesseleene and Ursula.

Soledad had beaten Ursula in the third round while Harley had lost to Mira against her Krookadile and Sephiver who were just too strong. Then before they knew it it was the last battle in the fourth round.

Serena had beaten Soledad and advanced to the final round. There was only one battle left and that was Mira .v. Jessaleene.

"Malamar use Psychic and Yamega use Steel Wing!"

Shouted Jessaleene.

"Dodge it! Sephiver use Flamethrower and Krookadile use crunch!"

Shouted Mira.

Both Mira'a attacks knocked out Jessaleene's Malamar and Sephiver.

"And that's it advancing to final is Mira!"

Shouted the announcer.

"Wow Mira's good!"

Said May from the audience.

"Well she beat me so she has to beat good."

Said Harley.

"Don't get too full of yourself."

Said Drew.

"Haha me?! You're the most arrogant guy I've ever met!"

Said Harley.

"He's right you know."

Said May.

"Oh whatever."

Said Drew rolling his eyes.

Lillian stood there and watched Mira congratulate her Pokemon.

"You are stool suspicious of her?!!!! She helped you guys for peats sake!!!"

Shouted Lillie.

"She just seems familiar."

Said Gladion.

"Oh my Arceus Gladion let it go!"

Shouted Lillie crossing her arms.

"When something bad happens you'll be thanking me for being so observant."

Said Gladion.

Type: Null rolled his eyes at his arrogant trainer and crawled up Lillian's lap.

"Type: Null your too big for my lap!"

Said Lillian pushing him off.

Type: Null growled but sat down on the floor next to Gladion. Gladion sighed and pet Type: Null on the head and he snuggled up against Gladion.

"You're sweet."

Said Gladion petting his partner.

Calem gazed over at Lillian and looked at her and began to blush. Gary pulled Calem aside and whispered in his ear.

"She's beautiful isn't she?"

Asked Gary causing Calem to flinch and blush.

"Don't act like you think I don't know because I know."

Said Gary.

"Yeah so I like her but she's the champion of Kalos and she's way out of my league and just look at her she's beautiful!"

Said Calem whispering to Gary.

"You need need more confidence Calem."

Said Gary while sighing.

"What do you know?! Do have girls you like?!"

Shouted Calem.

"There's one girl..."

Said Gary while starring at Misty.

"So you like Misty than?"

Asked Calem.

"What she's hot."

Said Gary while slightly blushing.

"You have any love rivals Calem?"

Asked Gary.

"What do you mean?"

Asked Calem.

"You know other guys that have a thing for the Kalos Champion."

Said Gary.

"Oh there's two of them..."

Said Calem while glaring at Gladion who was making Lillian laugh.

"If you don't do something about it than he'll get your girl."

Said Gary.

"Lillian's not my girl."

Said Calem.

"But she could be."

Said Gary.

Calem sighed and looked over at Lillian.

"Man she has a cute laugh."

Said Calem while blushing.

"Well don't just do nothing! Go over there speak to her!"

Said Gary pushing Calem into Lillian's lap.

"I'm so sorry."

Said Calem sounding super embarrassed while glaring at Gary.

Gary winked and gave Calem a thumbs up.

"No you're okay."

Said Lillian while blushing.

Gladion rolled his eyes at Calem and glanced over at Selene who was waiting for Serena's battle to start.

"Uh Calem could you get off of my lap?"

Asked Lillian.

"Y-yeah."

Said Calem hopping off of Lillian's lap and back into his seat.

"Yeah... Real smooth..."

Said Gary while laughing at his best friend.

"It's your fault!"

Said Calem slapping Gary on the shoulder.

"I didn't know that you guys were super close."

Said Misty.

"Yeah we're childhood friends much like Lillian and Alain, we're pretty close."

Said Calem.

"I wish I had a friend like that."

Said Mairin.

"You don't have friends like that?"

Asked Alain.

