Third Person POV

Plumeria looked at the crowd and this nervous feeling brought her back to when she was a twelve year old girl at her first Pokemon Contest.

"Go Crobat and Haunchcrow!"

She shouted releasing the two flying types.

"Crobat use haze!"

Shouted Plumeria.

Crobat used haze causing the battle field to be completely covered in smoke.

"Now Haunchcrow use use sky attack than go into double team!"

Shouted Plumeria.

Then several glowing copies of Haunchcrow flew through the smoke causing the crowd to become completely enamored by it all.

"Crobat use Gust and Haunchcrow use Dark Pulse!"

Then the smoke cleared and Gust Dark Pulse causing to make a shimmering light that spread throughout the stage.

"Now Haunchrow finish it with shadowball and Crobat use steel wing!"

Shadowball hit steel wing causing sparkles to rain down on the audience. The audience cheered and they looked enamored by her performance.

Lillian and her friends say in the audience and were amazed by Mira's performance.

Lillian's POV

"Woah... She's good..."

Said Mairin.

"I'll admit I thought I would be bored at this contest but man was I wrong. That performance was actaully fun to watch."

Said Alain.

"Wow so pretty!!!"

Said Hazel.

"She did a good job at showing off her Pokemon."

Said Selene.

"Serena better watch out for her because she's very good."

Said Rj.

"And kind of pretty."

Said Alec.

"Don't even think about it."

Said Rj glaring at Alec.

"WHAT IT'S TRUE!!!"

Shouted Alec.

Rj sighed and rolled his eyes and took a sip of his drink sitting in the coaster of his chair.

"I'm so tired."

I said while yawning.

"Well duh!!! You didn't sleep for two straight days!!!"

Shouted Alain.

I glared Alain letting him know that I wasn't in the mood to deal with him and his know it all attitude.

"Here I brought some more energy drinks just in case."

Said Gladion handing handing me a drink out of his backpack

"Aw thanks so much. How much more did you bring?"

I asked while yawning.

"About six of them."

Said Gladion.

"Does she really need that many?!"

Shouted Calem.

"I haven't slept in two straight days!"

I shouted while snapping at Calem.

"You're super moody too."

Said Calem.

I caught myself almost falling asleep but then Gladion put the cold energy drink can to my face waking me up.

"Don't fall asleep before you get to watch Serena preform."

Said Gladion.

Gladion stared at Mira who was getting off the stage.

"All the judges gave her good praise. She even got very high praise from Aracel. Aracel doesn't just compliment everybody. She's a very tough judge."

Said Rj.

"Yeah..."

Said Gladion suspiciously.

"Gladion what's wrong?"

Asked Lillie who looked concerned for her brother.

"She just seems familiar and I'm getting bad vibes."

Said Gladion.

"It's probably the hot dog you just ate. The only thing here that is sketchy is the food stand we were just at."

Said Lillie.

"You got that right. My hamburger smells like dirty socks."

Said Alec while pushing his hamburger away from him.

"To be fair you put Sunny D in your cereal so that would explain your upset stomach."

Said Rj.

"What?! Kukui was out of milk! When does that guy ever go to the store!!!"

Shouted Alec.

"The answer to that question is never."

Said Selene sighing.

I looked at Mira some more and Gladion was right. She looked like someone I knew and it didn't seem like a coincidence either.

"But now that I think about it. She reminds me of someone too but I can't think of who..."

I said while watching her get off stage.

"You too Lillian!"

Said Lillie.

"Something just seems off."

Said Gladion.

"Agreed."

I said while looking at Mira.

"You guys are being ridiculous! What do you think that she's secretly a criminal?!"

Shouted Lillie.

"Maybe..."

Said Gladion.

"Now I wouldn't go that far..."

I said.

"Hey guys Serena texted me and said that she's up next."

Said Calem showing me his phone.

"Can't wait to see her preform!!!"

I said.

"She'll do good. I know she will!"

Said Ash.

"You seem pretty confident Ash."

Said Rj.

"What he likes her so of course he is confident in her skills."

Said Alec winking at Ash.

"ALEC!!!!"

Shouted Ash who was beat red.

I laughed a little and then I looked at Calem and he smiled at me and I slightly blushed.

Geez why is he so cute?!?! I thought to myself while heavily blushing.

"Hey guys is it okay if we join you?"

I turned around to see Misty and Gary waving at us.

"GARY?!?! What are you doing here?!?!"

Shouted Ash in shock.

