Quick announcement:
this book is almost completed! I have 10 more chapters left until this book is completed! I'm so excited. This is actually a book series so there will be more books after this one. I'm so hype for the sequel! I will still be using OC's and adding new ones one of them is actaully mine. I will make a dedication/thank you page for those of you who let me use your OC's. I already have the plot for the sequel planned out and obviously the ending for this book. I have had requests for new OC's sorry to say I can't add them in this book but they will be in the sequel! I will add your new OC in the sequel. ^.^ I should be finished with this book before Christmas so at beginig of December. There will be a sequel since this book has turned out well and I'm really excited to write the sequel! I will let you guys know when the sequel will be published. If you want to take a look at the cover here it is. I might remake the cover ^.^

I hope you guys are enjoying the book so far. Lillian's POV

I stood there looking over the thick clouds. We were up in the mountains and I stared at the sky in awe. We had left early last night and took a boat to get to the snow covered mountain.

Gladion told me that we had to get through the mountains to get to the Aether paradise. There was no boat until you went over the on the other side of the mountain.

The only way to get to the boat was to go up and down the snowy mountain and then that boat would take us to the Island where the Aether foundation was located.

We had left last night and we took a boat to the next Island where the Aether foundation supposedly was.

It was a secluded island and the Aether foundation was none to be a benevolent research facility to help the sick and injured Pokemon or so it was until Colress showed up.

"Wow this place is beautiful!"

I said.

"But it's so freezing!"

Said Alain.

"Quit your whining it's not so bad!"

I said.

"Yay this is fun look at all the snow!"

Said Mairin playing in the snow and throwing it on top of herself.

Mairin was only here because she snuck on the boat that brought us to this island and we couldn't bringing her back home. At least Gladion had listened to my orders.

"Remember don't do anything stupid!"

Said Alain who was mad at Mairin for following us.

"Oh come can't I have fun!"

Said Mairin.

"Mairin this is serious you could hurt and it was very dumb of you to come!"

Said Alain.

"If you don't want me here I'll just leave!"

Said Mairin.

"It's too late to turn back now!"

I said.

"Lillian's right lets just all stick together!"

Said Calem.

"Speaking of people who came here my behind my back."

I said turning around to see RJ, Alec, Aracel, and VG hiding behind an icy rock.

I knew that Rj would try to sneak over. Why would my I have expected him to come. Rj was a little reckless and gets himself into some dangerous situations. The last thing he needs is to visit the Aether paradise.

"How did you know we followed you?!"

Shouted RJ.

"Alec left a trail of Banana peels behind him and I knew you regardless of what I said Rj! You're reckless and you do stupid things! You know my job is dangerous!"

I said while holding up a banana peel.

I could here Rj cursing under his breath.

"ALEC!!! I TOLD YOU TO LIMIT YOUR SNACKING!!!!"

Said Rj.

"Alec your an idiot."

Said VG.

"I'm not an idiot!"

Said Alec.

"Yes you are you gave us away!!!"

Shouted Aracel.

"If you say your job is dangerous them why do you do it?! Is there a reason?!"

Shouted Rj.

"It's none of your business and I think you're all idiots!!! My job could you guys hurt!!! I only took Calem and Alain for back up!!! Don't tell me Gladion's here too!!!"

I shouted.

Rj and VG looked at each other and and then looked away.

"Guys!!!! Is Gladion here?!?!?!?!"

I shouted.

"If we were to tell you yes, would you be mad?"

Asked Alec.

"Very mad!!!! Gladion if your here get your butt over here!!!!"

I shouted.

"Gladion you might as well come out now."

Said Aracel.

"Okay fine."

Said Gladion coming out from behind a snow bank.

"I told you not to come!!!!"

I shouted.

"Well Lillie is here too....."

Said Gladion shuffling his feet in the thick snow.

"Wait what?!"

I shouted.

"Hi."

Said Lillie waving at me nervously.

"Seriously?!"

I shouted.

"You guys are all stupid!"

I shouted.

"If Mairin can come why can't I come?!"

Said Aracel.

"Mairin snuck over here!!! I'm only here to find evidence I'm not making any arrests yet!!!"

I shouted.

"Oh... Ops!"

Said Gladion sounding embarrassed.

"Rj I told you not to take him with us!!!!"

Shouted VG.

"And I wanted to come by myself and you insisted that you come with me!!! Lillian just tell me why you have to do everything alone! We even had to beg you take Alain and Calem with you! Why do you insist that you do this alone!!! Tell me why!!!!"

Said Rj.

"No Rj! I shouldn't have to answer to you!"

I said.

"Why should we have to answer to you! You think that we an't come along and help and you expect this to not protect you, one our most cherished friends! You're stupid if you think you can take on Colress and Lusamine alone!"

