Lillian's POV
Seven months ago.....
"Congratulations on becoming champion. Rj isn't that easy to beat and you managed to beat him. I'm quite impressed."

Said Diantha patting me on the back.

"Thanks. I couldn't have done it without my partner."

I said while looking at my partner Spark.

I glanced down at my mega ring and smiled. I began to remember the first time I met Charizard. I had received him as a Charmander from professor sycamore. We've been traveling together since I was ten.

"It's been six long years but we've finally achieved our dreams."

I said while petting my partner.

Spark roared in contentment and nuzzled close to me.

"You and your Charizard have such an amazing bond. I know that you'll be champion for a long time."

Said Diantha with a smile on her face.

I nodded as Diantha registered my Pokemon into the hall of fame. I watched as Rj came up from behind me.

"Congratulations Lil. You won fair and square."

Said Rj handing me a trophy as recognition that I won.

"Rj...."

I said.

I could tell that he was slightly upset that he had last but I could see a look of determination on his face too.

"If anyone deserves this title it's you Lil."

Said Rj.

Rj's Lucario went up to Charizard and gave it fist bump.

"Let's battle again one day. Then when I'm strong enough I'm going to take back my title."

Said Rj.

"Rj. Don't be so down on yourself. To Kalos you're still known as one of the strongest trainers."

I said.

Rj waved goodbye and left with his Lucario.

"He is a little upset I can tell."

I was startled but relieved to see Aracel standing behind me.

"Aracel?!"

"In the flesh."

She said with a smile.

"So you watched my battle?"

I asked.

"I sure did. I'm very impressed with your battling style. It's different with each person you battle. Why is that?"

She asked.

"It all depends on my opponent."

I said.

"Interesting. Someday I hope you and I can battle. It be just for fun of course. I'm not turning to take your title or anything."

She said.

"Yes of course."

I said while smiling.

I was kind of worried. Is Rj mad that I took his title? He didn't seem upset with me but at the same time he seemed upset that he lost. I don't know how I managed to beat him but I did.

"Hey Lil is something bothering you?"

Asked Aracel interrupting my thoughts.

"No. I'm totally fine."

I said.

"Well we have to get you dressed up and ready. Professor Sycamore wants to reward you, Ash, Serena, Mairin, Clemont, Rj, Bonnie, and Alain for saving Kalos. And Malva has requested an interview with you. Alexa and Viola have also Requested a few pictures of you as well."

Said Diantha with a smile on her face.

"Wow life of a champion sure is busy."

I said.

"It sure is."

Said Diantha.

"What are you going to do now Diantha?"

I asked.

"Well I've decided to leave the league and focus on my acting career."

Said Diantha.

"Well good luck."

I said.

"Thanks you too. I'll have one of my makeup artists and wardrobe crew help you look amazing tonight for the cameras."

Said Diantha.

"Okay."

I said.

Diantha introduce me to her make up artists and wardrobe crew.

"Well let's get you all dressed up. We'll make you look fantastic."

Said the wardrobe crew leader.

They took me too the studio in town where they got Diantha ready for her movies.

"You have such lovely eyes Ms. Duncan."

Said the makeup artist.

"Oh thanks..."

I said.

I have always gotten compliments on my eyes. My eyes were my most noticeable feature. My eyes had several mixtures of green brown and a slight red and yellow tinge that made them stand out.

"Let's make those eyes of yours stand out."

She said applying a pale rose gold eye shadow to my eyelids.

"Green seems to be your signature color Ms. Why don't we try a more vibrant color like a fiery red."

Said the wardrobe crew leader pulling out a long red red dress out of the closet.

While they were busy with hair and makeup Diantha's hair dresser was curling my brown hair
with a big curling wand.

"Your hair is so long and lovely. Quite easy to curl too."

Said the hair dresser.

"Thanks."

I said.

It took a few hours but they were finally done. I took a look at myself in the mirror and could hardly recognize myself.

"Woah...."

I said while still in shock.

"You look fantastic."

I turned around to see my best friend Alain.

"Alain what are you doing here?"

I asked.

"I came by to see you. You actually look like girl for once."

Said Alain teasing me.

"Haha very funny."

I said while playfully punching him in the arm.

"Are you nervous about your interview with Malva?"

Asked Alain.

"A little."

I said.

"Don't be. You'll do great."

Said Alain trying to encourage me.

"Thanks for the encouragement."

I said while twirling around in my red dress.

Alain nodded and looked out the window.

"The Lumious Tower is finally rebuilt."

Said Alain with a smile.

