Chapter 6
Hey, gurls!
Random thought of the moment: Life is crazy!
Okay, here's the next chapter.
*Raven POV*
Normally, Bads don't associate with one another on the best terms.
But when it's Saturday, those rules go out the window.
Especially during a party.
I smiled as I walked through the door of the White Rain club, a popular spot for Bad parties.
Inside, this week's party was in full swing. Music was blasting from the speakers, people were dancing everywhere, and the bar was getting quite a bit of attention.
I noticed the Sirens lounging in their respective corner, one of them getting up every so often to go sing for the others in the club.
The Sirens were a very powerful group. Acting just like the mythological creatures, they used their voices to gain money and followers, two of the best things to have in the Badlands.
For my part, I usually tried to stay away from them; I didn't trust them, and... well, I had my other reason.
It had to do with one of my lesser known skills.
I walked over to the bar, and the barman, Gabe, gave me a rare smile when he saw me.
Gabe was another acquaintance of mine. He was one of the well-known Bad adults, and his particular skill was Barkeeping.
However, everyone knew that he was not someone to be messed with, as he had a vast knowledge of weaponry, poisons, and the human body.
He was dangerous, but he was also a good person to be around.
For me, he was like family.
"Good evening, fledgling," he said, passing me my usual: a shot of vodka and a Dr. Pepper.
"Gabriel," I returned, downing the vodka quickly.
It was an unwritten rule that I never drank too much at a party. I always ordered one shot, and if anyone tried to serve me more, Gabe would see to it that their life was a living hell.
As I sipped my soda, I noticed a small girl walking in my direction.
I almost reached for my knives, but I managed to restrain myself as she approached.
"Are you Raven Williams?" she asked, her voice shaking as she spoke.
"Who wants to know?" I replied.
Then I saw the grey scarf around her neck, and I scowled.
Not another one...
Another tradition I faced at every party was an embassy from the Sirens.
The offers were always the same:
Join us, and you'll receive protection.
Join us, and we'll provide you the utmost comfort.
Anything you want... if you join us.
After the first few times, I threatened to dismember anyone that they sent over.
So, the cowards started sending their young ones over to talk to me.
I couldn't kill kids, and they knew it.
I looked over at the Siren girl, then across the room at the group.
They were all laughing and joking around, like all the other groups.
But at the center of it all, I saw a girl with blonde hair, and I could see that she was looking right at me.
"Tell them I'm not interested, and I never will be," I said to the young Siren, and she scurried off quickly.
Not this time, Willow, I thought to myself, Not ever.
You aren't getting my voice.
A/N: Sorry for the long wait; I've been super busy, and I forgot.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed this little nonsense chapter.
Luv you all! *blows kisses*
