Lillian's POV

The next day had approached and I barely got any sleep last night. So much has happened yesterday that I couldn't barely calm myself down to go to sleep.

I got up and got dressed. I put on a frilly orange romper and put on my brown wedge sandals and my locket that was a birthday gift from my best friend Amalie who had perished in Lysandre's attack only six months ago.

Even if the cruel man is dead I'll never forgive him for what he did for Kalos and Rj won't either. Kalos is out home and anyone who messes with Kalos will be very sorry that they ever had.

I brushed through my wavy brown hair and decided to leave it down for today and put on a floppy hat and sunglasses.

Today I was going to do some more investigating and Ash, Calem, Rj and Alain were going to accompany me today and help me with my investigation.

I was secretly happy that Calem was coming with me. Calem said he would be late but that he would meet up with us in town.

This gave Rj the opportunity to tease me about it but I would fire back with comments about him and Hazel.

I was hoping that Galdion would come with us but he wanted to stay home and spend time with Lillie which was understandable considering that he hadn't seen her in six months.

I decided to let him and Rj seemed okay with it. Ash was a little sketchy about it but Calem was totally cool with however Alain was against it.

"I don't think we can leave him alone. He's an ex-felon!"

Shouted Alain.

"Keep your voice down!"

I said while whispering.

"It's not like he had a choice! You helped Lysandre without knowing and we let it go! He's not helping Guzma anymore. You can relate with him just give him a chance Alain!"

I said.

"Okay fine..."

Said Alain.

"Good now that we all agree let's head out."

I said.

"I wonder if we'll see any cool Pokemon while we're out."

Said Ash.

"Ash let's focus we're looking for more information about Colress remember?!"

I said.

"Yeah but it doesn't mean that we can't see any cool Pokemon while we are out. Also can we get some lunch while we are out?"

He said.

"Ash we just ate breakfast."

Said Rj.

"I know but I'm still hungry."

Said Ash.

Pikachu sighed and Alain rolled his eyes.

"Really Ash?"

I said while rolling my eyes.

"So what do you think of Serena?"

Asked Rj.

"What do you mean?"

Asked Ash.

"Do you like her?"

Asked Rj.

"She's a great friend and she makes the best deserts. She makes really cool designs and she's super creative."

Said Ash.

"What I mean is that do you like like her."

Said Rj.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

Asked Ash.

Alain face palmed and I rolled my eyes.

"Really Ash?!"

I said while rolling my eyes.

"There are rocks smarter than you when it comes to girls."

Said Alain.

"I'm not stupid I just don't know I guess I kind of like her. I mean she's kind of cute and sweet."

Said Ash while slightly blushing.

"At least he's not totally dense."

Said Rj.

"I might take that back."

I said whispering to Rj.

"She might not even like me. I don't know. Clemont kind of likes her."

Said Ash.

"Come on Ash get with the program! She totally likes you! Clemont likes Korrina remember?!"

I said in frustration.

"How so? How do you know Serena likes me?"

Asked Ash.

"It's obvious."

Said Alain while face palming.

"I take back what I said Ash you're even more dense than a rock!"

Said Rj.

"I'm not totally dense!"

Protested Ash.

"Uhuh."

I said sarcastically while crossing my arms.

"I'm not!"

Said Ash.

"Yeah sure you aren't."

Said Rj.

"How long will this conversation keep going? We're almost to our destination and you guys still haven't talked about what you know about Colress."

Said Alain.

"All we know is that Colress is working with the Aether foundation and that he's after the Ultra Beasts. That's all I know."

I said.

"What even are Ultra Beasts?"

Asked Ash.

"I'm not sure. Lillie told me that they're Pokemon from a different dimension than ours. The Aether Foundation's research shows that Mew created them to protect the world and that they would only appear when there's a threat that could destroy the world."

I said.

"Anything else Lillie mentioned that's important."

Asked Alain.

"Well Lillie said that she had cousins working there as well. Lillie said that her cousin Jenna quit. She was angry about something and she slammed the door and left."

I said.

"Is that the Jenna that Rj saw in the police files?"

Asked Ash.

"It has to be. Rj didn't you say she Jenna joined Team Skull."

I asked.

"I saw her file but I heard the police talking about a girl named Jenna who just broke into a different jewelry store in town.
They said that they thought she was in Team Skull because she had the Team Skull logo tattooed on her left arm and she was wearing all black just like all of Team Skull's members."