"Really that quickly?"

I asked.

"Yeah Ash and Clemont have been working hard along with Myer to rebuild it."

Said Alain.

"What have you been doing?"

I asked.

"Thinking..."

Said Alain.

"About what?"

I asked.

"I went with professor sycamore on a trip to the visit the other cities in Kalos to make sure that everyone was okay. I wanted to go because I wanted to clear my head."

He said.

I knew that Alain felt guilty about everything that happened with Team Flare. I wish there was a way I could've helped him but there was unfortunately, nothing that I could do.

"You didn't kno-"

"Lil you don't get it! Because of my choice to follow Lysandre, ended up hurting everyone around me! None of this would've happened had I have not agreed to help Lysandre!"

Shouted Alain.

"There's no need to snap at me! I'm only trying to help! You have good judgement Alain! Lysandre would've tried to destroyed the world regardless of weather you were involved or not!"

I snapped.

"It's not like you have good judgement! Why are you lecturing me?!"

He shouted.

"What on earth are you talking about?!"

I shouted.

"Just listen to me! Nate is hiding something Lil! I just know it! You're too blind to say it because you love him! You let your emotions get in the way of everything!"

"Alain we've already discussed this."

"Just listen to me!"

"Alain just drop it."

I said through my gritted teeth.

"I have a bad feeling about Nate and-"

"ALAIN I SAID JUST DROP IT!!! YOU'RE SAYING THAT I HAVE BAD JUDGEMENT?!?!?! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO ALMOST HELPED A MAN DESTROY THE WORLD!!!!"

Alain looked at me in shock. Normally I'm not one to yell or right back but I wanted to make my point.

"I'm only trying to protect you. I'm going to go back to the Professor's Lab. I'll see you at the tower in an hour."

Said Alain sadly.

"Alain I didn't mean tha-

Before I could finish Alain shut the door behind him and left. Spark looked at me with a look filled with disappointment.

"What are you looking at?! What would you've said?!"

I snapped.

Spark rolled his eyes and looked out the window at the Lumious tower.

"Man I hurt him! Me and my big mouth."

I said while burying my face in my hands.

I heard a soft knock on my door.

"Alain I'm really sorry I-"

The door opened and revealed my boyfriend standing in my room.

"Hey Lil congrats on becoming champion."

Said my boyfriend giving me a hug.

"Nate! I'm so happy you could make it."

I said while hugging him back.

"You look beautiful Lil."

Said Nate stroking my cheek.

I blushed and smiled.

"Thanks."

I said while kissing him on the cheek.

"I heard you say something about Alain."

He said.

"We got in a fight. I'll apologize to him later."

I said.

"Best friends fight sometimes I guess."

He said.

"Yeah I guess. This was a pretty big fight though..."

I said.

"Is it something you want to tell me about?"

He asked.

"It's really personal."

I said.

"You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

Said Nate.

I looked into Nate's brown eyes and smiled.

"It's fine. It's better that I keep it between Alain and I."

I said.

"Okay. So you finally achieved you're dream. What's next?"

Asked Nate.

"Honestly I'm not sure. My Uncle Looker wants me to help him with his work as the head of International Police."

I said.

"That's something that's definitely up your ally. I'm lucky to have the smartest girls in the world as my girlfriend."

Said Nate.

"You're so sweet."

I said.

Nate gave me a kiss on the lips and I kissed him back. Then I heard someone knocking on the door.

"Hello who is it?"

I asked.

"It's Rj. I wanted to tell you that there's a limo waiting for you."

"K I'm coming!"

I said.

"Nate I have to go."

I said.

"I'll be sure to cheer for you extra loudly."

Said Nate.

"Thanks Nate."

I said.

"Hey Lil. Aracel told me to tell you that after the awards and grand re-opening of the Lumious City Gym that she's holding a party in your honor to celebrate you becoming champion."

Said Rj.

"That's extremely nice of Aracel."

I said with a smile.

"Yeah it's also for the people who helped save Kalos. So that also includes you."

He said.

"Don't forget you helped too Rj."

I said.

"I did whatever I could. Besides I wanted to stop their freaks from destroying our home."

Said Rj.

"You and me both. We couldn't save everybody though. Lives were lost."

I said referring to my best friend.

"You did everything you could Lil. It wasn't your fault."

Said Rj.

I nodded.

"I'll see you soon!"

Said Rj with a thumbs up.

"I'll see you soon Rj."

I said waving goodbye.

"Well that's my cue. I'll see you later Nate!"

I said while kissing him goodbye.

"See yah later."