"No as a kid I got teased all the time."

Said Mairin.

"That stinks Mairin. I'm sorry."

Said Alain.

"But I have you guys and especially you Alain."

Said Mairin causing Alain to blush.

Alain grabbed the earring that was in his jacket pocket and looked at it. He began to worry about Iona and glanced over at the stage.

"Alain what's wrong?"

Asked Lillian.

"Oh it's nothing I'm just thinking about Iona."

Said Alain.

"IONA?!"

Shouted Gladion.

"You know her?!"

Asked Alain.

"She used to be our neighbor until she ran away to Kalos. She was friends with Lillie, Lusamine and I."

Said Gladion.

"Lusamine was friends with her too?"

Asked Alain.

"Yeah she was. Then Lusamine just lost it ever since Colress showed up to help us."

Said Gladion putting air quotes around the word help.

"We'll go check out the Aether foundation this week but I'll go with Ash, Alain, and Aracel so it won't be suspicious."

Said Lillian.

"I want to go!"

Said Gladion.

"You're not going because it's not safe for you!"

Said Lillian.

"I don't want to go!"

Shouted Lillie.

"I didn't say you had to go."

Said Lillian.

Then something began to move in Lillie's bag and Lillie smacked her bag.

"Lillie what's in your bag?"

Asked Gladion.

"N-nothing."

Said Lillie.

"Lillie what it is in your bag?!"

Asked Gladion.

Gladion's POV

Lillie grabbed me by the arm and pulled me aside into the hallway where we could talk privately.

"What is it?"

I asked.

Lillie sighed and opened the bag and revealed a sleeping Cosmog in her bag.

"Y-y-you took Cosmog! Lillie what were you thinking you took Cosmog and Z3?!"

I shouted.

"I had to save Nebby! She was in danger like type: Null!!!"

Shouted Lillie.

"Keep your voice down. Look you know that Cosmog is dangerous!"

I said.

"Nebby needed my help! You took Type: Null!"

Said Lillie.

"Type: Null won't put the world in danger!"

I said.

"Colress almost killed Nebby by making Nebby open the portal to Ultra Beasts' world! Lusamine is being controlled by Colress! He's using Ultra beasts to do it Gladion!"

"Wait what?!"

"Lusamine's not herself because Colress is controlling her!!! He's using UB01 to do it!!!!"

Said Lillie while almost in tears.

I looked at Lillie in shock.

"I can't believe that he would go so low..."

Said Gladion while trying to hold in my anger.

"You have to tell Lillian!"

I said.

"I don't want Lusamine to be arrested she's the only family we have left!"

Said Lillie.

"She won't be arrested if it's Colress's doing! She's not the only family we have left! We Have Jenna."

I said.

"She walked out the Aether Foundation and left."

Said Lillie.

"What else did you not tell me! What else did you leave out?!"

I shouted.

"That's all I know!"

Shouted Lillie in tears.

I gave Lillie a hug and began comforting her.

"We'll help save Lusamine I promise!"

I said.

Serena's POV

"Okay it's now time to start the final round. One my right it's Serena and on my left its Mira! Now there will five minutes on the clock. The person who knocks the most points from their opponents score wins! So your time starts now!"

Shouted the announcer!

"Okay Pancham and Braixen its show time!"

I shouted releasing my two Pokemon.

"Okay go Sephiver and Krookadile!"

Shouted Mira releasing her two Pokemon.

Pancham shook in fear as Krookadile was released.

"Pancham stay focused! You can do it! Braixen use flamethrower! Pancham Use stone edge!!!"

I shouted.

"Using the same attacks you used on Dawn! Don't think I haven't watched your performance! Sephiver counter with Posion Tail!!! And Krookadile use Dark Pulse!"

Said Mira.

Both attacks hit with great precision and power.

"Wow what accuracy!"

Said Nurse Joy.

"Wow what powerful attack! Posion tail was absolutely beautiful!"