Said Rj.

"It's definitely worth looking into."

Said Alain.

"For sure."

I said.

We finally reached our destination, the center of town. Selene said that's where the Island's gossip takes place and that the center of town would be the best place to get information about Team Skull.

"Who should we ask? there are so many people."

Said Rj.

"Serena said that Lady Shinobu keeps tabs on Team Skull and thieves in the area because her store has been robbed on more than one occasion."

I said.

"Why did they give her the title lady?"

Asked Ash.

"Shinobu is a rich heiress who inherited her parents fashion company at the age of seventeen when they passed away during a terrible storm that hit the island. She's twenty now and she known as the Queen of the fashion industry. Serena told me all of this."

I said.

"That doesn't surprise me one bit Serena is always update with fashion."

Said Rj.

"Her knowledge about fashion is actually helping us with this case.

I said.

I walked up to a group of young women in there early thirties who were wearing some of Lady Shinobu's designs.

"Excuse me sorry to interrupt but do you guys know where Lady Shinobu's mansion is located?"

I asked.

"Sorry Lady Shinobu is very distant and private much like her mansion. She hates the attention and the paparazzi. She prefers to stay under the radar. Wish I could meet her though. Sorry I couldn't help."

Said the lady.

"That's okay."

I said.

We asked all the locals we could find and all said the same thing. I walked away with Ash, Rj, and Alain and sat down on a park bench in defeat.

"We can't find anything! This case is just so difficult."

I said.

"You're not giving up are you?!"

Asked Alain.

"No I'm just frustrated."

I said.

Then a man with a black suit and grey hair approached me. Not single one of his grey hairs was out of place.

"Excuse me Miss but by chance are you Lillian Duncan?"

Asked the man.

"Yes why?"

I asked.

"Yes!!! I'm glad I found you!!! Mistress Shinobu will most pleased!!!"

Said the man.

"Did you say Shinobu?!"

Asked Rj.

"Why yes. I am her butler Charles."

Said the man taking a bow.

"She's one of the most famous and well respected people on this island. Why would she want to talk to me?! We were looking for her?"

I asked in shock.

"Why wouldn't she want to talk to the champion of Kalos and one of the most renowned detectives."

He said.

"Wow I never thought anyone felt so strongly about me like that. I actaully do have a few questions I want to ask her."

I said.

"Well come with me and I will take you there."

Said Charles.

Then a black limousine pulled up and Charles went inside the car.

"Are you three coming?"

Asked Charles.

"Yeah we're coming."

I said.

"Wait I want to come too!"

I saw Calem running towards the limo.

"Calem! Glad you could make it!"

I said while smiling.

"Who's this young man?"

Asked Charles.

"This is my close friend Calem."

I said.

"So I assume that this young man will be joining us then?"

Asked Charles.

"Yes. There's another seat come in Calem."

I said.

Calem sat in the seat next to me and smiled.

"Glad I could make it."

Said Calem.

"Yeah me too."

I said while smiling.

Third Person POV

The bushes rattled and Jessie, James and Meowth popped up out of the bushes. Jessie still had leaves and twigs sticking out of her hair thick magenta hair.

"James did you hear that?!"

Asked his crazy magenta haired partner.

"You wanna that they're going to see this famous fashion designer Lady Shinobu. She has to have some diamonds and tons of money. I heard that she can use mega evolution. Apparently her Absol can mega evolve."

Said James.

"So it's settled let's swipe Pikachu and Absol too!"

Said Meowth.

"I wanna show this Shinobu who's the true famous one on this island and it's not her! I am far more beautiful and talented than she is! The Paparazzi will be wanting take pictures of me instead of her once they take a look at my gorgeous face they'll beg to take my picture!"

Said Jessie while snickering while daydreaming about one of her fantasies.

"James I think Jessie's lost it."

Said Meowth.

"You me both."

Said James while sighing.

"Then it's settled! Let's make haste! Off to Lady Shinobu's Mansion!"

Said James.

"We'll swipe that Absol and Pikachu too! The twewps we'll have no ideas that we're comming!"

Said Meowth.

"Then when the boss gets Pikachu and Absol we'll be richer than Lady Shinobu!"

Said James.

