My First Automotive Incident
Sunday, September 4th, 2016
First off, I was too busy watching live streams yesterday. I think I watched four; two by Crainer, one by DanTDM, and one by PatrckStatic. That is why I did not update.
I woke up in a really good mood this morning. I was really happy until I had to move the van. I incidentally backed into another one of our cars that we were getting ready to sell. Once I noticed what happened, I pushed down the break pedal but it slipped and I backed further into it. I quickly put the van back into the driveway and I poured out tears. There is now a huge dent and many scratches. My wonderful morning was ruined. I have to fix up the car on my own with my own money. It makes it worse because I still need to pay for college and my braces. Being fifteen and having to pay for these things on your own is tough and I have not felt too great today.
On to Sunday School. A few students that graduated taught class today. They had us do a debate on whether or not we think it is necessary to go to church to be a Christian. I was on the side saying that you do not need to go to church. I say that church can be anywhere and you can have church by yourself as long as you are in the spirit. I know many wonderful Christians that do not go to church and they get along just fine. Although, it is nice to be with other believers.
My "work" today was really calmed down. We only had six kids and the story was really easy. We taught about Ruth. The kids colored and made puppets. We even got the news that one of the girls was going to become a big sister. Even though my "boss'" daughters went to what we call big church to hear the pastor preach, we did well and I got to see them before leaving. I was also handed a gift. It was a book on teaching Sunday School with a homemade card and sticky notes, which I needed for school.
My mother took me and my brothers shopping after church and got us some school supplies. Which reminds me that I finished decorating my binder for school. I told everyone, "While other girls put inspirational quotes on their binders, I put inspirational YouTubers on mine."
Once I got home, I took some migraine pills. They did not help that much. What did help was Crainer's daily livestream. He makes me laugh and I was feeling much better afterwards. During the stream I took a screenshot and colored half of a picture with pens.
Today's celebrity birthdays are Josh Zerker (Zerkaa) and Tenzing Norgay Trainor. Tenzing turns fifteen and Josh turns twenty-four. Tenzing is an actor with Disney Channel and has starred in Good Luck, Charlie and Liv & Maddie. Josh is a YouTuber and also a member of the Sidemen. He is known as Daddy Zerk because of his beard. Happy birthday to both of them.
Today's daily song is Less Talk, More Rokk by Freezepop. It was suggested by PatrckStatic in yesterday's Static Saturday Vlog. The video does not belong to me and if you would like to suggest a song, add it to the comments.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow his precepts have good understanding. To him belongs eternal praise.
- Psalm 111:10 (NIV)
"
Notice that wisdom doesn't begin with knowledge, for knowledge without the fear of the Lord can become destructive. This Psalm tells us that obedience is the first step toward true understanding, so start with a heart that is ready to listen and obey what God says in His word. When you do, you not only gain wisdom and understanding, your heart experiences praise, which brings passion back into your soul, and passion motivates us to use all that we learn for God's glory." - Dave Whitehead
The only prayer request for today is to pray for finances, not just for me but for anyone that needs it. Also, if you have any prayer requests be sure to add them to the comments as I would love to pray for you. With that being said, Soar on, Eagles.