Said Aracel.

"Absolutely remarkable!"

Said Mr. Suziko.

Serena watched as her points dropped.

"Okay Braixen Willow Whisp and Panchem use Dark pulse on Sephiver!"

I shouted.

"What a beautiful combination!"

Said Aracel.

Mira's points dropped a little and she rolled her eyes.

"Like that will do anything at all Sephiver use protect and Krookadile use earthquake!"

Shouted Mira.

Earthquake hit Braixen knocking her out with one hit.

"Have a nice rest Braixen."

I said while returning her to her Pokeball.

"Pancham use stone edge on Sephiver!"

I shouted.

Stone edge hit knocking out Sephiver.

"Sephiver take a long rest."

Said Mira returning her Pokemon to her Pokeball.

"Krookadile use shadow claw!"

Shouted Mira.

Pancham fell to the ground and tried standing up but was struggling.

"Now use dig!"

"Pancham use stone edge!!!"

I shouted.

Krookadile used dig to dodge stone edge and hid under ground.

"Try to sense Krookadile's movements!"

I shouted.

Krookadile came up too fasts for Pancham to dodge and Pancham was struggling to get up.

"This battle's almost over."

Said Mira with a sly smile on her face.

"Come on Pancham I believe in you. I know you can do this."

I said.

Pancham got up and then he began to glow and change shape.

"What on earth?!"

Asked Mira in shock.

"Wow could we be witnessing an evolution."

Said the announcer.

"Pancham's evolving?"

Asked in a daze.

Then Pancham and he was now a Pangeroo.

"Pangeroo this great!"

I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Even if Pancham has evolved you still won't beat me! Krookadile let's end this with Dark Pulse!"

Shouted Mira.

"Dodge it and use stone edge!"

I shouted.

Instead of a stone edge attack a red light came from Pangeroo's hands.

"Wow you've learned focus blast!"

I said in amazement.

"Krookadile go!"

Shouted Mira.

"Now Pangeroo use focus blast!!"

I shouted.

"Use dig to dodge!"

Shouted Mira.

Dark pulse hit Pangeroo and Krookadile dove under ground.

"You still won't beat me! You're a rookie I've competed in several contests!"

Said Mira.

"Serena! Look at the holes in the ground!"

I looked up to see Ash looking at me.

"Focus and look at the holes Serena! You can do this!"

Shouted Ash through the crowd.

Then I realized what Ash was talking about.

"Okay Pangeroo aim focus blast into the hole!"

I shouted.

Pangeroo's focus blast hit Krookadile knocking it out.

"Krookadile is unable to battle! The winner of the Marina City Contest is Serena Yovonne!!!"

Said the announcer.

I stood there in shock.

"Pangeroo we did it!"

I shouted running over to hug Pangeroo.

Pangeroo hugged me back and smiled.

Mira stood there and glared at the ground.

"Congrats. You were amazing!"

Said Mira.

"Thanks you were an amazing rival."

I said.

"Thanks good luck in future contests!"

Said Mira waving goodbye.

I smiled and walked off the stage.

Lillian's POV

"Congratulations on winning your first contest!"

Said Aracel.

"Thank you!"

Said Serena.

"Here I'm proud to present this first ribbon to you!"

Said Aracel.

"Thank you so much!"

Said Serena.

"Aracel the cash prize is gone!!!"

Shouted Nurse Joy.

"Wait what?!"

Shouted Aracel.

"Sorry but I'll be taking this!"

I turned around to see Plumeria standing there with the cash in a brown sack.

"Plumeria!"

Shouted Gladion.

"Well if it isn't Gladion the traitor!"

Said Plumeria.

"Oh please I left because I was tired of stealing!"

Said Gladion.

"Gladion you were like family to us! You left us! You left us for a detective which is the worst a kind of betrayal! You're working against us!!!! How could you leave us Gladion!!!! Guzma's worried sick about you!!!!"