"Maybe the boss will throw in a promotion."

Said Jessie.

Then three of them began to snicker and they got on they're giant Meowth balloon and followed the limo to Lady Shinobu's mansion.

Lillian's POV

"Wow! Look at the mansion it's huge!"

Shouted Ash in amazement.

"I've seen shopping malls smaller than this place."

Said Alain.

"It must be money to live in a house this big all by yourself."

I said.

"The mistress prefers it that way. She's constantly bottled up like this because people keep bombarding her. It's quite unfortunate. She probably wishes that she could leave her mansion but if people keep acting the way they do then I'm afraid she'll never leave."

Said Charles.

"Man I would hate to live like that."

Said Ash.

"Yeah me too."

Said Calem.

"That seems like it really sucks."

Said Alain.

Charles parked his car and led us to the front door. He rung the door bell and spoke into an intercom.

"Hello Lady Shinobu I brought Lillian Duncan here like you've asked."

Said Charles.

"Good Charles. Come on in."

Said a feminine voice through the intercom.

The doors unlocked on there own and Charles walked in and lead us through the huge house. Everything was decorated with Kolsian decor and I felt right at home.

"Wow this place is incredible."

Said Rj.

"This place is huge. I'm surprised she doesn't get lost in a house this large."

Said Calem.

Then Charles lead us into a large sitting room. It was decorated with fancy and decor and had several rare paintings on the walls.

There was a beautiful women sitting on the couch drinking a cup of tea on the couch. She was wearing a blue blouse and a black pencil skirt with black pumps.

She had straight black hair that reached to her chin, blue eyes, and she was wearing red lipstick and had a ring on her finger that had a mega stone in the center. An Absol sat next to her growling at us the closer we approached her.

"Absol please stop these people are our guests."

Said Lady Shinobu.

Absol stopped growling but continued to give us an unsettling glare.

"I'm really sorry about Absol. Glad you could come. I was hoping to meet you in person one day. Ms. Duncan please come in. You and your friends can sit wherever you'd like."

She said in a smooth and silky voice.

Calem sat next to me while Alain sat to the right of and Rj and Ash day together at the end of the couch.

"So Ms. Shinobu what did you ask me to come here for?"

I asked.

"I actually have two favors to ask of you. I've had a lot of problems with theft lately. Just the other day a bunch of my designer Jewelry was stolen from one of my stores. I was a victim of Team Skull. There's been rumors of a gang going around stealing things from other stores. The other day there was a bank robbery in town. A bunch of rubies were stolen."

Said Lady Shinobu.

"Probably Galdion."

Said Alain.

"Alain Lillian told you to drop it."

Said Ash.

"Sorry please continue."

I said.

"Right. I'm concerned about the safety of my Absol."

Said Lady Shinobu.

"Your Absol?"

I asked.

"Yes. People's Pokemon have been stolen by Team Skull just recently. And I'm worried about him. Absol's been acting strange lately."

Said Lady Shinobu.

"How so?"

I asked.

"It refuses to go outside on walks, it's been extremely overprotective of me lately and it's pretty much growled at every noise the house makes at night as if someone is in the house."

Said Ms. Shinobu.

"Mam is it okay if I take a look around your house?"

I asked.

"Of course. Feel free."

She said while taking I sip of her tea.

Ms. Shinobu took me to every room in the house. I examined the house from top to bottom and she lead me to her room where she designs her clothes for the company.

While I was examining the balcony I noticed one of the hinges on the door leading to the the balcony was tampered with and the door knob was all bent up and out of shape.

"Mam has someone broken into this room before?"

I asked.

"No why?"

She asked.

"One of the hinges looks like it was definitely tampered with. I think someone's been attempting to break into your home. Which would explain your Absol's weird behavior. He was only trying to protect you."

I said.

"Absol...."

Said Lady Shinobu quietly.

Then a weird block was thrown at Pikachu and Absol and they became trapped in weird cage.

"Pikachu!"

Shouted Ash.

"No Absol!"

Shouted Lady Shinobu.

Then a huge Meowth shaped balloon approached us.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"And make it double!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"Unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"And James!"

"Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender to us now and you'll surely loose the fight!"

"Meowth that's right!"

Great Team Rocket showed up.

"TEAM ROCKET!"

Shouted Ash.

"Uggg! Not them again!"