"I CAN'Y LOSE ANOTHER FRIEND!!!"

I said screaming at the top of my lungs.

Rj had a horrified expression plastered on his face and he looked down at his feet.

"If you cared about me you would all go back to boat and go home."

I said taking off running.

I could hear my friends trying to chase after me and calling my name but I kept running. I didn't care where I was going but I wanted to be anywhere but here.

Once I got far enough I kicked some snow and sat on a small icy rock to think and clear my head. A single tear fell from my eyes and streamed down my cheek.

Whipped the year away with my gloved hand and stared at the sky.
I brushed off the snow off of my royal blue peacoat and my black scarf.

I'm happy that I had brought my winter clothes from home to Alola. I was hopping maybe make a trek through these snowy mountains during my time here.

There was a city located but that would be a whole day's trip. I was hoping to get there before sundown.

I wanted to come to the city here because I heard that there was a ski resort and many hotels and lots of things to do there but this was really no time for fun. Then I saw a small white Vulpix on the ground.

"You lost little one?"

I asked.

Vulpix leaped into my arms and cuddled me.

"You're so warm!"

I said while snuggling her.

While petting Vulpix I continued to think. I had to expose the Aether foundation for what it truly was and rescue Lillie and Gladion's sister Lusamine.

I have so much to do. I felt a warm gloved hand placed on my shoulder and it belonged to Calem.

"You know you shouldn't be mad at them. They're only trying to help."

Said Calem.

"Gladion's just being reckless what on earth is he thinking!!! And Rj is being stupid! They could put themselves in danger by coming with me!!!"

I said.

I shouted while burying my face in my gloved hands.

"That's a cute Pokemon Lil."

Said Calem.

"I know you're trying to keep them safe but they want to help. I want to help too."

Said Calem.

"Yeah I know you do. I'm glad you came..."

I said while blushing.

Calem blushed and looked away.

"I'm glad I and too."

Said Calem.

I turned around to see Hunter J who was riding on her Salamance.

"Hunter J?!"

I shouted.

"Surprise Suprise I've already completed my mission but why not take that Vulpix for extra money!"

Said J.

I turned around and released my Lucario Aura from his Pokeball and he stood there proudly.

"Wow it looks strong let's see it in battle! Salamance use hyper beam!!!"

Shouted Hunter J.

"Aura use Dragon Pulse!!!"

I shouted.

Dragon Pulse hit causing Salamance major damage.

"I see why your the Champion of Kalos. Your skills might even surpass those of your father."

Said J in a sly manor.

"I'm not taking compliments from a felon! Aura Mega Evolve!"

I shouted pressing the key stone on the heart shaped mega ring on my finger.

Aura had become mega Lucario.

"Wow so you use mega evolution. Why does this not surprise me. One would expect the champion to be able to utilize mega evolution."

Said J with a sly smile plastered on her pale face.

J's pale grey eyes had cold and sinister look to them. I couldn't pinpoint where I had seen those eyes before...

I know I have. I knew that those eyes also belonged to someone else. I couldn't quite picture or remember... Where have I seen those cold grey eyes before...

"Lillian stay focused!!!"

Shouted Calem.

I jumped and nodded.

"Okay Aura use Dragon Pulse one more time!"

I shouted

"I don't have time for this Salamance use flamethrower for cover!"

Shouted Hunter J.

The smoke from the flamethrower blocked our vision and Hunter J was able to make her getaway.

"She got away again!"

I shouted pounding my fist into the snow.

Calem sighed and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Lillian let's go back to see everyone."

Said Calem.

"I don't know..."

I said.

"Lillian you can't be mad at them forever."

Said Calem.

"Fine...."

I said getting up off of the ground.

I scooped up Vulpix into my arms and cuddled her and pet her soft white fur.

"You're such a cutie."

I said petting her soft white fur.

Vulpix snuggled up in my arms and looked very content.

"She likes you Lillian."

Said Calem while smiling at me.

"I guess so."

I said.

Calem pet Vulpix on the head and she smiled.

I felt a cold icy wind brush up against my back and I could see the clouds turning a dark grey.

"It looks like a very bad storm is coming! We need to find shelter!"

Said Calem.

I nodded and Calem pointed out a small cave in the distance.

"Let's stay in there until the storm clears."

Said Calem.

I nodded and Vulpix followed us into the cave.

Gladion's POV

While Lillian had gotten mad at us and had stomped off Rj was able to lead us to the famous City located in the mountains known for its famous lodges and ski spots.

Rj rented a cabin for us and we're all settled in while Calem went to look for Lillian. It was about to storm and we needed a place to stay for a few days.

Everyone was sitting on the couches in our huge suite. Rj rented us a huge suite for us to stay in. I was sitting next to Alain and Alec and Rj was on the other side of me.