Shouted Plumeria.

"I left for personal reasons all right!!!"

Shouted Gladion.

"He did the right thing unlike you who is stealing the hard earned prize money of a young girl who worked extremely hard to earn her way to the final round and she fought hard! I can't believe that you'd take something that she worked so hard to get!!!!"

I shouted.

"Oh please! This money could go to better use! Sephiver use haze!"

Shouted Plumeria.

Plumeria made her get away with the money and she had disappeared.

"She's gone!"

I shouted.

"I'm sorry about your money."

Said Gladion

"I still have my ribbon and that's what's important."

Said Serena with a smile on her face.

I nodded and gave Serena a hug.

"Congrats I knew you could do it!"

I said winking at her.

Serena smiled and then Ash came over to see Serena.

"You were amazing out there!"

Said Ash.

"Thanks! I could hear you cheering me on. Thanks Ash."

Said Serena.

Ash blushed and smiled at Serena.
I smiled and looked over at Gladion who ran over and pulled me aside.

"Lillian we need to talk. Lillie have us some late but new information."

Said Gladion.

I nodded and went with Gladion to talk in private.

"What is it?"

I asked.

"Lusamine is under Colress's control he's using ultra beasts to control Lusamine into doing what he wants!"

Shouted Gladion.

"That's absolutely terrible!"

I shouted.

"There's more. Lillie has Cosmog."

Said Gladion.

"What's Cosmog?!"

I asked.

"A very rare Pokemon that Colress took! He sees it as nothing but material for his research!!!"

Said Gladion.

"Does she have it with her?!"

I shouted.

"It's in her bag! That's what was moving in her bag!"

"She took Z3 and Cosmog?!"

I shouted in shock.

"Yeah she sure did."

Said Gladion.

"Where's Lillie?!"

I asked.

"I'm not sure. She should be around here somewhere."

Said Gladion.

"Hey Gladion?"

"Yeah?"

"We will help your sister. She won't be in any kind of trouble with the law since she's under Colress's control but we have to go to the Aether paradise tomorrow."

I said.

"I'm coming with you!"

Shouted Gladion.

"It's just going to be me! They won't be suspicious if I go!"

I said.

"You can't go by yourself it's dangerous!"

Shouted Gladion.

"I'll be fine Gladion. I'm not making any arrests I need proof first."

I said.

"At least take Calem and Alain for back up I can't let you get hurt because your helping us!"

Said Gladion.

"Okay then I will only take them but your staying at home where you'll be safe promise me you won't leave."

I said placing my hands on his shoulders.

"Promise."

Said Gladion.

"Good I'll go tomorrow."

I said walking off.

Third Person POV
Harley stood there on the balcony of the contest. He felt embarrassed that he had lost. He felt a soft hand on his shoulder.

"Hey Harley."

Said Soledad.

"Hey Soledad."

Said Harley sadly.

"What's wrong?"

Asked Soledad.

"I feel like a failure!"

Said Harley.

"I know you tried your best. We all did."

Said Soledad.

"Yeah but-"

"But what?"

Asked Soledad.

"I failed impress you!"

Said Harley getting frustrated.

"What makes you say that?!"

Said Soledad.

"There's something I've been meaning to tell you for a long time... Since we were little... Well I-I-I."

Harley chocked on his words and took a deep breath.

"Here this will explain it. Happy birthday."

Said Harley handing Soledad and wrapped gift box.

"Harley you didn't have to get me anything."

Said Soledad opening the box.

Soledad blushed when she saw the heart shaped locket in the small black box.

"Harley it's beautiful."

Said Soledad.

Harley goes Soledad out her locket on around her neck.

"Soledad I've had a crush on you for years since we kids. It took me ten years to tell you. If you like me back-"

Soledad interrupted Harley with a soft kiss on the lips. She pulled away and blushed.

