Third Person POV

"Okay the results are up! We have narrowed it down to the top sixteen in order of scores and here they are on screen!"

Mira's face appeared first on the screen then Serena's was next Mira.

"Wow Serena you made it in!!!"

Shouted Dawn.

"And you got the second highest score!!!"

Said Soledad.

Then Soledad placed third and Harley placed forth and they were on the screen next to each other. Dawn placed fifth, Ursula placed Sixth, May placed Seventh, and Jessaleene placed eighth.

More faces came up on the screen but no one knew who would be placed next. All the results had come in but Drew didn't make the cut. Drew looked like he was expecting it.

"Oh Drew I'm so-"

"Don't feel sorry for me May I knew that wasn't my best performance. I'm going to go watch the rest of the contest! Good luck May."

Said Drew walking away sadly.

May looked sad as she had watched drew walk back to the where the audience was sitting.

"Drew...."

She said under her breath.

"Don't worry about him he'll be cheering you on. He would want you to focus on your battle and not on him. So just give Drew your best performance and win it for him."

Said Harley.

"Wow Harley you actually gave May some good advice."

Said Soledad causing Harley to blush.

"Just trying to help."

Said Harley trying to hide his blush.

Soledad smiled and walked back to her dressing table. May nudged him in the shoulder and winked at him letting him know that she knew what was up.

"You totally like her! how romantic."

Said May whispering to Harley.

"Tell her and you're dead shortie!"

Said Harley through his gritted teeth.

"Are you going to tell her how you feel?"

Asked May.

"Yes. Its her birthday and I wanted to give her this."

Said Harley pulling out a golden heart shaped locket with a pink heart shaped stone at the center.

"Aww!!! How sweet!!! who knew you were the romantic type!!!"

Said May squealing in delight.

"Shhh!!! Keep it down I don't Soledad to know yet!!!"

Said Harley bringing it back down to a whisper while slipping the locket back into the jacket pocket of his tuxedo.

"I wish I could courage to confess."

Said May.

"Oh you mean Drew."

Said Harley in a flirty tone.

"Would you stop!"

Said May while heavily blushing.

"It's only fair you tease me all the time about Soledad."

Said Harley matter of factly.

"At least I didn't tell Lillian because she would be all over you if she found out."

Said May.

"Please don't tell her because you know she'll try to meddle."

Said Harley.

"You know that she only means well Harley."

Said May.

"I know but please don't tell her."

Said Harley.

"I didn't say I was."

Said May.

"You know if you want to know something Drew totally likes you."

Said Harley.

"How do you know?!"

Asked May while blushing.

"Soledad told me. You should tell him."

Said Harley.

"Yeah I guess."

Said May while blushing.

Jessaleene was in the corner spying on May off in the corner.

"I can't believe that that little twerp beat me! Oh well I have a plan for her."

Said Jessie while snickering.

Ursula had overheard what was happening and she walked over to Jessie and tapped her on the shoulder.

"You I hate Dee Dee and you hate May so why don't we work together and knock them both out of the competition."

Said Ursula.

"Good idea but how do I know that you won't back stab me."

Said Jessaleene.

"I don't care about winning this time I just want Dee Dee to suffer."

Said Ursula with a vengeful look in her eyes.

"Deal."

Said Jessie smiling while shaking Ursula's hand.

"You know why don't we have some fun now because I've got a plan."

Said Ursula while smirking.m

Then Ursula whispered her plan to Jessie while nodded and they both snickered together. Little did they know that Mira had overheard them and knew what was up.

Serena saw Lillian towards the dressing room and she gave Serena a huge hug.

"I knew you could do it congrats on making it in!!!"

Said Lillian while giving Serena hug.

"Wow thanks for the support Lil!"

Said Serena.

"Ash is really proud too."

Said Lillian while winking at her.

"Really he is?"

Asked Serena while blushing.

"He sure is."

Said Lillian while winking at Serena.

"Now here are the second round battle match ups!"

Said the announcer on the screen.

Then it showed the battle match ups. Soledad was up against some other trainer, Serena was up against Dawn, May was up against Jessaleene, Ursula was up against some other trainer, and Harley was up against Mira.

