Thank you for sticking with this story. Ultimately, I have had to come to the heartbreaking decision to put this story on hold indefinitely. I cannot finish it at this time without severe detriment to my own health.

As a writer, I feel very deeply for my characters. Unfortunately, my world was rocked by the sudden death of one of the people who inspired one of my favorite characters.

Since then, I've found it difficult to return to Summer Tempest and editing Before Opening Night. This is why I've decided to stop writing this story at this time. I will leave both stories up as a tribute to my friend, and I hope to finish Summer Tempest someday. I just cannot find the words at this time to complete the story.

I'm sorry if I've gotten your hopes up as a reader. I did not come to this decision lightly. I hope I can finish this story if given enough time to heal. I thank you again for your support and patience.