"I came here to support the girls and I'm the reason that got plane tickets. My grandfather wanted to study some of the Pokemon in Alola. There are some Pokemon in Kanto that have taken different because of the climate change. They even have changed their types as well."

Said Gary.

"Wow that's so cool!"

Said Ash.

"Did you say girls?!"

Said Alec in a flirty tone.

"Oh Arceus not this again..."

Said Alain.

"Now you know how I feel!"

Said Rj rolling his eyes.

"Sure you guys can sit with us!"

I said while smiling.

Misty sat in the empty seat next to Alec and Gary sat next to Ash. Alec winked at Misty and Misty gave him a cold glare.

"Don't you even think about it pal! I have a wooden mallet and I'm not afraid to use it!"

Shouted Misty.

"Can I borrow it?! I would like to knock some sense into Alec's big fat empty head! There's a lot of unused space up there!!!"

Shouted Rj.

"Dude I don't want brain damage!"

Said Alec.

"It's already too late for that!"

Said Rj.

"What's that supped to mean?!"

Shouted Alec.

"Guys lets not fight!"

Said Hazel breaking Alec and Rj apart.

Star sat in her seat while drawing in her notebook.

"What are you drawing?"

I asked.

She showed me a picture of Crobat and Haunchcrow.

"So you drew that?!"

I shouted in amazement.

"Yeah. This contest is sure giving me a ton of inspiration."

Said Star with a big smile on her face.

"It's an amazing drawing."

Said Alec causing Star to slightly blush.

"Can you draw me with biceps and six pack?!"

Asked Alec.

"That's so weird and unrealistic."

Said Rj.

"Who said drawings have to be realistic!"

Shouted Alec.

I rolled my eyes at Alec's childlike behavior as Siledad had just finished her performance with her Pidgeott and slowking on the stage and got some good compliments from the judges.

"Soledad's good too."

Said Ash.

"I'm gonna keep my eye on Mira."

Said Gladion.

Serena's POV
"I'm next..."

I said while shaking on my chair.

"Relax you'll do great!"

Said Dawn giving me a thumbs up.

"Yeah you totally will! And I' positive that you'll make the second round."

Said May.

"Really you guys think so?!"

I asked.

"We wouldn't lie to you!"

Said Dawn smiling at me.

"Lillian and Ash think you can do it!"

Said May.

"Okay I'll go out there and do my best!"

I said.

"Serena you're up."

Said the contest aid.

I nodded and followed him backstage. I watched Harley preform and he was good. I knew that I would probably have to face Dawn or May if I made it to the final round.

"Next up is Serena Yovonne from Vanaville Town!"

Shouted the host.

"Okay Sylveon and Cleffa its show time!"

I shouted releasing my two Pokemon.

I had caught Cleffa a few days ago while I was out with Ash. Ash had helped catch it so Cleffa was pretty special to me.

"Cleffa use sing and Sylveon use Fairy Wind!"

I shouted Fairy Wind carried the music notes and they swirled around the stage.

"Now Cleffa use Dizzy punch and Sylveon use misty terrain!"

I shouted.

Cleffa's Dizzy punch hit the music notes cashing sparkles to drop on the stage and misty terrain covered the stage.

"Now let's Finish this Cleffa use magical lead and Sylveon use Swift!"

I shouted.

Magical leaf and Swift collided and sparkles filled the air and surrounded the audience.

"Wow that was remarkable!"

Said Mr. Suziko.

"I couldn't take my eyes off of Cleffa and Sylevon you really showed off how cute Cleffa and Sylveon were!"

Said Nurse Joy.

"That was a pretty good performance. I liked how you showed off the qualities of your two fairy type Pokemon! It was fun performance to watch."

Said Aracel.

I left feeling good about my performance and walked off stage feeling confident.

Third Person POV

Plumeria stood there starring at the screen. She hated to admit it but Serena had an amazing performance despite being a newbie.

She had definitely regretted thinking that Serena would be easy to beat. Now she would have to work extra hard to beat her.

"Wow the twerp is good."

Said Jessaleene starring at the screen.

"Woah that was so good."

Said Drew in shock.

"Drew you're up next!"

Said the aid.

Drew nodded and followed her.

"Huh! Well what do ya know. Serena's actaully really good."

Said Harley.

"Yeah no kidding."

Said May with a smile on her face.

"See I told you she would have a great performance!"

Said Dawn.

"Even Aracel had given her such high praise."

Said Soledad.

"Hey guys how was that?!"

