There are a few things you should probably know. Although this can be read as a stand alone book, I got the idea for this story from my other book "A First Love to Die For".

I completely fell in love with the secondary characters of Gabriel and Hailey and started obsessing about their love story.

This is it and I'm not going to lie, I love them even more as their romance unfolds. If you have already read "A First Love..." it might seem odd because this entire book takes place prior to the events in that story.

If you haven't read it, it's completely not necessary to read one in order to read the other. There are no spoilers... although some of the same characters obviously make an appearance in both. :D

Unlike "A First Love..." this book is going to be written from primarily one perspective. If it doesn't share the POV, that's because it is from Hailey's POV, which most chapters will be. I will share if the chapter is being written from anyone else's POV.

I think it's important to note that I've started the story when she is in grade 2, so in chapter one she is 8 years old and then each chapter details a different experience of Gabriel and Hailey throughout their childhood until we reach the summer they fall in love, where the bulk of the story will take place.

Lastly, this story is going to get steamy, hence the mature rating. Prepare for some 🌶 🔥!