"Woah I'm up against Mira."

Said Harley in shock.

"Congrats on making it this far. Good luck."

Said Mira to Harley while walking away.

"She actually congratulated you."

Said Lillian.

"Yeah she did..."

Said Harley in shock.

"Wow you are and I battling."

Said Dawn.

"Yeah."

Said Serena.

"Do me a favor and beat her for me. I hope you and I can face off in the finals."

Said Ursula to Serena while walking off.

Mira glared at Ursula and Ursula gave her an innocent look.

"What's up with those two?"

Asked Soledad.

"When is Ursula not ticking people off."

Said Dawn with her hands on her hips.

"The first battle will be taking place in ten minutes. May and Jessaleene take your places."

Said the announcer.

"You know the plan Jesseleene leave it up to me."

Said Ursula whispering in Jessie's ear.

Jessie nodded and smirked.

"That brunette twerp has no idea what's coming."

Said Jessie whispering to Ursula.

Jessie went off to the stage and May began to straighten up her hair when Ursula grabbed her by the arm.

"What is it Ursula?"

Asked May.

"Drew wants to talk to you in private."

Said Ursula.

May nodded and left her Pokeballs on the dressing table. Ursula lead her into a small hallway where the storage closet is.

"Are sure that drew is in here?"

Asked May suspiciously.

Ursula smirked and pushed May in the storage closet and locked the door.

"NO!!! Ursula let me out this isn't funny anymore!!!"

Shouted May on the verge of tears.

"Ops my bad!"

Said Ursula while laughing and walking off.

"Let me out!!!!!!"

Shouted May.

Jessaleene is out on the stage waiting along with the judges.

"Hello is May Maple here?"

Asked the announcer.

"If you don't come out we'll have to call this a forfeit."

Said the announcer.

May could here the announcer and started banging on the door.

"PLEASE HELP URSULA LOCKED ME IN THE CLOSET!!!!!!"

Shouted May.

"Well it looks we have no choice but to call off the match. Which means that Jessaleene moves on to round two."

Said the Announcer.

May then banged on the door and began to cry.

"No...."

Said May while crying.

"May you in there!"

She could here Drew's voice through the door. Then she heard the door being kicked down and it reviled Mira and Drew behind the door.

"It's too late..."

Said May in tears.

"I'll make sure that Jessaleene girl pays. Ursula and Jessaleene were in on this together I ran and got Drew to help but we were too late. They have something planed for Dawn as well."

Said Mira.

"We have to stop them."

Said Drew.

"We need proof to get them disqualified. They need more than just someone telling them about it. They'll think that we're just trying to get them disqualified."

Said Mira.

"Luckily I have someone that an help."

Said May.

"Lillian?"

Asked Drew.

"Yep. Why wouldn't I ask for help from a renowned detective."

Said May.

"Well we have to hurry. Dawn's up next."

Said Mira.

"She is?! Then we have to hurry!"

Shouted May.

Lillian's POV

"I can't believe May missed her performance."

Said Ash.

"Something seems wrong."

Said Misty.

"You got that right! I know May. She would never miss a performance not ever."

I said.

Then I saw Mira, May and Drew approach the stands.

"May what were you doing in there?!"

Shouted Ash.

"Ursula locked me in the storage closet just so Jessaleene could advance!"

Shouted May.

"That's horrible!!!"

Shouted Mairin.

"Sounds like something Ursula would do!"

Shouted Ash.

"They both have formed alliance toe guest to make sure that Ursula gets her revenge on Dawn and to make sure that Jessaleene makes it into the final round and we need your help to find some evidence to get them disqualified."

Said Mira.

"Mira overheard them talking but we were to late to help May! We need you to help Dawn now."

Said Drew.

"Okay I'll help."

I said.

"I'll help too!"

said Gladion.

Mira looked shocked when she saw Gladion standing there.

"Something wrong Mira?"

Asked May.

"No I'm fine but we have to hurry!"

Shouted Mira.

We all ran off to stop Jessaleene and Ursula from cheating again.