Asked Serena coming back from the stage.

"That was incredible! You even made Drew a little scared and that's hard to do!"

Said May.

"Really was it that good?"

Asked Serena.

"That wasn't just good that was incredible!"

Said Soledad.

"Yeah you've even made me scared."

Said Dawn.

"Dawn why are you so scared?"

Asked Serena.

"I really want Aracel to like my performance."

Said Dawn.

"And she will."

Said May with a reassuring smile.

"Wow looks like Drew's impressed the judges."

Said Soledad.

"Not Aracel though."

Said Harley.

"Do you have a strong bond between you and your Pokemon Drew?"

Asked Aracel on the screen.

"What do you mean by that?"

He asked.

"Until you do, you can never really give me and Audience your best performance. I want you to think about what your Pokemon mean to you and why you're competing in contests. If you don't figure it out you'll never become too coordinator."

Said Aracel on the screen.

"Ouch. That's gotta hurt Drew's ego."

Said Harley.

"Yeah..."

Said May sadly.

"You know who we really have to watch out for?"

Asked Soledad.

"Who?"

Asked May.

"Mira. She probably got the highest scores in this competition and the highest praise out of everybody."

Said Soledad.

"She sure did."

Said Harley.

"Harley you don't seem nervous."

Said Soledad.

"That's because I have goal in mind and I can't let my nerves get in the way of my goal."

Said Harley.

"What is your goal?"

Asked Soledad.

"It's more of a personal goal."

Said Harley walking away.

Harley didn't want Soledad to know that his goal was to impress her. He's had a crush on her for years. He's never admitted though. He wanted to confess tonight wether he won or lost this contest.

"He's more quiet than usual."

Said May.

"Normally Harley's more competitive now he just seems relaxed."

Said Dawn.

"Yeah I agree."

Said Soledad.

"He seems focussed though."

Said Dawn.

"Well well if it isn't Dee Dee."

Dawn turned around to see her enemy Ursula.

"URSULA!!!!"

Shouted Dawn.

"So have you performed yet?"

Asked Ursula.

"No not yet..."

Said Dawn.

"Well just so you know I'm gonna beat you!!! That ribbon has my name it!!!!!"

Said Ursula.

"Look I'm gonna win this ribbon!!! Who says I won't?!?!?!"

"I do and the only walking with a ribbon in her case will be ME!!! And me alone!!!"

Shouted Ursula.

"I think you've forgotten the purpose of Pokemon contests."

Dawn Turned around to see Mira standing with her arms crossed.

"These contests are to show off the bond between Pokemon and trainer. It's not all about the trainer you know!"

Said Mira walking off.

"Oh really well you all better watch out because I'm beating both of you!!! See you in the final round Dee Dee!!!"

Said Ursula with a smirk.

"Just ignore her you'll do fine."

Said Mia walking off.

Dawn smiled and nodded even Mira believed that she could she could do it.

"Dawn you're up next!"

Said the contest aid taking Dawn backstage.

"Our next performer is dawn from Twin leaf town!!!"

Shouted the host.

Dawn ran out on stage and released her Pokemon.

"Okay Tyflosion and Mamoswine come on out!!!"

Shouted Dawn releasing her two Pokemon.

"Mamoswine use Ancient power and Tyflosion use Slash!"

Shouted Dawn.

The fire type smashed through all of the giant rocks causing them to all devolve.

"Now Mamoswine use Ice Shard and Tyflosion use Flamethrower!"

The Iove shards surrounded the fire type in a circle while Typhlosion's powerful flamethrower made the stage shine brightly.

"No for the Dazzeling finish Tyflosion use flamewheel and Mamoswine use ice beam!"

Shouted Dawn.

Then a powerful I've chandelier combination was created.

"Wow how remarkable!"

Said Mr. Sukizo.

"So pretty and I loved how you showed off tyflosion's power."

Said Nurse Joy.

"So much power! You've definitely raised your Pokemon well. I'm impressed with how you brought out the toughness in your Pokemon. What a Great performance."

Said Aracel,

Dawn smiled as she had just impressed her Idol. Dawn's heart was beating out of her chest she could barley move. She was filled with so much happiness and joy. Hopefully that was enough to get her through to the final round.

"Wow Dawn did good!"

Said May.

"Hmph she didn't do as good as I did!"

Said Ursula cross son her arms.

"I hope my perfeance was good enough."

Said May.

All of the contestants patiently waited for the results. Hoping what they did was enough.
