What good would life be
If I was only one half?

"Without my best friend near
I miss her sparkly laugh."

An ear to spill my venting
Wide arms to build me up.

"Funny words she loves inventing
She always cracks me up"

My high when I hit my lows,
Giving me confidence galore.

"My smile when the burden grows.
Her texts on my screen I adore."

We share passion for words
Music and poems we sing

"I call her my real Melody
To each other strength we bring"

One day I'll write you a song,
And you'll cook my favorite food

"Together we'll never go wrong
I'll do my best to lift your mood"

Sometimes we may even fight,
Annoying we really can get.

"But her forgiving heart
Never leaves me upset"

In the end I'm happy
I'm so glad we have met!

"And it's an extreme honor
To call you my best friend"
