The teens who lived in Orange County worshipped the summer time. Counting down the days, hours, minutes, until the final bell would ring and they would be released back to their natural habitats. 

Oh, to spend the days in bikinis, building a tan, playing beach volleyball, and searching the beach for seashells. It was luxury.

When the school year of 2004 finally ended and the kids rushed out of the building, everyone felt renewed. Most wouldn't be seen indoors again until September unless they were bribed with fresh watermelon slices.

Ruby Windsor felt no shame in being included in the clique of summer lovers. She thrived in those months. The time of tube tops and jean shorts.

Like a majority of the kids in the county, Ruby's family lived in the richest neighborhood and she goes to the highest school in the land. Their pockets weren't hurting, that's for sure.

But with money comes problems, and with teenagers comes drama. Oh, what fun.

Underneath the money and excitement for the summer season is grudges and crushes that were subdued during the school year and are now beginning to show themselves, whether they were wanted or not.

(this is super important), to have a good story we gotta have unique characters. if you ever feel uninspired and need a little direction, just comment or pm me asking about what sort of characters i may be looking for.

four. be active !! regardless if your oc is chosen, please vote, comment, and share because i put a lot of effort into this and i don't want it to go to waste. bc things that flop make me cry (self-promo for my other stories cough cough)

five. finish your form quickly !! when i think i will be closing applications, i will respond to any unfinished applications so you know how much time you have to finish it. on that note, there is no set closing date, just until i think i have enough applications. 

six. the passwords are to post this on your message board (make sure to tag me so i see it) and put your favorite tv show and your ocs fav tv show in your form in the password section.
