I realized that I have not updated in a week. Even though it is the second week of school, I have had a lot of homework. In addition to that, I did not think what was happening was interesting enough to tell you.
Just yesterday my civics teacher pulled me aside and asked me to teach for him. He said that I probably know more about the subject than he does. I declined the offer but he told me to think about it. I was thinking about it for the rest of the school day (which was about an hour). I went home for a bit to change and talk to my dad about it. I had already told my mom and she did not really give me a response. My dad thinks that it will be a great learning experience for me. I also told my small group at church last night and they prayed for me. One other student was attending my school and she said that I have a way to take complicated subjects and sum it up so others can understand it easier. She took civics at a different class period than I did but she wanted me to teach her class as well. After all of that encouragement I have decided to teach the class. I have to do a bit of research and talk to my teacher before I actually do it. I was planning on teaching about the differences between America's political parties. I will do my best to keep you updated on this. I might even update later today, so Soar on, Eagle Army.
