Night 2

~TRIGGER WARNING~

I tossed in my bed, not able to find a comfortable position. The blankets didn't sit quite right, and the pillows weren't positioned comfortably. The mattress felt hard, unlike normal. I finally settled down, stomach down and one knee pulled up while the other leg lay stretched out. My arms wrapped around the pillows, propping them up. What's up? I groaned. Purple, I'm trying to sleep. I know. That's why I said something. I plopped my face into the pillow, exasperated. You're rude, you know that? Yeah. I sighed, turning my head to the side and ignoring Purple, just so I could get some sleep.

I looked at the kid. Reddish hair, golden eyes, and an eyepatch over one eye. He was on his knees, begging. Begging for me to spare him. The knife in my hand glistened in the dim light, fresh blood dripping off the tip. The boy's eyes filled with horror as I walked closer to him. He glanced over at the other body, a little blonde girl with two braids. I needed three others to finish the collection. One for each animatronic.

I raised my knife, caressing his cheek with the razor sharp edge. I flicked my wrist, splitting his skin. Tears welled up in his eyes, and I smiled. Blood flowed from the cut, dripping off his chin.

"Please stop, Mr. Purple." I shook my head.

"Oh, we're just beginning," I said, proceeding to make little cuts in his skin before slitting his throat. I picked up the girl, placing her inside Chica. It's funny how when they're dead, they tend to be a lot lighter. I brushed my hair out of my face before picking up the boy. I placed him inside the Foxy suit, looking at the floor where they were laying. Two semi-large blood smears lay, and I picked up a mop, cleaning them up.

I shot up, gasping for breath. Covered in a cold sweat, I got out of bed, glancing at the clock. Only 11? I ran a hand over my face, then pushed my hair out of the way. Well, five hours is better than none, I guess, I thought as I stripped and climbed into the shower. I sighed, lathering my hair with shampoo. Purple was uncharacteristically quiet.

I climbed out of the shower, pulling on comfortable clothes and plopping onto the couch and flipping on the TV. I channel surfed a bit before getting up to get something to eat. I walked back to the couch, sitting down with a bowl of cereal. I ate, not paying any attention to the TV. I guess I was just used to the fact that Purple was talking all the time and since he was quiet, it weirded me out.

Hey, Purple? What? You alright? You're awfully quiet. I'm fine. You su- I said I'm fine! Leave me alone... Alright. That's really weird. Not only was he quiet, he wanted to be left alone. I began to wonder if the dream had anything to do with his mood.

I got to work at 23:45, a little later than the previous night, yet, earlier than when the animatronics activated. I walked into the rundown building, shoes clacking on the tile. Purple hadn't said anything at all after the hissy fit earlier, and it was starting to worry me. I laughed to myself. I'm worried over the psychopath in my brain. High-functioning sociopath. He speaks! Shut up. I sighed, plopping into the swivel chair again.

At midnight, Phone Guy called in again. "Uh, hello? Hello? Uh, well, if you're hearing this and you made it to day two, uh, congrats! I-I won't talk quite as long this time since Freddy and his friends tend to become more active as the week progresses." He continued, and I paid half attention, checking the cameras. Phone Guy talked about some other character who tended to be active for the rest of the week, Foxy, as I remembered from the dream. I thought of the poor kid Purple stuffed into Foxy, golden eyes and reddish hair. Hey, Purple? What are you thinking about? Nothing. Alright. Just a question. Pay attention to your job. I'm not going to be responsible for another death. I checked the stage then Pirate's Cove, glad to find that no one had moved yet.

It was 2:04 already, and I cracked my neck, watching the cameras. Bonnie had moved, already in the West hall. "Hi, Bonnie." I flicked the camera feed to the stage, then back to Pirate's Cove, checking the status of the others. Chica was out, and I checked the other cameras, not finding her. I then hit the hallway light button, not finding her on either side. I looked through the cameras again, not finding anyone except Freddy. Foxy had the curtain pulled back, his eyes watching the camera. "Hello," I said before placing the tablet down. I checked the hallways again, smiling faintly as I pushed the door button for the west, slamming it down on Bonnie's face.

I checked the other hallway, noticing that Chica wasn't there. I ran my hand over my face before sighing. Alright, Purple. The silence is more distracting. What's up? I checked the cameras again, checking the time while I did so. 3:45. Purple? Silence from the friendly neighborhood psychopath. That's odd... I checked Bonnie's hallway light again, slamming the door open when I didn't see his silhouette. I checked the cameras again, seeing Foxy out of the curtain, ready to come out. I checked the stage, just in case, and flipped back to Foxy, placing the tablet down as I checked either doorway.

Purple, what's going on? Usually you're not this quiet. It's worrying me. I checked back to Pirate's Cove, cursing when I noticed that Foxy wasn't there. I shut the door before checking the camera in the hallway. The fox animatronic made his way down the hall, fast. I mentally pat myself on the back for closing the door when I did. I heard some banging on the door, probably Foxy slamming his hook into it, and I smirked. Narrowly avoided death by metal hook. And that's exactly why I don't want to distract you. The silence is more distracting, Purple. If I'm being honest. Nothing from him after that. Oh well. I'll try to figure out what's bothering him when I'm not getting attacked by murderous animatronics. I checked the time again. 4:30. An hour and a half left. I glanced at the power levels. And 20% power. Piece of cake.

I sighed, looking in the hallways, glad no one was there. I glanced around the office, just noticing the devil's trap carved into the stone ceiling. Well, someone believed in the supernatural. I smiled faintly at the thought of someone getting up there just to carve the relic into the ceiling. Did they think the animatronics would actually get stuck? I checked the cameras again, then the hallways. I wasn't in immediate danger. Excepting the fact that my power was gonna run out soon. With an hour left, I had 6% power. Oh, crap. It's gonna be close... I checked the cameras again before deciding I was only gonna check Foxy and not use too much power. I flipped back to Pirate's Cove, where Foxy was getting ready to run.

"Y'know what? Effyou too, Foxy! I was just beginning to think that you were my favorite, too!" I sighed, checking Pirate's Cove once more, shutting the door before checking the hall cam. "Hello!" I yelled as he slammed his hook against the door. "Goodbye!" I said when the banging went away. Then the power went out. "Oh, eff..." I muttered as the doors slammed open and the camera tablet went out. I closed my eyes, not wanting to see who came after me. Let them catch me by surprise. Of course, much to my surprise, the bell toll sounded. I whooped for joy, jumping onto the desk and doing a little victory dance. I jumped back down, running out and flipping the onstage animatronics off. "See you later, suckers!"
