patrick grabs pete's wrist and pulls him close, pressing his lips to the other boy's lips before pulling away.

"my parents won't let you stay. they go to bed at 7. i'll let you in sometime after that, okay? you can come through my back window or something."

pete nods and smiles, then kisses patrick again, "i love you so much. thank you."

the boy with the fedora and glasses only smiles gently.