"What made you think I didn't like you back?"

Said Soledad giving Harley a flirty wink.

Harley's face was bright red and he looked her and smiled.

"I'm glad you feel the same way..."

Said Harley.

Soledad and Harley kissed again and the sun began to set over the ocean.

Meanwhile May walked over and saw Drew pouting on the beach. She sat down next him and gave him a soft smile.

"Drew thanks for trying to help."

Said May.

"We couldn't help you May! You probably would've won too!!! I screwed it up for you and for Dawn!!!"

Said Drew punching the sand.

"You did your best you and Mira were the only ones who came to help me! Thank you."

Said May causing Drew to blush,

"Look May I failed today! I didn't even make it passed the first round! I failed!"

"You didn't fail you tried!"

"That wasn't my best May! I had a lot on my mind! I wasn't focused!"

Said Drew.

"What were you thinking about."

"Just a lot of things."

Said Drew.

"Like what?"

Asked May.

"I don't know there's a girl I like..."

Said Drew.

"Oh..."

Said May sadly.

"Who is it..."

"I an'y tell you!"

Said Drew.

"Well why not!"

Shouted May.

"Because she's standing right in front of me!"

Said Drew blushing while handing May a rose.

May have Drew a soft kiss on the cheek and smiled.

"Well Drew glad you feel the same way."

Said May walking away leaving Drew in a total daze.

Meanwhile Colress was at the lab with Hunter J diss using his next plan.

"I want you to also catch this Pokemon if you find it. It wasn't stolen from us by that stupid Lillie girl and her brother Gladion took my Type: Null too!!!"

Said Colress showing Hunter J a picture of Cosmog.

"That'll cost you extra. That's the tarests Pokemon in Alola. Do you even know where Lillie is?"

"I have a good idea on where she is hiding. How does $700,000.00 sound."

Said Colress.

Hunter J looked at Colress in shock.

"You're raising my pay by $200,000.00?!"

Shouted J in shock.

"I need Cosmog desperately for my plans to work! I can't rule the world if I can't summon my ultra beasts now can I J?"

Said Colress.

"Well than I accept this job. However you are hitting a new low by using UB01 to control an eighteen year old into your bidding."

Said J.

"You sell the Pokemon you steal for money I think we both are pretty evil wouldn't you say so J?"

Asked Colress.

"I may steal Pokemon and sell them for a profit but I would never use mind control on an innocent girl like Lusamine just to use her lab facility and make her commit horrible crimes and you even secretly killed the girl's own parents and you're are saying that I'm evil. I may be a criminal but I'm not a monster."

Said J.

"Say whatever you want! You want the job or not because I can find someone else!"

Said Colress.

"Done you have a deal but I want no part in harming this innocent girl your controlling! Understand Colress."

Said J.

"Understood! You're not stopping me from Controlling Lusamine are you?!"

Shouted Colress.

"No I want no part in it. It's really none of my business what you plan on doing with her but if you kill her than it becomes my business because I knew about it! Understand me when I say this! If you kill her I don't any blood on my hands all the blame will fall on you! Understand?!"

Shouted J.

"I understand. I guess you don't have the heart to take a life."

"I'm a Pokemon Hunter not an Assassin."

"I'm not an assassin if I have to get some blood on hands may be it even be my own to reach my goals than so be it!"

Said Colress.

"You're stupid you know that right. I can't believe that you even made a deal with Purge. You what happens when you fail right?"

Asked J pointing to the weird skull necklace that hung around Colress's neck.

"If I'm successful I don't have to keep my end of the bargain! Purge may be the Eternal Inferno Pokemon and Arceus's evil brother but he does keep promises and I intend to succeed."

Said Colress.

"I would never go that far as to selling my own soul to Purge but that's your decision. Just know if you fail you will meet Purge in the underworld and it won't be pretty."

Said J.

"Who says I'll fail! I will succeed!"

Said Colress.