Said Nate.

Walked down the stairs carefully to make sure that I didn't trip in my high heels which were extremely hard to walk in. I carefully made my way down the stairs finally reaching the bottom of the steps.

I walked out the door and saw the limo waiting for me. The shoufur opened the door for me and I walked in and sat down. To my surprise Alain was in the limo too.

"Alain what are you doing here?"

I Asked.

"Same thing as you riding the limo to the awards ceremony."

Said Alain coldly.

"About what I said earlier I-"

"I'm not in the mood to hear it Lillian."

Said Alain.

"I just wanted to say that I never meant what I said and I'm sorry."

I said.

Alain sighed and looked at me.

"I was only trying to protect you that's all."

Said Alain placing his hand on my right shoulder.

"I know but I'm fine."

I said.

"I was only warning you."

He said.

"About what?"

I asked.

Before he could say anything else the car stopped and the shoufur let us out of the limo and we walked slowly across the isle while everyone cheered.

"Wow huge crowd."

I said.

"Yeah you nervous?"

Asked Alain.

"A little bit..."

I said.

"Don't be. People are here to celebrate you."

"It's not just me Alain. It's for you, Ash, Serena, Rj, it's for everyone that helped."

I said.

"Well it's mostly for you."

Said Alain.

"Why does everyone think it's about me?! If anyone saved the day it's you and Ash."

I said with a smile.

"I'm the one who caused the disaster!"

Said Alain.

"If anyone's to blame it's Lysandre. You helped save us. Forget about what happened Lysandre tricked you. So just relax this celebration is for you and Ash. So enjoy it."

I said.

Alain nodded and smiled at me.

I walked up the front steps of the Lumious City tower and joined Professor Sycamore and the others at the top.

Ash, Clemont and even Rj were wearing tuxes and ties. Serena was wearing a short cute pink dress with Black trim and she had in a black chocked with a small pink rose at the center and her honey blonde hair was in ringlet curls head together by two black rose hair pins.

Aracel was standing there with Professor Sycamore. Aracel looked like a Goddess. Her colorful hair was pulled back into a fancy bun with small curls by her ears.

She was seeing a long white strapless grown with gold trim at the bottom and she had on her tiara with her keystone at the center.

I walked up onto the podium and stood there next to Serena and Alain. Professor Sycamore walked up to the microphone and cleared his throat and the crowd became silent.

"Hello Citizens of Lumious City! We Wellcome you here on this very special night to thank these brave teens for saving not just Lumious City but the entire world! We would like to give thanks to these brave teens for putting their own lives on the line to save all of us! The Sinnoh Champion Aracel Mikalson would like to say a few words."

Said Professor Sucamore handing the mic to Aracel.

"Thank you Professor Sycamore. Bonjour citizens of Kalos! I would like to help professor sycamore distribute these awards to these amazing people. Sinnoh may be my home but Kalos is my second home. I would really like to thank them for saving my home and the entire world from destruction. Without these amazing people and their Pokemon we wouldn't be standing here today! So please give them a big hand!"

Said Aracel.

The entire crowd cheered and shouted our names.

Aracel and professor sycamore walked up to us began placing medals around our necks. Professor Sycamore placed a medal around my neck and smiled.

"Congrats on becoming champion Lillian! Your Uncle must be proud."

Said Professor Sycamore.

"He won't stop bragging to our neighbors the minute I called him."

I said professor sycamore an do laughed a little and he moved onto Serena and placed the medal around her neck. Aracel walked up to Alain and placed a medal around his neck and smiled.

"Congrats on winning the Kalos league by the way."

Said Aracel winking at Alain.

"Thank you."

Said Alain slightly blushing I winked at Alain and he playfully nudged me. After everyone had received their awards we went straight to the party held at Hotel Richime to celebrate.

"Now it's your turn to relax Lil. This is to celebrate you."

Said Alain smiling at me.

"Thanks you have fun too."

I said while smiling at him.

Unfortunately Nate said that he couldn't make it tonight. I sighed when I read his text but walked to meet my other friends.

"Hey Lil there's someone I want you to meet."

Said Serena.

I joined Serena and there was tall boy who looked a year older than me standing right next to her. He had shaggy dark brown hair and big grey eyes. He was actually pretty attractive.

"This is my childhood friend Calem."

Said Serena.

"Hi Calem. I'm Lillian."

I said while waving at him.

"Nice to meet you Lillian. It's nice to meet one of Serena's close friends."

Said Calem.

"Same here. So were you guys neighbors?"

I asked.