Shouted Alain.

"Love you too twerp!"

Shouted Jessie sarcastically.

"Who are they?!"

Asked Lady Shinobu.

"They're a group of loosers that have nothing better to do than to steal other people's Pokemon!"

I shouted.

"How dare you?!"

Shouted James.

"And you'd calling us loses?!"

Shouted Meowth.

"Don't you guys have anything better to do?!"

Shouted Calem.

"Beating you twerps is our hobby!"

Shouted Jessie.

"You beat us we beat you!"

I shouted.

"Well today's gonna change!"

Shouted Meowth.

"How's it different from a my other day?! We always send you flying!"

Shouted Ash.

"Give back Pikachu and Absol!"

Shouted Rj.

"Fat chance twewps!"

Shouted Meowth.

"Gourgiest come on out!"

Shouted Jessie releasing her Pokemon.

"You too Inkay!"

Shouted James.

Inkay wrapped her tentacles around James' face.

"Stop doing that! Inkay use Psybeam!"

Shouted James throwing Inkay off of him.

"Gourgiest use shadowball!"

Shouted Jessie.

"Spark come on out!"

I shouted.

"Lucario lets go!"

Shouted Rj releasing his Lucario,

"Spark use flamethrower on Gourgiest!"

"Lucario use shadow claw on Inkay!"

Shouted Rj.

Both attacks knocked out both Pokemon.

"Okay Absol Mega Evolve!"

Shouted Lady Shinobu pressing the keystone on her ring.

Absol grew and changed shape and became mega Absol.

"Okay Absol use dark pulse on the cages!"

Shouted Lady Shinobu.

Absol's dark pulse broke through both cages setting both Pikachu and Absol free.

"We're doomed!!!"

Shouted James.

"Glad your okay Pikachu! Now use thunderbolt!"

Shouted Ash.

Pikachu leaped into the air and launched a thunderbolt on Team Rocket's ballon sending them flying.

"This is like Kalos all over again!"

Shouted Jessie.

"We're failures in Kalos and in Alola!"

Shouted James.

"And to think this was gonna be our big break!!!"

Shouted Meowth.

"Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

Shouted Team Rocket in unison.

"Absol I'm glad you're okay!"

Said Lady Shinobu hugging her Absol.

"Well I'm glad that Absol's alright."

Said Rj.

"Yeah me too."

I said.

"Mam I don't think you're out of the woods yet. I don't think Team Rocket are the thieves."

I said.

"Then who is it? Please tell me."

She said.

"I can't say for sure but I'm putting my bets on Team Skull."

I said.

"And you're absolutely right!"

I turned around to see a girl with long Curley hair wearing all black. She had cold ocean blue eyes and was wearing bright red lipstick. A Zorark was standing proudly beside her.

She was carrying a huge sack of what looked like money and her most distinguishing feature was the team skull logo on her left arm.

"I'm guessing that you're the thief than! What does Guzma have planned next?!"

I shouted.

"Quite excited aren't we? However too bad I can't stay and chat I must be on my way! Zorark use haze!"

Shouted the thief.

She disappeared in a thick cloud of smoke and she was gone.

Third person POV
"That was easier than I thought."

Said Jenna while petting her Zoroark.

Jenna actually didn't mind her job. She actually liked it. She was only doing it though to protect a loved one. Someone she had a made a promise to a long time ago but she has failed to keep it. Especially with Colress hot on her trail.

She slid into one of the main underground using the secret tunnel and she walked into Guzma's "office" and she slammed the bag of gold on the table string Guzma who was taking a nap.

"Here boss I got what you wanted."

She said while putting her hands her hips.

"Ah excellent job Jenna! Good work."

He said while eyeing the gold and sack of money in the bag.

"So what now boss?"

She asked.

"With your good looks I want you to trick someone into doing the work for me."

Said Guzma.

"I told you Guzma I don't do these types of jobs! I'm not a toy!"

Protested Jenna.

"If you want to keep your position you sure will."

Said Guzma.

"And who might that be?"

Said Jenna sighing.

"Steven Stone. He's coming to Alola and I want a mega stone. Understood?"

Asked Guzma.

"Understood."

Said Jenna reluctantly.

"Good now off you go."

Said Guzma shooing her away.

Jenna rolled her eyes and left regretting for asking for another job.