"Man Lillian and Calem aren't back yet I'm starting to worry about them."

Said Aracel in a concerned voice.

"Lillian is probably still mad at us."

Said Alec taking a big sip of his coffee.

"Yeah I'm worried. A huge storm just blew in."

Said Alain.

Aracel looked like she was about to be in tears.

"Aracel what's wrong?"

Asked Alain.

"What if something happens to her. What if we loose her?!"

Shouted Aracel while tears streamed down her face.

Alain walked over and gave her a hug and tried comforting her. Alain held Aracel tightly and tried to calm her down.

"You know Lillian's stubborn she'll be fine. She tough. She can handle and you know Calem wouldn't let anything happen to her."

Said Alain.

"Yeah."

Said Aracel chuckling.

I looked over and saw that Lillie was gone.

"Guys where's Lillie?"

I asked.

"She took Cosmog outside."

Said VG.

I quickly grabbed my black coat and put my black gloves on. Type: Null hopped off of the couch and ran outside and followed.

"Gladion the storm is getting strong you need to stay inside!"

Said Aracel.

"I need to get Lillie! I have a feeling that she's in trouble! Come on Type: Null let's go!"

I shouted.

"Gladion wait!"

Shouted Rj.

I slammed the door and ran out side with Type: Null. The icy winds blew across my face and I shielded my eyes from the snow.

"LILLIE!!!!"

I shouted.

I heard no response. I continued my trek through the storm and reached a dead end. Then I heard a sharp scream cutting through the snowy silence. The screamed belonged to Lillie.

"LILLIE!!!!!"

I shouted.

I ran towards the direction where I had heard Lillie's scream and Type: Null followed me.

I had finally reached Lillie and had saw that Cosmog and Z3 were being attacked by a huge group of Alolansandshrew and their ringleader Alolan Sandslash. They were on an unstable ice covered bridge.

"Gladion Greenie and Nebbie got away from me and I chased them here and now they're being attacked!"

Shouted Lillie.

I had noticed Selene and Elio waving at me from the other side of the bridge.

"What are you guys doing here?!"

I shouted.

"We've decided to take the island challenge and we're going to Executor Island for our next challenge but we noticed you guys and you guys look like you are in trouble."

Said Elio.

"Please rescue Nebbie and Greenie!"

Shouted Lillie.

"What's a Nebbie?"

Asked Elio turning to Selene.

"That's Nebbie!"

Shouted Lillie pointing to Cosmog.

"I'll get Cosmog and you get Z3!"

Said Selene.

Elio nodded and they both approached the bridge.

"Okay but first let's scare away the Sandshrew and the Sandslash. Go Dicidueye!"

Shouted Elio.

"Go Primerina!"

Shouted Selene.

"Dicidueye use Leaf Storm!"

Shouted Elio.

Leaf Storm blew the other Sandshrew away.

"Okay Primerina use Hydro Pump!"

Shouted Selene.

Hydro Pump pushed away the other Sandshrew leaving the angry Sandslash.

"Okay let's finish it!"

Selene pushed her Z ring.

"Use sparkling Aria!"

Shouted Selene.

Sparkling Aria blasted the angry Sandslash away with its powerful Z Move leaving Nebbie and Z3 Unharmed.

"Okay let's go!"

Said Selene.

Selene began to step on the bridge but it wobble sand swayed in all directions. Elio stepped slowly behind Selene and scooped up Z3 in his arms.

"Woah what incredible strength!"

I said in amazement.

Her battling skills made like Selene even more than I already had now I admire her too. I began blushing. Elio quickly ran off of the bridge and handed Lillie Z3.

"Greenie!"

She said while hugging it.

Selene began to try to scoop up Cosmog but the bridge looked like it was going to break any minute.

"Nebbie it's okay you have to trust me. It's okay I'll protect you."

Said Selene.

Cosmog nodded and happily floated towards Selene and Selene scooped up Cosmog in her arms.

"Gotcha!"

Said Selene smiling at Cosmog.

Then the bridge broke where Selene stood and she fell right through the bridge.

"NO SELENE!!!"

I shouted.

Then out of nowhere a Pokemon scooped up Selene and Cosmog and brought the two back. It was Topu Fini. The island's Guardian.

"Woah it's Topu Fini!"

Shouted Lillie.

The guardian Pokemon nodded and smiled at Selene and flew away.

"Woah Selene are you okay?!"

I shouted running over to her.

"Yeah I'm fine and so it Nebbie."

Said Selene.

Cosmog leaped into Lillie's arms.

"I'm glad you two are okay."

Said Lillie to Z3 and Cosmog giving them both big hugs.

"Let's all head back to the lodge."

I said.

Elio and Selene nodded and both headed back with us to lodge.