"Actually Calem was one of the first friends I had met when I moved to Kalos. We've been friends for ten years."

She said.

"Wow that's a long time."

I said.

"So congrats on becoming champion."

Said Calem smiling at me.

"Oh um... Thanks."

I said while smiling.

Then out of the corner of my eye I saw something horrible. I saw my saw my boyfriend kissing another girl. I felt tears rising up an they were about to spill out onto my cheeks.

"Hey Lil are you okay?"

Asked Serena.

"No Serena. Turn around."

I said.

Serena turned around to see Nate kissing another girl.

"No way!!!!"

Shouted Serena in shock.

"I'm confused."

Said Calem.

"That's my boyfriend and he's kissing another girl!"

I shouted almost in tears.

Then I saw Rj tap Nate on the shoulder.

"What do you think you're doing?! Nate you have a girlfriend!"

Shouted Rj grabbing Bate by the color of his shirt.

"Lillian doesn't have to know."

Said Nate firmly.

"It's already too late for that Nate!"

I shouted.

Nate turned around and he looked shocked to see me. The other girl stood there with her hands on her hips and glared at Nate.

"Nate would you please tell me what's going on?!"

"Rosa it's just a huge misunderstanding."

Said Nate.

"Really because it seems like you've already had a girlfriend before I came into the picture!"

Shouted Rosa.

"Well I-"

"It's over Nate!"

Shouted Rosa dumping a glass of punch on Nate.

"Serves him right..."

Said Rj under his breath.

"Nate I can't you'd do this to me! Why?!"

I shouted stomping while stomping off.

"Wait Lillian I-"

"Shut up Nate! I don't ever want to see you again! Just leave me alone! Don't ever talk to me again!"

I shouted while running off in tears.

I could hear Nate shouting my name but I didn't really care. I would never be speaking to him ever again!

I ran off and sat down at the edge of the water fountain across from the park and began to cry.

I can't believe he would do something so horrible! I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder.

"Nate go away!"

I shouted.

I turned around to see Calem standing behind me.

"Oh... Hey Calem..."

I said while drying my tears. I probably looked awful. I probably mascara streaming down my face but I honestly didn't care anymore.

"Hey Lillian. I thought you'd want someone to talk to. I know we just met and all but I was kind of worried when you ran off like that. It's not safe to be out here by yourself at night. Especially in a huge city like this."

Said Calem.

"Thanks for checking on me. That's sweet of you."

I said while trying to dry my tears.

"Well Serena and your other friends are really worried about you. Especially Alain."

Said Calem.

"Yeah Alain and I have been best friends since we were very little. Alain's like my big brother. I'm surprised he hasn't retired to kill Nate yet.

I said.

"He almost punched him in the face and Rj was encouraging him to but Ash stopped him."

"Sounds like something Rj and Alain would do. They both care about my well being."

I said.

"Just so you know I do too.... Even though we just met and all..."

Said Calem.

"That's very sweet Calem. So where are my friends?"

I asked.

"Looking for you. I'm glad I found you. Your friends are worried sick about you."

Said Calem.

"I'm sure they are."

I said.

"Do you want me to take you to them?"

Asked Calem.

"That would be nice. Thanks Calem."

I said.

"Here let me help you up."

Said Calem lending me his hand.

"Thanks."

I said I took his hand and slightly blushed.

As he helped pull me up I winked and fell into his arms. I looked into his big grey eyes and blushed.

Stop it Lillian it's better to never fall in love again! Boys are stupid anyway! I said while trying to give myself a pep talk.

"Sorry I lost my balance."

I said.

"No you're fine. No need to apologize."

Said Calem.

I nodded.

"Let's take you to your friend now."

Said Calem.

I walked with Calem and we walked back together to go meet my friends.

I jolted out of bed and threw he covers off of me and began to breath heavily.

This wasn't a dream this actaully happened my boyfriend broke my heart a Million pieces. Well my Ex-boyfriend now.

I whipped the sweat off of my forehead and began to breathe heavily.

I looked at the clock and it was only 1:00 AM. I sighed and tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't sleep. Spark woke up and noticed me sweating he could tell that I had another dream.

"Spark it's okay. It was a dream please go back to sleep."

I whispered.

Spark nuzzled up closely against me and I pet his head. That day was probably the best and worst day of my life.

I had finally achieved my dream but then my heart was shattered on the same day. The day that was supposed to be the best day of my life turned out to be one of my worst.

I sighed and closed my eyes, trying to forget about that day. However that day wasn't the worst day. It was the day I became champion and the day I met Calem.
